This guide is killer. Can we get a regular "How to Loop" video? I see the best players gliding across walls while I get stuck on them all the time. HOW?!
Ive watched a decent few looping guides and was still never able to fully pick up on all of the optimal directions. Both the diagrams and the way you described the loops (using different descriptors like the non-pallet door or pallet door, some other stuff I'm forgetting) to more clearly indicate which side you enter from REALLY made all of this crystal clear. I also feel like you showed proper clips of you fully running the loop a couple times rather than a partial loop that just shows the structure existing. Best looping guide by MILES. Thank you :)
Killer main here. Came to learn how to anti-loop. Instructions unclear, now I'm a survivor main. 😅 Jokes aside, I've felt like survivors have suddenly become MUCH better at looping, no matter the MMR. @@moonswift300 I think the best thing is to play survivor a lot. When you understand the ins and outs of Survivor brain in DBD, you'll know what to expect and how to read better as killer. I'm a survivor main but sometimes people treat my killer rounds like I was some sort of killer pro haha. Problem is as killer, we don't have a survivor "red-stain" to guide us when trying to catch a survivor. Killer comes down to mind games, and audio cues. The more you know how a survivor plays, the more you'll know how to get em'! Learning one side enhaces the other in this game, imo.
I also wanna add that sometimes holding 'W' as killer is the solution. Survivors will often try and mind-game too much and if you just hold W it throws them WAYYY the F off lol And always remember that these tactics won't always work 100% and that's OKAY! There is no one with a 100% success rate in chases, mind game wins, or techniques. Enjoy your games!

As someone who plays this game religiously, you've earned a like and sub, this a great video I can send forward to some of my friends that have trouble learning how to extend their chases.
Fantastic guide! One note: for palette gyms, you can throw down the palette and use that location as a checkpoint on the side you are standing. You can then vault the palette and run the longest side to bait the killer to move in that direction and return to the palette as a checkpoint. The killer will likely break the palette, but it does stall a bit longer.
A guide in this style on the main buildings would be awesome as well. Dead Dog Saloon has a pretty easy main building to loop but for other maps like Blood Lodge or Temple of Purgation the good lines may not be so easy to see
this is not a regular npc appriciation comment, I genuinely believe this is the best looping guide I have seen (I'm so glad I subscribed when i first watched flash bang tutorial )
Such a great guide! I’m starting to play DBD again after almost two years away, and I totally forgot how to loop, even though I used to be pretty good at it. It’s really frustrating, but with your guide, I’m starting to catch up on looping techniques. TYSM!!

thank you! this actually means so much to me! i went through 10 different scripts and MANY re-recordings of this video to make sure everything was clear and thought through and im so glad that shows :3
Awesome video, thanks for making and sharing it. The Nancy/Trapper clips plus an infographic for each loop was really helpful to see together. I didn’t know the Yamaoka Arbor tile was guaranteed to have a pallet connected to it. But now I do! Lots of other good info too without being overwhelming or too technical. Gonna watch the flashlight saves video next!
That was a great guide! Thank you for summarizing it in such a quick manner, as the 8-hour guides are a little bit hard to process. I small request - could you make a focusing on check-spots for common tiles? Would be really helpfull
This video popped up randomly in my recommended and even though I already know all of this MAN Survivors these days just don’t know how to loop, but this is video was really good and survivors honestly needed to watch it. I really like how it’s visually shows survivors which direction to go. The amount of survivors that just throw down pallets, camp pallets, or don’t know how to chain loop is unbelievable.
Very helpful guide. Do think it could use a few little tweaks in some areas such as pointing out good check spots on the loops so they can learn to adapt to killer positions on the fly. Such as at 10:14 , you take a moment to use a checkspot by looking between the crane and the treads, but don't actually acknowledge that in the actual video contents. Still, very great guide, I'm sure this will be a boon to many newcomers

5:25 with your infographic, i like to run double windows by hanging around the bottom of the J on the left. Then depending on where the killer pushes you, you vault (if left, vault the long window, if right, vault the L window) and look for where the killer goes, where ever they push you, go back to the bottom of the J. There is a major flaw with this, and that is telling whether or not the killer is committing left/right, so just hold VERY tight checkspots.
there are actually two more new Coldwind tiles. one of them resembled the old Autohaven Tetris Gyms on the PTB, but then they changed the window's placement and it's actually really strong now. the other is the actual alternate Coldwind Gym, which spawns the window further from the second shown in the video (which is actually a separate tile). This video was amazing. I have a couple of friends that have just started the game and i feel like i dont explain looping very well. The way you describe it + the visual drawing representation will do amazing. Also, im a shack + T&L lover
There were a few new tiles added to Coldwind. Im so glad you included the one you did. But theres also the one with the haybale in the middle. The two variatioms you mention of the coldwind gyms are actually slightly different gyms all together rather than being variations of eachother. Its hard to explain all of the differences over comments. Sorry. But i really like this video. Its very well put together and doesba great job at showcasing each tile. Ill be sending this to someof my newer friends.
One skill I like to use at the jungle gym is flashlight them while they vault and vault it as they are blinded. Keep in mind that some killers will stand still and look down so use this opportunity to get some distance. Also, be careful at some of the pallet gyms as some killers will hide their red stain. They will sometimes continue to go in the same direction so do not be fooled by that and sometimes just risk running the same direction towards the pallet unless you can angle the camera to see what they are doing. Sometimes pre dropping pallets is a good idea so just fake your going to vault while running around it.
very good video, and we can tell u really put in effort bec of the graphics for all the tiles:) just wanted to say that u can play the 4 wall the same, no matter if the window is on the inside or not, u can still get a fast vault on the window even if its on the outside, it just takes some practice (gotta hug the inner wall and swing your surv into the window, just like on truck)
Nice video. I hope newer players realize that some of these tile names may not be the names people actually give them and vice versa. I personally don't call it "labyrinth gym". We usually use "maze tile" or "maze gym". Also "trash pile gyms" were called "Ormond jungle gyms" or "jungle gym 2" for years; didn't even realize people called it other than that. Also, pallet gyms are better off not even being looped; just pre-drop. This is one of the best looping vids I've thus far seen tho, well done. If you ever make an updated version of this vid, I suggest listing alt names for tiles.
Actual good video liked that it was short, only thing I would suggest is adding in game examples of all ideal pathing on each tile. Best vid I've seen tho thx ❤

Actual good video liked that it was short, only thing I would suggest is adding in game examples of all ideal pathing on each tile. Best vid I've seen tho thx ❤
