That's exactly what I've been working on! Was and am still working on "ultimate juicing guides" that go map by map but they are super long! I'm going to break those down into these shorter videos! I don't want to tell part of the story though, by just showing the best chases and that's what the long guides will still be for! I'm about halfway through those and am going to start doing these for the weekends that a full map guide was not finished yet! I could literally do like one of these a day! They are super easy to make!
There isn't a "proper". Good killers know how to run loops, and so they'll push you in the opposite direction, and so you'll have to change accordingly. No chase is the same to another.
@@gabriele9714 EXACTLY!!! This is the main reason I want to do the shorter, more digestible videos on maps where I already have an "ultimate juicing guide" done! No full story is going to be told with 2 examples, but if I cram-pack as many examples in as I can, the shorter videos end up getting too long and defeat the purpose!
@@Mr_TatorHead Yeah this is good. I mean I can absorb a lot of information but a lot of it is overload. The thumbnail diagram alone spoke more to me then a lot of the other content which I've seen bits of and its good but as I said, it's overload and little of it sticks. I always ran the stairs here and still did okay but the diagram is like 'yeah that is much stronger'. Simple ideas like this which aren't full proof but will aid beginners are much more valuable because it also teaches to look out for themes. Obviously a simple concept is not universal and the killer has answers, especially if they are a certain type but keeping it basic is a good place to start.
That's a great comparison because the sentiment is true! Literally if someone is comfortable with a controller, they can loop like a comp player! It shouldn't take no 4k hours either!
I believe it!! That's such a spot on point 😅😂 I cannot get enough of this type of content, it is accessible and filling from the newbiest to veteran level it is spot on
The message of Gusteau wasn't that any person could cook, as some people are just bad chefs, but rather that a good cook could come from anywhere. Same for DBD.
I wish there were more content creators like you. Friendly, knowledgeable, pure skill. Your tips and advice are so helpful, thank you for this. Despite having 2k hours, I still suck in chases and this information helps a lot.
I appreciate the kind words! I'm ngl I get scared when people call me friendly or skillful. I do like to talk trash occasionally! It's part of the fun of videos games! Always just afraid of making people mad when making fun of 4 slowdowns and a map offering (like the only thing to make fun of killers for 😂) And literally anyone can do anything I can do! Looping really isn't that hard it's mostly just map knowledge!
@@Mr_TatorHead nah, you underestimate yourself. You play without perks which is unthinkable for me. And it's obvious you are friendly and play the game just for fun, not to taunt or torture other people. I wish you all the best!
I fell out of dbd over a year ago because I felt like I wasn’t advancing as a survivor. It felt like the RUclipsrs I was watching had some kind of looping code I couldn’t grasp. Watching this makes me wanna get back into dbd. Would love to see breakdowns like this in the future! Definitely a new subscriber ~
lol opened ur channel 15 seconds later to see your entire channel is like this! You’re about to be the sole reason I start playing again. Gotta get my jump scare reaction in control
I was going to get that playlist for you but I'm glad you found it! I only have about half of the maps done but am going to be breaking those longer guides into shorter, more digestible single loop tip videos! I won't stop doing the longer videos since they tell a more complete story (especially with the additional examples), but these are going to accompany the longer ones! I REALLY hope they help! I think looping on survivor is so mechanically simple compared to what it's normally made out to be and we could constantly have new players at least on the survivor side! I literally think anyone can do anything I ever do and it shouldn't take anywhere near 9k hours to get there! Hoping to get it to a very small fraction of that! I want it to be like 1k hours instead of the traditionally recommended 4k hours before playing at a comp level! At least when it comes to looping!
@@Mr_TatorHead I havnt even been able to play yet, but simply having an understanding of what to do helped me realize what I was doing wrong (running around aimlessly😅) I’m so excited to get back on now! I’ll keep you updated on how the games go!
These shorter videos are amazing, I discovered your channel 2 days ago and you've already become one of my favourite DbD RUclipsrs. In such a short time I've already put to work some of your guides in real matches like the Gideon exit gate loop, and I learn so much from every video. You've really found an amazing niche on RUclips with these specific loop guides
I REALLY want these to help!!! I know loads of people that are afraid to start dbd because survivor "looks too sweaty" and "takes too long to learn" and I'm like the "hardest part" of learning survivor is mechanically super easy! I think we could always have new people coming to try out dbd! Thank you for the incredibly kind words mate! I have TONS of guides to make and won't stop until they are all done!
