I used to be a postman for three years, and during my service there was one particular trap place that I would get post for. Because while number 15 and 17 were still on the square, 16 had been demolished years prior and replaced by a playground. However a lot of maps still featured the address to be next to the entrance of the playground eventhough that was a privately owned garage. This wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't for the dozens of people who either used to live at number 16 but are now long dead or used it as a dummy address to send unwanted mail to. I have had plenty of arguments with my former employer over this, because in his mind Google says number 16 exists and Google cannot possibly be wrong.
I'm a postman too and I find the same fake or wrong addresses even based on on-line maps. There are numbers of buildings in the middle of the streets and such. The real problem is that the number of real buildings increases and number of postmen doesn't.
I'd just slip the letters underneath the garage door.☺

I assumed as a kid that this was a street that had existed in the past but was no more, but I had actually found a trap street.

@CowsRus dude, they need the ads to run their channels, they need to spend their time researching, editing, scripting, and filming the video and it took a really huge amount of your times when it's done only by a couple of people or if Jay considered to work by himself, if he rely on his current job to cover his own cost of living, it's basically a slavery because they have so little time to rest, that's why the ad is so important to him, his videos weren't just about random videos with lousy gags and all that shit, his videos were really informative and it took most of your creativity and passion to do it so i respect them for it
Mee too. I don’t hate his sponsor as much as I hate Skillshare. They are really annoying.

@CowsRus Eh. I think it's pretty clear when the ad is starting. They need ads to keep the channel alive, especially for a channel that does well researched stuff so takes a long time to make each video. And at least they turn it into a pretty funny skit - that takes effort too

I work a lot on backroads in northern British Columbia; it's pretty common to find roads on the map that don't exist. Of course, this probably has more to do with the fact that a lot of old forestry roads get decommissioned after use.
Though a funny anecdote, I was driving out to a project and had a new-to-the-job passenger doing the navigating. "So... we hang a left on the 800 Road and that should take us straight to the project," he says. I drive up and down, looking for the 800 Road and finally ask to see the map.
