I live in a mobile home and I have a dip in the floor about 6 inches wide and about 3 foot long and underneath it says it’s in between some two by fours or two by sixes can I use the self leveling stuff that you use and then put the vinyl back over it You’re a blessing

Hi Joe, try using a hole saw for backer boards and a cordless plane for taking back those studs, far less mess.

Great information! What about out of plumb walls? I’m about to tile a shower with exact same layout but it’s a 120 year old house and besides out of true studs on the horizontal plane the walls are out of plumb. I’m concerned that the corner tile reveal will vary from top to bottom and be obvious even to the casual observer. I’ve been saving this task because it’s an entire remodel of this home and I mulling over how to achieve flat and plumb. When I say plumb I mean reasonably plumb.

Ya gotta move away from Pex with Oetiger fittings. Those elbows work ok on a vanity but they reduce water flow for a tub diverter and shower head. I found out the hard way after I had to tear out the work. Twice