No problem! Wish I had more of these done tbh! I like having the full map guides done so they can be referenced with more examples but want to break things down into single loop videos to simplify things and make them more digestible! Got over half of those full ones done and just starting these off! Got them all in this playlist if that's what ya need! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
I watched this today and later the same day I had a Leather Face tunnel me from the beginning. I did the loop you showed at the beginning and he couldn’t catch me at all! He ended up giving up on me. I consider myself bad with loops and it’s not pleasant being tunneled, so I appreciate these videos a lot.
That's GREAT!!! I hope it was fun! You'll start wanting to get tunneled on this one and certain other maps as you start picking up on the main loops, then suddenly you are running right towards the most unsafe loops on the map just because they are hilarious to try to run!
Killer mains, this is a perfect example of what not to do. Chasing someone around and around is wasting your time, giving them time to repair gens, and making you frustrated. Break off and go find a gen to kick, hopefully you'll find a survivor there too. Use your time smart, not running around in circles.
The funniest thing about the 2v8 is watching killers play just like how you suggested! They don't waste their time on one survivor too long since there are so many others to chase! But in the 1v4 it's a different story 😂
My ADHD fights me on this sometimes. But I tend to switch off to someone else as long as I get an injury off, because that then forces them to go heal. And I'm a Dracula main, I also worked on wesker before the new chapter. I'm fairly new to DbD.
@@Terraflare94 I would argue even if you eat a pallet during the chase it is successful. That's one less pallet they can use against you in the future, making escape more difficult.
@@nexttytreporter2598 yeah, especially if running sylph feather that's just 5% faster hellfire cools down. I've seen that some add-ons and perks benefit for breaking them.
It's always happy hour in dead dawg saloon! I'll be honest I feel like the worst map offering to see from the killer is Gideon meat plant. The killers that do well on that map are borderline OP on it 😂
goes without saying but you are hands-down the best survivor teacher on youtube. practical advice that works immediately, which fosters an innate desire to keep learning, rather than following some other general looping guide > it rarely works the way it's shown in the video > give up. tatorhead content is THE king of survivor buffs. give me a megaphone and i'll say it again louder
I'm glad they are working! This shit is hilarious and we could constantly have new players trying out survivor if it didn't seem so intimidating to try out, especially if they are coming from other games or even non pvp games! Survivor could make a great first pvp game for that since literally just pathing well can do so much! Can take a friend into a custom that has never played before, show them this Saloon loop, use a map offering and even do loop with friends in the Saloon! Suddenly that brand new player is "juicing" on their first match! I truly appreciate the incredibly kind words mate! It means a ton for you to take the time to write!
IMO this is the best looping guides anyone has ever created. YOu explain it in both when there is no danger and while you are being chased as well instead of showing just a clip to loop like this. You definitely earned my sub. Keep up the good job!
These are some incredibly kind words mate thank you I appreciate ya! I'm a visual learner so I would need as many examples as possible for these! But thats the good thing about having the longer videos with all the examples showing the mistakes/outplays that can happen as well as the shorter ones like these that can basically just show the potential! Thank you mate and will do! Got TONS more on the way!
I mostly play killer and survivor evenly, but wanted to learn better how to loop killers when I play survivor. Gotta say thanks for this guide! I’ve now had multiple killers leave me on this loop even with multiple mistakes, it’s that strong. Gonna absolutely sub and follow the rest of your guides
Thanks mate I appreciate ya and I'm glad these are helping! Wish I had more vids for ya but I got TONS more on the way! Always felt like you can just show someone something on dbd and it could immediately help since it's never really hard mechanically (at least on survivor). It also makes things on killer more tolerable so it doesn't feel like a bunch of stuff is coming out of nowhere, you already know what's happening and whether it's worth committing to or not!
You're right at the perfect amount of hours! The general consensus seems to be that around 4k hours is necessary to loop at a comp level, but mechanically it's very simple! I think if explained properly, and with some practice, looping should take about 500-1k total hours to really get/understand! Just takes forever by the trial and error method! And thanks for the kind words mate! I have LOTS more videos to make!
Probably already mentioned before, but your shorter vids are INSANELY helpful! Just learning 1-2 main loops from you has been helping me tremendously. I don't have the time to watch your longer vids than I used to, so these are definitely very much appreciated! Just had a game giving a Huntress a saloon tour for approx. 3-4 minutes, while absolutely laughing my lungs out all thanks to you! Keep up the solid work, and looking forward to more vids in the future!!
Im happy to hear it! This shit is hilarious! It's always happy hour in dead dawg saloon! Am gonna have all the important know-hows for every map in smaller single loop vids eventually! I like having the longer ones done first so I can have them to reference but once all those are finished I could do like one of these a day practically!
