Great content! I am now a subscriber. If you track through the board but would want to use existing preamps in your gear collection, can you bypass the ssl preamps and just go line in and out to your daw?

Amature question. Why not use the mic-pre’s built into the SSL? Are the UA Apollo pre’s better?
That's exactly what we are doing. The Apollo does not have any preamps on them. all the signal is only running through the SSL pre's.

What computer/Audio Interface are you using to get audio into the SSL origin
I am using a new Mac Mini M1, 6 core with 16GB of ram. The Audio Interfaces are the Universal Audio Apollo X16.
you guys should get izotope rx so you can get rid of that fan noise.

Which bus compressor do you prefer the ssl or the Wes audio?
