- This is Abigale. She's going to get worse before she gets better, so we are prepping for that.
She was a dumped bunny. PLEASE don't release domestics in the wild. They can't do it. Their bodies are just not made for it.
I'm estimating and will hope for a full recovery by Christmas. Wylee was the same - and he was a good 4 months recovery. This was her first feeding and meds dose once we got her home from the vet.

OMG😢what is wrong with people? How can someone dumped such a precious and innocent animal? They could easily take it to a shelter. Bless your heart for rescuing her.❤ She reminds me so much of sweet Wylee❤. I love watching his videos😊

They are loving beautiful little animals so loyal to loving owners mine follows me everywhere comes when called lick me and constantly wanting cuddles fuss and love.

A bath would be way to stressful even when a rabbit is healthy baths can scare a rabbit to death and give them hypothermia.

I had two bunnies and I feel sad someone could be so coldhearted to treat an animal like this. Thank you for help this cute bunny and the other animals!! ❤🤗
@Aqua_rela I gave my 2nd rabbit so much parsley she got fat, she just loved it. She would just devour a bunch of parsley in less than a minute!!!! She was extremely beautiful but she died when I was in rehab age only 3 because the staff refused to let me get her a vet!!!!

You are doing such wonderful work. I love rabbits, how could somebody be so cruel. These rabbits can not look after themselves, they are not wild rabbits. They have a wonderful kind and gentle nature and do not deserve to be treated like this. They can not survive on their own , I donate to 2 rabbit charities in the UK, who do similar work,

I got a bunny a year and a half ago motivated because they are cute and they seem like an apartment pet . The first few months I wanted to rehome my rebellious bun (who it turns out has my personality..lol) and a year and a half later am still learning as it goes on. I wouldn't give up my Baby..not now! I spend average 9 hours a day with my free roamer and he is exhausting but he is the best friend/son and I am blessed to know him..bunnies are sweet, smart, funny..you just have to learn their language and know they are a handful. You will be poopcleaning daily, vacuuming, making their lunch and hay, grooming, worrying..they are furry angels on earth. Ppl need to know they are a looot of work but ❤ on 4 legs! You are an angel for tending to these underestimated little ❤s! What sweeties!
P.s. I learned something the other day. Best friend..yes, family member? Indeed. Son?😳

I have a Florida white, she's the sweetest, this bun reminds me of my bunnies. I couldn't imagine dumping them. They are so smart, they recognize me, and follow me around.
Very cute bunny rabbit. I love watching the bunny's mouth moving like he's enjoying it.
I'm glad that he's such a gobbler and not fighting mommy or spitting out medicine.
I hope my cat doesn't have to take medicine. I'm taking him to the vet today.

Wonderful rescue. Not sure dumped or run away. I would avoid letting my rabbits into open as they might end up lost since they splint very quickly especially in panic.
Did you recently post about this bun in the exotic vet corner? I've been wondering how she is doing. She has a fighting spirit and found just the right human to help her.

I dont know where this bunny was dumped, but unfortunately alot of rabbits shown at stock shows will get dumped on backroads after the show is over. And in cities pet bunnies will get dumped in parks or they will drive out to rural areas and dump them. Its sad, and unfortunately domestic rabbits dont have the survial skills to make it in the wild, plus their colors are easy for predators to see.

Try just using a damp cloth and a cat brush to clean her up because to give her a bath in this unstable condition could frighten her to death and cause hypothermia. I know you probrably know this but a bath could really set her condition back. I know she a stinky crud bucket poor bunny wabbit. ❤Best of luck.

I own a rabbit rescue. I see this and much worse every day. It's almost impossible to do this kind of work and still find anything good about people.
@@thecardboardbunny do I ever hear you. The romance of rescue is warm and fuzzy, but for every one that is saved, there's so many more that aren't. It's the more fulfilling and horrible thing...lol

It totally disgusts me how people can just dump rabbits I'm a rabbit Advocate and I rescue rabbits I have my own rabbit Channel come check me out if you want but I have rescued so many abandoned rabbits it's not even funny and I found them good homes I got them fixed and they're nice healthy when they leave here I just don't understand why people have to dump rabbits they don't deserve that they have a heart just like we do