I love that you explained the majority of the video in just the thumbnail alone, obviously it’s not nearly as detailed as the video but I just think it’s cool how you explained the loop with just two sentences
I LOVE this guide. It shows it very well with good PRACTICE examples. Doesnt matter if its made with a good friend or a real Killer. Its the best Looping guide so far I have ever seen. THANK YOU!! very much! Greetings from germany, i will show that to my friends who arent that experienced in looping. Hope to see more guides like this, also other maps and (last but not least) the Shack. Its kinda confusing how to use the shack correcktly. I remember myself watching videos and stood there more confused than before watching
Thanks for the incredibly kind words mate I appreciate it! I used to have a friend, "YaboiMLT" on twitch, be afk while I ran my mouth, but now I own dbd on the switch as well so I can just be afk myself on the switch! The examples will always be from match-made games! I highlight almost every survivor game I play on twitch so when I say I could literally make a looping guide for any tile or any map and have examples, I literally could! I have been working on just that! I have about half of the maps done in Full-guide format where it goes over every tile, as well as strong rng with as many examples as possible! I am also breaking those down into shorter single tile videos which is what these are! I can do these basically at a moments notice while I also work on the longer guides! I have all the guide videos in one playlist! Here it is! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
Knight is rough but if they try to cut you off the other window, you can use the long rock between the bottom window and back stairs to turn it around and grab the flag! No guarantees that would work but there are plays still possible! That's what makes dbd fun! Theres pretty much always something one of the parties can do!
i’d say just start slow walking & break the loop especially if you hadn’t broken it at all during chase. he’s just place his guards where ever you had been running.
@@salvarsal i’m a survivor main but i’ve played knight before, while he’s setting guards down he can only hear you (your footsteps & breathing) so slow walk away from where you were last seen.
The #1 source of DbD advice on youtube. I'm almost caught up on all your map tutorials you've made me a much stronger player and your channel is the only one that has taught me anything after becoming a high skill survivor.
Those are some SUPER kind words mate! I truly appreciate them! I literally think anyone can do anything I can when it comes to looping and shouldn't take more than like 1k hours! Forget the 9k I'm sitting at right now 😂
@@Mr_TatorHead For sure, only thing mechanical for looping is hugging walls and looking behind you. Rest is knowledge and you give a lot of that in ways that other youtube videos don't. I knew I found a gold mine of advice when I saw how long you spent talking about small tiles the first time I found one of your vids.
@@gloob4742 I truly appreciate the kind words mate! It's also great inspiration/motivation to get them all done! I wish they were so theyd be ready to help peeps!
I need to spend my free time just watching your videos. I just found your stuff a few days ago and it's already positively effected my ability when playing survivor. Thank you for your hard work!
I have been playing DBD something like 2500 hours and I found that my looping skills had really plataued. I watched your Lery's video recently then finally had a chance to put it into practice today and ended up keeping the killer busy for almost 2 minutes. When he finally got me the entire team had reset and pressured 2 gens with 1 of them popping. I wanted you to know that your tutorials are easy to understand and to use right away!
This is GREAT to hear! I'm glad everything is helping! Looping is literally just running in the right circles and stopping at the right places yet there seems to be an infinite amount of info to be learned and plays to make! Can't tell you how many times while playing killer, you'll see a survivor playing like they have 4 hours, then accidentally do something brilliant and your just like WTF HOW HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT!? 😂
Really well made video, not many people make such straight forward yet in depth guides on running loops like this. The example footage was also a really nice touch.
Thanks mate! Looping is truly as mechanically simple as running in the right circles and stopping at the right spot! Literally anyone can do anything I ever do! Shouldn't take no 9k hours neither!
That's the best part about that window is a lot of people forget it exists! It might play a part in killers committing to it tbh! Like if you run right up to the strong window they might leave because they know how much time will be wasted, but if you run to the strong window theyre like PSSHHH EASY HIT...only to get caught chasing for 5 minutes 😂 Thanks for the kind words mate! I will not stop until all the guides are made!
@Mr_TatorHead YESSS! Preferably the shorter 5 - 20 minute ones though, don't have the time to watch 3 hours on 1 specific map haha but still love the content and its awesome how you replied already!
