I've killed about 7k survivors so far, so it's definitively possible. I used to play nice too. However, after weeks of cheaters and the boon carpet bombing, I've lost my patience. Yesterday after a few really bad games (cheater, small map offering with several COH/SS boons, RPD offering) I've switched to a more relaxing camping Bubba. It's so restful. I don't care about boons anymore. I don't care about the map. I got between two and four kills for the remainder of the night. I guess you can call that the Most Efficient Technique Available. When I play survivor and I get camped, my team simply finishes the gens and leave. Another relaxing way to win (as a team).
Not only do you make banger videos, but the music choices are great too. Compactor Reactor is a personal favourite of mine too, nothing beats Medieval Madness though 😎
Something I find bad in this game is that when you play killer you really have to remember everything every little detail that can make your game go well but in survivor it’s just do gen and don’t go down to quickly when you are chase
There are a few things. Gen prog, down priority, hook juggling, knowing when it’s better to just go down and save pallets vs gaining more distance from gens, stun save etc. swf make this a lot easier with coms but solo que you basically have to play for you team and hope they play for you. But it is true killers have to think a bit more at times. But it’s the balance that comes with being faster and etc. personally see it as a game of back and forth. Killer gets a down. The ball is in the survivors court. You respond now. If you have made to many mistakes (missing a trade) you still need to plan. If they survivors have made more than 1 mistake (like missing a save and getting grabbed) they need to plan. It’s a balancing bar sometimes the balance bar is weighted different but overall dbd does gameplay solid. Despite being frustrating on both sides at times.
That's if you're a bad survivor. Any good survivor has to keep track of things too: - where the 3/4-gens is - where there are pallets left (you see teammate A loop early in a zone and then they went down in another zone ? Expect those two zones to have very few pallets), - which gens are the other survivors doing since you might need to go finish them for them or to keep track of which gen you should work on next or to make sure you're not dragging the killer to them while in your chase - where did the killer go after hooking so you can approach the unhook safely - pay attention to what everybody is doing and if maybe you need to let go of your gen to do something else (like unhook someone else or finish a gen that was disrupted at 95% to avoid it being regressed by Pop or Pain Res) - while in a chase you need to think about the pallets you're dropping and prioritise them in order to not create a dead zone in one big side of the map - decide where you should go down in order to help the team as much as possible - even endgame: where are the gates ? If you're in a chase, try go down as close to them as possible - killer is snowballing, what should you do ? Should you go help them, or first reset yourself far away and let the killer hook so they don't get a 4k right here and then ? - keep track of what totems are cleansed or not in case the killer has Penti or NOED - observe and remember what perks the killer has, it can literally be the difference between surviving and dying And probably plenty of other things I have forgotten about. Any teams where none or only one survivor keeps track of those things is most likely a certain win from the killer, unless the killer is also very bad at paying attention to what's going on.
@@Libellulaire well you can’t tell me that keeping tract of the action and perk of 1 person is harder than keeping track of 4 as killer you have 4 survivor to keep track of where they are what’s their perks and for most of the action you take as a survivor you should know what to do from experience and most of the things you said you have to keep track of them as killer too

The only Killer that benefits slow down and pressure is The Doctor. So, if you are a Doctor main . . . . . You can easily disrupt a lot of gen rushing, healing, and yes, destroy looping because The Doctor is one of the few Killers that does benefit Pallets being destroyed. P.S The Doctor is the only Killer that is unique for being a Pressure type Killer for not having instant downs like the other Killers and having a lingering status effect that stays affected through out the match.
