Normally I am not a huge yin fan, but I really enjoyed this one, Joelle! For me, holding the poses for only a couple minutes rather than 5 is much more doable, but still effective. So this was perfect. Thank you! Namaste. 🙏💗
It’s great to have a longer practice for the SI joint (I do your shorter practice regularly) and this is also lovely and calming for the end of the day. Thank you, Joelle!
That's wonderful to hear, thanks Madeline! I do also have another practice for the SI Joint that's a bit longer in case you haven't tried it yet: ruclips.net/video/RDChR5cPSQ4/видео.html
I love this deer pose. Some days my version is to stay sitting tall because I can get comfortable sacro illiac joint movement. I like slowly adjusting the angles of the knees to get satisfying clicks in that stiff joint.
Hi! Not sure if you've done this already but I'd like to request a 10 min video for lower body & upper body stretches after a workout (separate preferably!) and one for full body! Thank you xxx
Your practice sequences have helped my Spinal Stenosis Pain (mostly down my right leg) so very much. I am also in physical therapy and many of your poses mimic the exercises that the physical therapist has recommended. Thank you so very much. Namaste.
@@maryjbasile-filler1841 Thank you so much for asking! It's a bit of a complex move (involving some temporary stays in different places), so we're still in the thick of things, but it will all work out, I'm sure! 🙂
Mam if you don't mind, could you make a video of how you live ur daily life and routine with fibromyalgia. Hope you deal with it? I'm really confused with my fibromyalgia. So if you can do it, it will help me.. Only if you don't mind ♥️
Good question! Generally speaking we want the breath to not feel forced. So it'll depend slightly on the practice and its focus, but in most of my own yin practices I like to make the exhale just a little bit longer than the inhale. So you could experiment, for example, with breathing in for a slow count of 4 and breathing out for a slow count of 6. See how that feels and if over time you find that it can become a bit more "natural." I hope that helps!
That's not something I've personally dealt with, but you're very welcome to have a look through the chronic pain playlist of practices to see if one suits you: tinyurl.com/yea9me8n I hope that helps

That's awesome!! Well done giving it a try Carolynn! 😃 And I agree, a comparatively shorter hold can still be super effective 😉

Joelle, do you recommend a certain breathing pattern, when doing yin yoga?

@@YogawithJoelle Thanks for the answer. I like long, slow, deep breaths, so that's what I'm gonna do.
Mam, do you had breast pain related with fibromyalgia? If, please help me by recommending what to do ?