@@Crumbtis Am definitely going to be doing more of these shorter ones to accompany the longer ones going forward! I like having the longer ones to reference for when you get the inevitable "well what do you do against this or that killer huh?!" comments, because if I get too specific with too many examples, it defeats the purpose of these being shorter, more digestible videos! Basically am going to completely break down the more useful parts of the longer guides like this video here! Eventually I could easily do multiple shorter tip videos like these a week! And yeah I work at a dispensary on the weekends and its pretty slow! been answering comments on my phone!... don't tell my manager 😂
Yo this type of content is SO GOOD!! Brother you've found yourself something special and i hope you find great success with your content. I'm a big fan and this breakdown reignited my love for this map lol
Ayyy this is the best thing to hear and I appreciate it! Saloon still my favorite map! This map/game in general never stops being hilarious! Anyone can have this much fun and it def shouldn't take no 9k hours, or anywhere near the 4k hours that's always recommended to be able to loop well!
No problem and that's GREAT to hear!!! I always think playing killer is definitely harder, and takes more focus despite being more instinctive upon picking up killer, so it's always funny watching a great killer jump on survivor and watch them not really do that well despite survivor being easier to play (imo).
@@Mr_TatorHeadI was definitely that killer player who couldn’t run anybody on survivor when I tried it 😂 but you make the process very approachable, and now I have a much better game plan as survivor!
@@Toshiro-dono I'll keep em rolling! Gonna do these shorter videos in tandem with the long ones! Don't wanna leave anything out but ain't nobody get 6 whole hours to pay attention to a guide 🤣
this guide has earned you a sub my guy! Im pretty good but having a better knowledge on this all is just infinitly made it more fun to play thank you Tator
Thanks mate I appreciate it! Got TONS more on the way too! And EXACTLY!! This game is simple if shown where to run and stop! but takes literal thousands of hours figuring it out by trial and error!
If you are talking about the saloon I do have that one out already! although it was like the 2nd one I made and I want to remake it! Everything in that guide is valid, but I have much more examples, a slight better example of the rng, as well as a fair chunk of killers have been released since that was made coming up on like 2 years ago! I've also gotten better at actually making the guides! Thanks for the kind words mate! I do have LOTS more on the way!
As a mostly killer main i love that these videos are being made for survivors. I feel like their has been an influx of new players and i find myself simply stopping because they run back into me trying to loop. Hope your videos gets out more!
Thanks mate and me too! The game might literally be easier to balance if all this stuff was common knowledge! Everything you said is exactly what these are for! Looping is literally as simple as running in the right circles and stopping in the right places! Shouldn't take thousands of hours to be able to pull off!
i’m at 800+ hours in DBD & still find myself not looping strong tiles right, I find myself behind dead zone walls where I have no idea where killer is this helps a lot dude
Looping is just running in the right circles and stopping in the right place! It's super simple! Just takes forever when there are 40+ maps and a shit ton of tiles! Once you know it all its basically like playing cards or flipping coins! Obviously a bit more than that but just the chance taking aspect! Tryna cut down on that time as much as possible! We could always have more people playing this game if it didn't seem like such a large commitment to play decently!
Thanks for the super kind words mate I appreciate it! I'm glad these are helping! I wish I had a guide for every map for ya! And it makes it a LOT less frustrating on killer particularly when you know they have another window around the corner, as opposed to chasing them then its like THEY HAVE ANOTHER EFFING WINDOW??? 😂
thank god youre finally not doing 5hr uploads lmao, always liked the content but with loops such as this one that i don't need to learn it always sucked filtering through those vids for my weaker loops.
right?! Those take forever to make! I will still be doing those but I am going to be breaking those down into shorter videos like these so they are easily digestible! The majority of the videos coming out are going to be shorter videos like these but I definitely want a longer video to tell the full story! I can make these in a heartbeat in comparison and because of that these will always be rolling out!
I just heard! He actually came by the stream the other day! I was an idiot and thought it was an imposter at first 😂 Also THANK YOU SO MUCH! That all happened so fast the last few weeks! Gotta start getting another subscriber special ready! although I have plans for those! Have a LOT of killers dcing from a chase, and since those don't really go anywhere since I don't usually make that type of content, I think it'd be great for special occasion type videos! Kind of like the "5 gen chases for 5k subscribers" type of thing!
@@gunnah5687 Thanks for the kind words! I got LOTS more coming! Gonna keep doing the longer guides but do one of these shorter guides per week while working on those longer ones!
Once you get the hang of it its pretty easy! I wish there was a way for survivors to walk around maps in custom games by themselves and practice them! It would help loads! Theres a few VERY difficult running vaults to get that I could literally never get enough practice on (like top of brownstone on badham, the small boat on pale rose, the green house room on disturbed ward while coming down the stairs etc) One thing that does help, is waiting to press the vault button until you are a bit closer to the window!