"Don't think of not getting the hook as a failure" is something I REALLY needed to hear tonight after hyperfixating so hard on hooks that I got shit on multiple games in a row
Something I don’t think enough survivors do is if a survivors being camped, just do gens, you’ll be able to get a lot of gens done by just leaving them for dead as dying on the hook takes forever if you don’t get yourself killed
This philosophy is why I LOVE running oblivious/undetectable perks with PWF as killer, especially on nemesis, because people start to realise that if no-one is being chased then there's no guarantee I'm not currently hauling-ass to their position once that zombie spots them or gets blinded
Also if you pick up a survivor and see other survivors sabotaging hooks just drop that survivor and slug them while you go for the survivors that sabotaged the hook and then leave the slugged guy on the ground for someone to pick them up i do this because if i feel like i cant make a hook its better to drop them slugged then for them to wiggle out
I just started playing killer and I stupidly have chosen Deathslinger as my main. So I can add a tip for all you baby Slingers out there. Tip: You'll be surprised how often survivors forget you can M1. The number of survivors that start doing bullshit when they realize you can't shoot well ends up for making easy M1 hits and downs. Though I won't lie I have a heavy gen slowdown build. Eruption, Dead Man's Switch, Merciless Storm, and Ultimate Weapon though I view them all as info perks personally. Mind you I'm not looking to win games atm I'm looking to make games as long as possible so I can practice shooting as much as possible.
I only ever tunnel or camp if it’s a bully squad I’m playing against. Just be careful they don’t cry and try to DDOS you when you win. They did it to me.

and always remember not to take their hate comments to heart. :). playing killer is the hardest thing to do in dead by daylight. and no matter what you do. somebody doesnt think you're good enough. and i mean, no matter what.
Hey man, great video. What do you prioritise at the start of the game? Getting your first hook or pressure? Sometimes if I’m struggling to get that first down I’m wondering if it’s best to just keep leaving or just commit to someone even if it means losing a couple gens.
Great question! I would say first hook for most killers, but pressure for "power up" killers like Plague, Ghostface, Dredge, Nemesis, Legion etc. where you want a lot of survivors affected by your power during the match. As for winning that first chase, sometimes you do get unlucky and find the best survivor first. In that case, when you start chase, I would consider: 1. Are they in a strong area? (like near a main building or close together loops) If so, look for someone else 2. Did you push them off a gen? (if not, they might want to be chased first on purpose) If I think I've found a good survivor first, usually I'll just try to force them to drop one pallet, break it, and leave to find other survivors.
I dont like tunneling but I am how get it every time... And do it every time... not on purpose. I just hook go off kick some gene start chase and unhook so I go back and found only that one guy I hook or they unhook front of my face I smash them and go for that hook one...ye maybe I just little tunel... Tip 5, talk About that my last game I want try Mikael so I lv him up to 10lv and try him first game. 1 guy after first hit start point on me and after unhook he go afk. so I go for other, one letf game because I bait his dead Hard and 2 of them after tear 3 Down left and that one guy who throw on first hit found hatch.
Sometimes your pressure as a killer is created to passive. For example survivors who try so hard to go for a rescue even though they can play it cool and be calm if you are good then you can snow ball the game down every last one of them in an instant well assuming the survivors are all noobs and semi noobs.
- Be me a Legion main - Injures 3 survivors and downs one - Practically the rest of the match remain injured - Gens get done faster - Wait thats ilegal.jpg Ah yeah one last thing - Mad Grit for the bodyblocking, it's more stealthy than starstruck so the more they try to bodyblock, the merrier
to be fair camping 60ft away is "technically" still camping, just not camping the hook. For example instead of camping the hook in azarovs you're camping the middle.
I’m a killer main and I can always get 3-4 kills per game just by playing with half a brain Anyone who says dbd is survivor sided has never played solo que survivor and anyone who says it’s killer sided has never played killer against a good SWF
So many logic fallacies here in your second sentence, but to keep it very short: DbD is survivor sided, there is no question about that. However, this is a thing that rarely becomes apparent in soloQ but can easily become very obvious against half decent people in a SWF. Most matches with 4 random people tend to actually be all in all rather balanced with roughly 2 kills / 2 escapes normally at the end of the match.
