My guinea pig had awful owners before I owned him (a relative) He's sort of a rescue piggie. I mean he was nothing but skin and bones, malnourished, and nothing but frightened. At first he would always run away from us when we walk by or open the cage. I felt so sorry. A month later, he's big and healthy, he starts to greet us and build up trust with us, now he's well fed, expects nothing but love and veggies, and runs around the house every now and then. Love my Fonzie

Yeah, I don't know why people are saying piggies are a good beginner pet? A beginner pet would be something like an insect that can thrive on some food and oxygen with a little space
Weird mine seems fine with the other pets have a puppy and 3 cats and lots of fresh water and saltwater fish.

@@Julia-vr9rw in germany it‘s illegal to have only one and yes it is animal cruelty that‘s a fact. Guinea pigs are the most social animals in the world. And having 2 guinea pigs isn’t much more work than having one you just need to cut the nails of both instead of one and clean the cage where is a bit more poop but if that‘s a lot for you, you should never have animals.

Love when my boy Diego just flattens like a pancake even though he's 1.5kg last I time I weighed him which was only about 1h half again I'd say, was giving mite treatment. I'm a good owner and hes the most pampered piggy ever and he knows it. 😊