Yo Otz mentioned you in his most recent video and I'm so glad he did. I'm finally trying to get better at looping instead of being scared of getting into a chase and this seems to be the perfect channel for that :D This is super helpful. Thanks for making these!
So i did this with a friend of mine, and the windows blocked after a few loops because I never lost chase and I tried to run it as tight as possible. They told me that I'd have to LOS while walking to prevent the vaults from getting blocked. honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong
No problem! Glad they are helping! Peeps always say it should take like 4k hours to be able to loop well but I really only think it should take a few hundred hours total! Anyone can do anything I can and it shouldn't take 9k hours to get there neither!
i hate when my teammates do the main building gen among the first, because then the kiler has no reason to ever commit to a chase there anymore, generaly for some reason many players commit to the gens that have the most defense first, leaving only either the open area in the back of the gallows or in front of the saloon
This is kind of what balances the map! Most people consider this a killer sided map! I think it is one of the more balanced maps in the game and is definitely my favorite! I plan on doing a few more shorter videos over time about different things you can do there, and will probably remake the full saloon guide, since the full guides have gotten a lot more specific since that one was made! ...vs maps like disturbed ward and sanctum of wrath, where they are both big maps with a guaranteed generator in the middle of the main building that is in the middle of the map, so getting the gen done is beneficial to the team with little chance for a 3 gen setup!
you could say the same for pretty much all main buildings except for like ormond because to get to most main gens the killer has to really go out of their way
@@tylerwhitehawk1544 Exactly! I literally think its for the purpose of being an in-game base kit anti-tunneling mechanic! Where the killer would waste too much time, chasing at a strong tile where the gen is already done, away from the gens they should be guarding!
Hey I just found your channel recently and I find that a lot of your tutorials are very elaborate and straightforward. Just wanted to say thanks and I look forward to more of it.
If you actually want to be chased here, that seems to be the magic question! This loop REALLY helps v tunneling since the killer would be throwing to chase, but if wanting attention here you pretty much gotta hold w in the direction of the Saloon every time the killer looks at you! Don't do that if he drops chase to chase someone on death hook though! Gotta take that aggro for the death hook teammate!
@@ttv.mike_wavy Solo queue be like that sometimes! The amount of games where getting tunneled, run a safe loop like this for 2 minutes, killer gives up, then you run around for 3 minutes still injured looking for a teammate to heal you, then end up running into the killer, still injured, then get downed. Then left on hook 😂 Literally had the exact game I am describing happen 2 days ago 😂
had to sub after this. super well-made video, i learned sm from that first simple loop. i don't get saloon often but it always feels like the one map i get caught off guard often on.
Thanks mate! Even thought this loop is only on this map I still think it's the best first one to learn! Just eases into the fundamentals of looping and they're very simple! also you can bring a map offering for Saloon and the killer won't hate you for it! Most killers absolutely love this map!
Always felt that nothing a single survivor could do could really like "shit" on the killer, especially mechanically. But theres definitely a fair amount of killers that can "shit" on survivors, especially mechanically!
Thank you so much for these videos. I've been playing for a couple years, and I'm alright but I definitely feel like I've plateaued a lot in skill due to me not having these type of pre-meditated gameplans in my arsenal. I've tried to learn some of the common tiles/gyms but I always feel like I'm playing it by ear when it comes to map specific stuff. I was definitely running saloon wrong the whole time! I hope that you continue to go through more maps and outline optimal loops, checkpoints, and counterplays. It really helps a lot and you're great at explaining!:)
Nothing in this game is explained really at all game-play wise especially on survivor! Despite it being so easy to play it takes forever to pick up since you basically bang your head against the wall seeing what works, and you might not get a chance to try to correct that mistake since theres like 40 maps! But once you know where to run, which direction to run, and where to stop suddenly you're "juicing" when it really is that simple! Literally anyone can do anything I can on survivor and I've got like 9k hours! Should never take anywhere near that long but trial and error takes a while 😂 I have actually been working on full map guides! I've got about 20 done, and am now going to be breaking them down into smaller, more digestible videos like these! I've only got like 5 of these shorter ones done but am definitely going to be making many more of these as well going forward to pair them with the full guides! I like having the full guides because they tell the full story and have many more examples! but putting a bunch more examples in the shorter guide would defeat the purpose of being it being shorter! Heres the playlist with all of them! And there are LOTS more to come! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
@@Mr_TatorHead Thanks for the thoughtful response! I'm around 850 hours, had burnout 1-2 years ago and very recently started at it again. Your videos make me inspired to play again. You're definitely right that the typical learning process for DbD is brute force. It can also be really difficult to learn quickly in this game because when you're put into those situations, it very quickly turns into panic and it could be hours before you get a similar situation in the same map again. I can't think of many other games where people with over 1000 hours still feel like beginners sometimes haha I like the longer format too. But I could see the shorter content really help your channel grow too! And it's very digestible which is nice. When I saw all the several hour long guides on your channel I was seriously so excited to have so much educational content to go through. Thanks again, for sharing the playlist and doing what you do!
