I rescued 2 bunnies from being snake food I was told they are both females we took them to the vet found out they are male and female 😩 we had their surgeries scheduled and separated them but kept them both in the same room. It was to late Riany had 5 babies 2 days before their surgeries. Anyways Stormy got neutered I kept him in the same room but had a pen up. After his surgery and hormones were gone I slowly let him see Riany and the babies and he was so gentle they were all best friends and grooming until the hormones started coming out. Your channel saved my babies from living in a cage I didn't know anything about bunnies I just knew I had to save them. Thank you for everything I love your channel ❤❤
I remember I used to have a pair of bonded rabbits that were neutered and spayed but I bought the female (Pookie), a toy rabbit, she took care of it like it was her own and so did the male (Eddie) even though he'd never seemed very affectionate
My Male rabbit took care of his babies & other Rabbit babies like a mother 😂 While their actual mothers were running away from feeding babies 😂😂 He's so special & calm . . Always gentle with all bunnies & humans 🥹🥹
My Hunny Bunny is a single female and she seems to be content with that. She came from a large family and she doesn't seem to miss them at all. I have had her for almost three years now ❤

I remember someone left their cottontails loose when they moved and we got rabbits in our neighborhood. Mom would come over to eat and relax during the day and I assumed the dad was watching over them.
I had a buck, Spooky that loved his son, Greyson so much if I didn't know he was a male I would've swear he gave birth to his son. Spooky loved Greyson from the moment he met him. He basically stole Greyson from his mother and teached him how to be a bunny. He taught him, what grass is good to eat, the best sleeping spots, grooming him constantly and cuddling. Spooky was super protective over his son, he would let anyone come near him. The kicker, Greyson is not Spooky's biological son. All Spooky knew is his wife has a baby and this smol bun needs to be protected at all cost. Greyson grew up to be a wonderful father just like his dad, loved all his babies and followed the teachings of his father.
As I am sitting here watching this wonderful video, my neutered male bunny is busy licking a hole into my husband's pillow. And now he's munching caecotropes on my husband's side of the bed😂 What a little doofus he is🤣
Hey Lorelei & Lennon 👋, lots and lots and lots and lots of love 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 from India 🐇🐇🥰🥰🥰🥰 I've watched your old videos and have learnt a lot about taking care of bunnies 🐇 thank you soooo much dear 🙏
Is there any platform i can reach out to other people for advice? About a month ago my boyfriend got me 2 bunnies as a present. Were still young and still live with our parents. The bunnies are staying at his place but neither of us are able to have them free roam inside our homes so they stay outside. Im not there a lot so i rarely can bond with the bunnies. What would be best for me to do?
Lennon is an adorable bunny 🐰 🐇 😍 💕! Please, show more Lennon the Bunny! This is very good information! We have a rescue bunny 🐰 🐇 💜! All of the Rescues bunnies are fixed so they cannot have babies before they go to their 4EVER homes 🏡!
We originally had 2 sisters and I'm sure the lack of male caused one to take that role on. The way she flopped was much more like male rabbits, the humping, the fighting other rabbits. Sadly she passed away, we got her sister an actual boy bun and I'm not sure he would have any of these traits in him. In fact I'm not entirely sure he knows how to bunny yet full stop. And he's often honking like a guinea pig when he's running around.
So I went to this camp, and there was bunnies there, and they were living in very small little cage and people were holding the bunnies and stressing them out and those rabbits are up for adoption. I really want to get one, but I know it’s a commitment and there babies. I’m just very worried where these rabbits will be. Do you have any advice? Because I wanted to tell the lady that my rabbit has his own room to himself, and he goes in a litter box but I didn’t want to sound disrespectful because I am only 12 years old 😢
The father in separate cage when he comes out he runs to the mother n kits kisses them thru cage as his kits gets older he acknowledge them as his own n loves the mother still not netered❤

I got a rabbit 2 weeks ago, his name is Holden and he’s 14 weeks old, he still hasn’t bonded with me yet, I’ve tried using methods that most people reccomend for new bunny caretakers, he still won’t budge , are there any other tatics or do I keep waiting? Just asking
So, I briefly bred rabbits and and we had a father that fathered ~2.5 litters, 2 with the mother, 1 much smaller litter with one of the kits, we got him and one of his sons from the first litter neutered within a week of the second litter, and allowed them to be with the kits. After neutering the father was a really great Dad and the son was a cooperative uncle, especially after the Mother died when the kits were just starting to eat pellets, the father really stepped up and showed them how to be bunnies. As the boys got older and we separated them out, the father would typically break up fights between the boys, showing that in the wild European father bunnies probably do have more of a role in the family, trying to keep the peace or forcing out hot headed uncooperative males. The father, his neutered son and the girls formed a very tight-nit colony, when we allowed them in a caged in area outdoors, they all took turns digging a warren, they were very cooperative with each other. There were 2 unneutered males that got along really well with each other and with the neutered males that we were planning on getting neutered to reintroduce them to the colony, but they got adopted off beforehand, so there are more cooperative male rabbits, but there are also male rabbits that will fight with any males they see, the dynamic we tended to see was that the more docile, cooperative males would team up on the hot headed males and push them out of their spaces, typically led by the father. I think a lot of the facts about bucks stem from either cottontails, which don't have large colonies or from breeders who weren't as interested in allowing lots of free roam time, European rabbits, where domesticated rabbits descend from, have much more of a colony structure and I think I was started to see that form in my little colony (granted, we were also encouraging that behavior with forced separations and neutering, so it wasn't exactly a controlled experiment). Eventually we adopted out the unneutered males and kept the neutered father and son and almost all of the female rabbits and they lived a fairly long life for their breed.
Lmao storytime. So when i first got my rabbit, the breeder told me that it was a male. Fast forward 1 month and im at the vet and im told that "hes" a she changed her name to aokiko
Thank you for the video. Please... Can you or someone else Please answer an important question for me? I have no rabbit vets I can get to. Months ago, my rabbit decided she wants nothing to do with pellets, hay, and even water. I was told she can have veg and fruit at 6 months old. She's a year and a half now, and when I don't give her lettuce or fruit, she refuses to eat at all even though I can tell she's very hungry. Should I see if she'll accept the bunny pellets? Does anyone know the name? I've tried different hay. She wants nothing to do with it and I worry I'll lose my sweet picky rabbit.
I loved my male bunny (he was neutered), he was a perfect baby and friend to us, but in human standards male rabbits are terrible fathers most of the times, as this video explains. Basically they forget they have offspring