Just because solo queue survivors get demolished doesn't mean the game is not Survivor sided. If you used half of your brain to think. Optimal survivors will demolish every killer with exceptions to nurse and blight. It doesn't matter if most survivors are solo que or casual teams it does not excuse sweat squads from being a detriment to the game's balance.
wait...WTF....i bought this like 4 weeks ago..the tutorial ...didnt tell me i could drop people..no one on youtube said this till now...*flips out and jams her flamberge though a survivors..nose in anger..an storms off *
90% of the time, slugging does nothing for me. Guy goes down, I chase someone else, guy is up within 20 seconds, I would have gained as much if not more time hooking him and patrolling gens...
Camping and tunneling is only strong against solo players but if they're a team then you're dead because 2-3 of them are doing gens and will only save their teammate when its time is almost up.
bro I did tip #5 bc I got mad at a bully squad for trolling me then I lost control to my anger slugged them all t bagged them and said ez in end game chat as ghost face PLUS IN GARDEN OF JOY
Even if you hook 3 survivors That 1 survivor unhooks every single one of them when you check a gen i lose my mind like im literally lost my mind on this point i literally cried when They popped 3 gens at the same time when i was going to another gen

That's if you're a bad survivor.
Any good survivor has to keep track of things too:

- where there are pallets left (you see teammate A loop early in a zone and then they went down in another zone ? Expect those two zones to have very few pallets),
- which gens are the other survivors doing since you might need to go finish them for them or to keep track of which gen you should work on next or to make sure you're not dragging the killer to them while in your chase
- where did the killer go after hooking so you can approach the unhook safely
- pay attention to what everybody is doing and if maybe you need to let go of your gen to do something else (like unhook someone else or finish a gen that was disrupted at 95% to avoid it being regressed by Pop or Pain Res)
- while in a chase you need to think about the pallets you're dropping and prioritise them in order to not create a dead zone in one big side of the map
- decide where you should go down in order to help the team as much as possible
- even endgame: where are the gates ? If you're in a chase, try go down as close to them as possible
- killer is snowballing, what should you do ? Should you go help them, or first reset yourself far away and let the killer hook so they don't get a 4k right here and then ?
- keep track of what totems are cleansed or not in case the killer has Penti or NOED
- observe and remember what perks the killer has, it can literally be the difference between surviving and dying
And probably plenty of other things I have forgotten about.
Any teams where none or only one survivor keeps track of those things is most likely a certain win from the killer, unless the killer is also very bad at paying attention to what's going on.

Order of killer pressure:
Sacrifice > Hook > Slug > Chase > Deep Wounds
Slug > Hook
The video itself says it
This video revolutionized my killer game! Now I spend every Trial getting all four survivors off!
Survivors play efficient and mean: gg ez
Killer plays efficient and mean: GAME IS BROKEN TOXIC KILLER
How does this video only have 992 likes. This video is amazing
ur guides r very good man - keep going
im here in august and this is soo helpful
Great tips!! thanks.
You have survivor tips? Like how to loop etc.
I wish! I'm not very good at survivor. But check our mrtatorheads YT channel, he teaches looping on specific maps!
I literally use lethal pursuer on most builds it’s sooooooo good
Anytime I'm gone playing other games for awhile I always come back here to clean off the rust
Also if you pick up a survivor and see other survivors sabotaging hooks just drop that survivor and slug them while you go for the survivors that sabotaged the hook and then leave the slugged guy on the ground for someone to pick them up i do this because if i feel like i cant make a hook its better to drop them slugged then for them to wiggle out
a lot of times I assume that survivors run Boil Over when they run to specific rooms and just leave them without bothering
Great intermediate advice here.
0:27 this isnt a pvp game its a hockey game
Is that Crash Bandicoot music at the end?
1:16 imma need the sauce for this clip, chief
One of the reasons I play the artist i can create dead zones with my crows forcing them away or to take damage looping securing a easy down
I only ever tunnel or camp if it’s a bully squad I’m playing against. Just be careful they don’t cry and try to DDOS you when you win. They did it to me.