@@TheGlitchedUpGlitch Thank you for the even more thoughtful response! That's the funny thing about dbd, especially while playing killer, you'll see a survivor accidentally do something that most survivors wouldn't be doing consciously for thousands of hours! But that's just how simple looping really is! Just run running in the correct circles! Always gonna come down to some 50/50s but you can minimize how many 50/50s there even are! Someone suggested doing these shorter videos actually and I like the Idea! I believe they said "When r u gonna make shorter vids and farm subs?" 🤣 Not gonna stop making the longer ones though! They def also help me counter the "THIS WONT WORK IN REAL MATCHES" So you can have a video already made of it working 30 times! I don't blame them though for saying stuff like that tbh! There is definitely a LOT of clickbait out there. I appreciate it though mate!
It's not as bad as that ghostface made it look! It is definitely not an infinite if the killer paths efficiently, and if the killer has you in chase before you get a single vault, and paths efficiently, you won't get 3 laps out of the cookie cutter and will have to switch it up a bit! Also the killer literally never has to chase the Saloon! There isn't a gen on the back of it or anything so defending the Saloon gen is completely unecessary!
It is super simple! Almost every tile in the game is simple and easy to run! Problem is there are like 1k tiles in the game 😂 One tile at a time! Then suddenly playing survivor is as easy as it should be!
appreciate this video. i had kind of accepted my fate as a gen jockie who would always eventually die to the killer bc im not good at looping, but this video is extremely helpful. definitely got a new subscriber here !!
Thanks mate! I wish I had more of these shorter videos for ya but I got TONS more on the way! Have been working on full map guides just like this but going over every tile and all the different ways to loop them with more examples and making these shorter more digestible versions of them. Omg! I wish I had found your channel much sooner! I’ve almost given up up on dbd due to the tunnelers and campers, but learning these techniques will be so great to go against the endless amount of tunnelers that we get. I just might learn to love this game again. I’d love to see a video like this for every map! Thanks so much for making this helpful video. It can definitely help with the tunneling. 🙌🙌
This game is hilarious when you know where to run! You will want to get tunneled and the killer will be leaving you because it will waste too much time! I have been working on full map guides which are way longer and have over half of the maps done! This is a shortened version of the breakdown on the Saloon main building! I do plan on completely breaking down all the fuller map guides into videos like this eventually! But there is no way to tell the complete story of a loop with an abbreviated version with just a few examples, but they need to be that way to be more digestible! So I'm working on both going forward! All the ones I have done, and the future ones are in this playlist right here! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL

@@Toadhouse2003 I want to remake the Saloon guide for this reason! When I made the Saloon guide, I had just started highlighting matches for these guides so I didn't have much footage of any of the rest of the map! But the Water Tower area with that tiny little window is pretty good! Connecting whatever building spawns next to shack to shack window works pretty well, the town area with like 3 house tiles in a row is always a good connect especially with the 2 window tile with the pallet or the Log House tile! Good luck! And may the loops be with you!
No problem! I appreciate the kind words! So many things can pass by unnoticed! Especially if just coming home from work loading up some video games just to have fun instead of trying to improve every little thing! But learning the stuff does make it more fun in chase!
Gotta have examples! It's the reason these shorter videos will almost always be on maps that I have a full map guide for! You can never tell the whole story in 1-2 examples, but if you pile in as many as you can, it defeats the purpose of having shorter more digestible guides!
Thanks mate! I have TONS more on the way! And about half of the full map breakdowns done! These are the shorter, more digestible versions of those longer walkthroughs!
No problem! Killer is much more difficult to play but is much more instinctive! Learning the maps one loop at a time is the way to go! I always thought it was funny watching a great killer then switch to survivor, which is much easier imo, then have no idea where to run or what to do! But that's most of what survivor is! Literally just knowing what direction to run and where to stop!
My man, I have about 1k hours in DBD, main survivor, and I didn't know how strong that loop was. As others have mentioned, a lot of content creators don't explain this kind of stuff, and it's great information for those who want to get even better. Keep up the good work!
