I have 3 piggies and they love their home since I built a wooden surround with a large hay 'barn' where all 3 can eat, sleep, play or hide comfortably. I have a wooden hay rack with fresh hay that doesn't get soiled. In the main are they have a hide each and have Guinea Dad fleece and cozy pads. You have a great set-up too. 👌 Mine love the layout and are happy knowing where their 'furniture' is! 🙂. Also as they get older it's kinder to them as they can smell, and 'feel' their way round with their whiskers 🙂 and know exactly where their bowls and water bottles are. As for colours, they know green! 😂🥬🥬🥬

Gosh this has helped me so much, especially in my piggies’ masks! (No, I’m a therian - don’t judge, I’m making a mask to look like one) NOW I understand how my half fried potatoes see the world :D you’ve earned a new sub, tysmm!

Holy heavens, I wonder then maybe the reason my boys aren't eating as much pellets is because they don't like the bowl color. Could that be a possibility lol, they eat everything else , but it's actually the pellet itself they didn't like i switched to a different one and they ate it. But it's good to know that piggies have bowl preference colors too
I think they are a bit like us and they have a preferred color. It could be something interesting to try to stimulate the appetite of a guinea pig. I think that some guinea pigs won’t care at all about the color and will go with the smell. And some others will be confused because it is not their usual bowl or plate. This is something to explore with larger sample of piggies 🤓🥰🥰

I think they see everything, as Long its their favourite Snack. Mine didnt Like carrots. If i placed carrots in their bowl, they would not See it. If i pointed out the carrots to Them, they would Look at me with disdain, carefully Take the carrots out of their bowl and Point to the empty bowl. I then would eat the offending carrots myself, hold my belly laughing and of course before all that, bring Them tomatoes, lettuce, dandelion or whatever they deemed suitable For Them....
It is amazing the way they communicate with, especially when they don't like something. They cannot see very far but they will recognize their caregiver and look at us to make sure we don't forget that they need an extra treat.
My guinea pigs don't run away from me..... Most of your information is wrong... You read one book on guinea pigs and think you are an expert 😂I've raised guinea pigs for over 30 years... They are the sweetest animals🖤
@@jinxmalison this video doesn’t have any wrong information. It’s a good video. I have had Guinea pigs since 2001. They absolutely do run it’s in their instincts as prey animals. Most will get used to you over time.
