@@ahmedabdelazeem9690 Heh yeah. Compared to every other host I have seen, Ford might as well be in his living room here. He gets real weird on the late night shows. This spot was real chill by comparison
This IS the best Harrison Ford interview, and I've seen many. He has terrible enxiety issues, hate talking about Star Wars and Han Solo. Ferguson nailed this by talking about planes.
I imagine he's a massive introvert which makes awkward pauses more comfortable for him than actually speaking and in part what makes him such a cool persona on-screen, where his actions are deliberate and not jumpy. he seems slow in almost all his actions, despite having an improviser's wit, so in some sense he might just be overwhelmed by celebrity status. he seems nervous here, like other talk-show interviews, like he's looking for a way to escape
That Relates To Human-Field Sort Of Talk Since The Everything takes the form of an energy, then one interesting aspect to remember is the usage of the such in psychic detective works...

It's funny because he was playing a more shy-stuttery type of person in 42 and you can tell he's having trouble getting out of the role cause he usually doesn't stutter that much.
I thought the HF interview was good , may be not good for a zappy up tempo show , but a good interview . He , on film comes across as acting does not require words , but I like that , the space thing ........ put the space in . It ' s a matter of approach . Many tend to suggest how awkward HF is during interviews. Other say even worse things about it. I think HF is a person that feels uncomfortable when in front of a crowd. Add someone trying to poke into his private life and it probably gets worse. There is nothing wrong with that and he has a very special kind of humor, if you allow him to get adjusted to the situation. Only because you are a celebrity doesn't mean that you get used to a crowd and being exposed. I think that Craig did a great job by not directly talking about private stuff but instead, bringing his passion into the conversation: flying. And you can clearly see how HF becomes more and more relaxed and talkative. He is just a person that needs more time and skill to get going.
Harrison Ford and Craig Ferguson are both of my heroes and seeing them together is something I never thought it would get to witness. Thank you so much JayLenoFly ❤❤❤
Harrison ford played the straight man so well. His interview was hilarious. He wasn't sure where he was or how the "Ohh lala" Craig got his own show! Hahahaha.

Yes, I was married to a helicopter pilot who served 2 tours in vietnam, earned 2 distinguished flying crosses, & was shot down countless times & still lived 2 talk about it..& missed it!! He was a Great guy, but he truly was a "thrill junkie".
The most surprising for me was Vin Diesel. I saw another comment below about him always playing the same character in his movies, and that is what I felt as well. But watching his interview shows another side to him that you wouldn't expect. And by the way, Harrison Ford has broken more than just a helicopter.....he's been in the news several times.
it's a really good interview though, gives the odd greenhorn an insight in craigs decision to quit the show :) totally get what he means beating a dead horse btw, hope he does some collab with some scottish comedians one day (hint hint) *cough* limmy's show *cough*
I could have sworn Keanu was on multiple times, I remember watching them on a compilation because he asked about motor cycles each time and I think Keanu was a little surprised he did not remember the last conversation.
I think CF is the best US chat show host I've ever seen. Scratch that, he's the best chat show host I've ever seen - period. I think Harrison Ford has always been a painful interview because he's an awkward individual. Even the characters he plays are like that. The segments with Vin Diesel and Becks were excellent.
Ford, in an interview setting, I've never seen as comfortable as he was just chattin' aircraft with The Flying Farty Dunkey. Kimmel was so sweet! I'm sure most folks wanted Craig to stay, to continue giving Craig Ferguson to us. But Jimmy genuinely wanted to make sure; to be content in the knowledge that Craig was making conscious strides toward what he honestly judged was what he wanted. Not leaving due to misguided desire, and not clearly about to regret moving on. I wish he was happily still on TV, but I'm happy that he was able to leave on his terms. We should all be so fortunate.
Great comment. I wish more people saw/notes how earnest Jimmy was being. At first I thought he was just joking but by the end it was obvious that Jimmy wanted either Craig to stay or like you said, be sure he wanted to move on.
interesting that Harrison Ford has a de Havilland Beaver, it's the plane he flew in the movie '6 Days, 7 Nights' with Anne Heche, he mentions the plane's type when Anne's character belittling it :)