That's the funniest and coolest thing about dbd! It's super simple mechanically, but seemingly infinite knowledge! And because it's so simple mechanically you can pretty much learn from anyone or anywhere! I really think anyone can do anything I ever do on survivor and we could have way more people having fun playing! Just gotta make all the guides! And thanks for the kind words mate I appreciate ya! Got TONS more of these on the way!
I've been playing dbd for 1k hours and your videos could have helped me if I just played 200 hours and not waste 800 hours of losing chases. Bless you sir!
1k hours is exactly how long it should take! It's expected to take about 4k hours to play at a comp level but looping is so mechanically simple it really should take a fraction of that time! I wish I had all the map guides and loop tips done for everyone to reference! There is loads more on the way!
Thank you so much for this video. This video is incredibly useful for both killer and survivor players. If you are killer and see someone ruining this loop, just leave them. If you are survivor, run the loop.
Thanks for the kind words mate! and no problem! also, EXACTLY!!!! The best part is the killer pretty much never has to chase in the Saloon since there is no need to guard that gen! It actually balances the rest of the map out since most people view this map as a killer sided map!
Thanks mate! Got lots of those! Most of the ones finished are full map guides (VERY long versions of these some are like 6 hours long 😂) and these are the shorter more digestible single loop breakdowns from those! Got over 20 of the full map guides done and about 5 of these shorter ones done! They are all in a playlist! Here is that playlist - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
Man, the first bit about looping being the best defense against tunneling is so true. A) it's so much fun by itself and B) it allows you to replace anti-tunnel perks with fun stuff like Head on + Flashbang to get even more fun.
I'm glad they're helping! There are lots of peeps that could get into dbd but won't because it looks like it would take too long! Gonna be using comments like this to peer pressure them into trying it 😂 Thanks for the kind words tho mate! Truly means a lot.
Yooo men, i remembered it. In Shuffle mode i had a nasty doctor and he lost me 2-3 times in that building XD I looped i guess for a total of over 7 min in that tile and i LOVED it. Again tank u so much haha
Ayyyy you had a full happy hour in dead dawg Saloon! Those stairs don't do doctor any favors for his anti-loop power 😂 Glad to hear you're havin fun! Anyone can do anything I ever do and better than I can tbh! Shouldn't take all these hours to get there neither! And no problem! Got TONS more on the way!
Just found your channel and man it’s so helpful. I wish you had some killers to show the double backs/dynamic examples you describe, but I understand it can be difficult to align and regardless the content is super valuable. Keep it up!
Thanks mate! I appreciate it! Someone suggested that I bring a flashlight to click and point at things to clarify further and that is a great idea! I am going to be doing that forward and I hope it makes things more clear!
There really should be! For months my friend YaboiMLT was running around the map while I ran my yap until dbd went on sale for the switch then I could sit afk on killer myself! I'm glad these are helping and got LOTS more on the way!
I forgot to mention the main part about why it would be the best first loop and its because it's great to do with friends! But to be fair I should probably get some group "happy hour" efforts but you can literally have multiple people getting chase by the killer at the same time with saloon and kinda hold a new players hand through the chase while also getting chased 😂 Guess I'll just have to make another video about that one day 😂
If you get frustrated about tunneling, i can give you a good tipp too- just play killer 90% of the time youre in the game and do this for 5-6months and you will get a complete different perspective on the game, for sure. Good video and well explained how you can use this mainbuilding in different scenarious
EXACTLY! But more importantly they have to play and try to win! Can always play killer and work on the power to get better while not caring about winning, but playing to win means you will have to tunnel sometimes and theres nothing wrong with that! Same with slugging and camping! Trapper puts someone in the basement is he supposed to put no traps down and completely leave the area? 😂 Thanks mate! I appreciate it!
No problem! I want to start not only giving updates to things, but also break down all those super long guides into shorter versions like this so they can be easily digestible! That way its not like "I want to learn that map but don't have 6 effing hours to do so" 😂
That's a good thing if you didn't want to be tunneled or chased! It's a bad thing if you just wanted to have fun looping the Saloon! 😂 I'm glad it's helped! I always thought this stuff was common knowledge until recently!