I gotten back into dbd recently after 3 years and i am w huntress main, holy shit how many hate messages from good hatchet throws is so entertaining i created a salt gallery 🤣
Creating pressure is like literally 50% of all trap bases and teleportation killer gameplay
I will argue. That slugging is fine. Snowballing and getting 4 downs is fine. Forcing everyone to bleed out on the ground should result in a ban
If that’s the case tbagging at the exit gate should be a ban
they took my most effective strat: LF camping
and always remember not to take their hate comments to heart. :). playing killer is the hardest thing to do in dead by daylight. and no matter what you do. somebody doesnt think you're good enough. and i mean, no matter what.
Tip #6: If all else fails, main Blight or Nurse.
7:17.... what did we learn today kids??? DROP THE FKN PALLET VS ONI
Absolutely love this video
Whatt??? This is the music of super mario bros!! But i can't remember the name of the game, it was for Gameboy Advance 😎👍
Excellent vid
I want Trapper to crush me. Oh and good video!
In that case, when you start chase, I would consider:
1. Are they in a strong area? (like near a main building or close together loops) If so, look for someone else
2. Did you push them off a gen? (if not, they might want to be chased first on purpose)
If I think I've found a good survivor first, usually I'll just try to force them to drop one pallet, break it, and leave to find other survivors.
@@KillaWhale great advice again thank you. I’m fairly experienced but always struggled with this part of the game.
Killawhale needs more subs
Since people use com Services to coordinate 3/4 survivors against one killer its fair and square to use some of those strats
They should not let the death occur on the hook while the killer is near. I hate campers, it ruins the game I feel
Sometimes your pressure as a killer is created to passive. For example survivors who try so hard to go for a rescue even though they can play it cool and be calm if you are good then you can snow ball the game down every last one of them in an instant well assuming the survivors are all noobs and semi noobs.
- Be me a Legion main
- Injures 3 survivors and downs one
- Practically the rest of the match remain injured
- Gens get done faster
- Wait thats ilegal.jpg
Ah yeah one last thing
- Mad Grit for the bodyblocking, it's more stealthy than starstruck so the more they try to bodyblock, the merrier
to be fair camping 60ft away is "technically" still camping, just not camping the hook. For example instead of camping the hook in azarovs you're camping the middle.
When I play killer my fun is killing at least one person others escaping doesn’t kill my enjoyment and the flashlight used to but I have lightborn now
I’m a killer main and I can always get 3-4 kills per game just by playing with half a brain
Anyone who says dbd is survivor sided has never played solo que survivor and anyone who says it’s killer sided has never played killer against a good SWF
It doesn't matter if most survivors are solo que or casual teams it does not excuse sweat squads from being a detriment to the game's balance.
i got my first kill today :D
Can I have that Meg picture? She is so adorable
I found it here: www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/8uz3fg/knowitall_meg/
@@KillaWhale thank you
What is the background music? It sounds so familiar
I don't usually tunnle camp or slug unless you do something stupid like see me hook a survivor walk two feet and go im getting my buddy now
wait...WTF....i bought this like 4 weeks ago..the tutorial ...didnt tell me i could drop people..no one on youtube said this till now...*flips out and jams her flamberge though a survivors..nose in anger..an storms off *
i can tell you love aura perks
I've noticed that when I play video games in general, not just DBD, I don't think. I'm pretty sure I lack critical thinking skills or game sense lol
You hit them. You just hit them
bro I did tip #5 bc I got mad at a bully squad for trolling me then I lost control to my anger slugged them all t bagged them and said ez in end game chat as ghost face PLUS IN GARDEN OF JOY
Even if you hook 3 survivors
That 1 survivor unhooks every single one of them when you check a gen i lose my mind like im literally lost my mind on this point i literally cried when They popped 3 gens at the same time when i was going to another gen
Me watching this as a 3k hour killer main
You deserve much more subs 10 out a 10
its why I love bully squads
yeah go ahead and tbag click all four of you with head on
there's no gens working
Edit: i literally paused and commented this at the same exact moment you said the same thing LOL
I prefer to have 1 slow down perk like jolt
1:51 joke on you we don’t have in game chat on xbox😂😂
Please make more Michael Scott in DBD in need a second part!!! pleasee
Outro song?
compactor reactor from crash bandicoot
@@KillaWhale thanks bro