been playing since 2018 (killer mostly), love this vid though. Hope for more vids for main buildings esp. great vid for those of us not very good at survivor to help understand good paths in large loop areas
I've been working on full map guides! I was going to have problems doing a short video on a loop with a small amount of examples as that would never tell the whole story! Those guides are very long though and I wanted to break those down into shorter more digestible videos once a full guide for that map was done! I've got like half of the full map guides done and they (along with the short ones) are in this playlist here! I plan on continuing both the short guides and longer guides until they are all finished! Here is the playlist! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
In my experience going up the stairs and hitting that fast vault is actually easier for a lot of people than coming from the outside. Really just about running diagonally from top of stairs. I'd definitely encourage players to learn both. More options more better. I also really like you hitting on the topic of checkspots (you called them checkpoints in video). If soloq survivors got those down, killers lives are infinitely more difficult haha. Solid video man
The more they learn the better! I have been working on full map guides that go over every tile and many of the different ways that they can be looped but I'm definitely never going to be able to cover every single way! I have to go remake the Saloon guide at some point anyway since it was one of the first full map guides I made and they go MUCH more in detail than they did when I made that one! Lerys too! Started making these ones as shorter more digestible versions of those to simplify things as much as possible! I only got like 5 of these though, but I could literally make like one of these a day once the full ones are finished! Got those all in one spot and its where they're all gonna go in the future which this playlist! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
Omg I tried it, but since I was just learning it I wasn’t good enough but my teammates managed to repair one generator, so yeah it works!!! Thank you very much!!
It'll get more familiar and be like the back of your hand! Then it'll be good ol happy hour on dead dawg Saloon! And no problem! Got TONS more like this on the way!
Thanks mate I really appreciate it! Hope these help ya have some more fun on surv! Playin surv is hilarious and shouldn't take thousands of hours for it to be that way!
@@Mr_TatorHead im always waiting for new vids from u, you have really made it much more fun to play and your videos are fun to watch, they got into detail. I also would like to think i am improving because of you, a huge Thank you!
Most main buildings have things like this although may not be as strong, but on a bigger map to compensate, or more complex with different possible setups and rng! Thanks for the kind words mate! I have LOTS more on the way!
I have actually been going map by map and doing the whole map like this but more in detail! I have over half of the maps done! Although I want to re-do the Saloon guide and the Lerys guide since they were earlier ones I made and while the info still holds true, the guides have gotten much more in depth and I have more examples and a better understanding of some of the rng! Those guides are seriously long (Midwich guide is 6 hours!) but broken into chapters where the individual chapters work kind of like this shortened version but with MANY more examples of chases afterwards! I wanted to break those down into more digestible guides that people would actually have time to watch! Here is the playlist with all the guides (short and long!) - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
No problem! Looping is super easy but takes FOREVER to learn where to run by trial and error! It's one of the only pvp games I have ever seen that someone can tell you something simple like run to that window and turn left and it actually works! then it's hilarious the longer it goes on 😂
Heard about you in Otzdarva's stream a couple days ago, but completely forgot your name 😭 I'm glad RUclips's algorithm helped me find you!!! Very helpful&informative content
Just met him a few days ago! Didn't know I was being mentioned or anything! He just came by the stream and said nice things! I wasn't sure if it was real otzdarva or not but I asked and it was! JRM had come by the stream like 2 days before and I thought it was fake JRM so when otz came I straight up asked right away 😂
Very informative video which I appreciate. But the real secret sauce was you laughing like a deranged chipmunk while Ghostface chased you around the saloon. Coupled with the SMW music it was just hysterical to me for some reason :D
Thanks for the kind words mate I appreciate em! Am glad the obnoxiousness doesn't get in the way tbh! I'm not exactly in "study" mode while actually playing so the change of pace from the walkthroughs to the examples could potentially be a HUGE distraction! Also hadn't heard the SMW credits song in YEARS and wasn't the intended song at first, but it was WAY too fitting!
I appreciate it mate! I do put as much work as I can into them! If I could edit every single chase to make them funnier I would! 😂 Dead Dawg is still my fav map on survivor! It's always happy hour there! The town has a lot of fun tiles too!
Great video. I didnt realise that infinite was lesser known, Ive been running it since my brother showed me it near release. Its why I dont understand when people say the map is killer sided, this loop uses no resources and is easily available to everyone.
Thanks mate! I appreciate it! and exactly! I always assumed more people knew about this (and others) but when people didn't really it was time to do some educating! We could always have new people playing dbd if they didn't think it would take 4k hours to be able to loop well in most scenarios!
Thanks mate! I assume no one has ever heard of me tbh 😂 I need to make more vids! This is a smaller part of a series where I was going through all the maps one at a time and going tile by tile, but those are hard to digest when they are like 5 hours long! These are shortened, single tile videos with few examples (as opposed to like 15 examples per tile) and will go hand in hand with the longer guides! I will not stop the longer guides until there is one for every map! Heres the playlist with the rest of them if you are interested! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
Omg I tried the loop earlier today cause I was sent to dead dawg saloon and let me tell you, I almost never succeed with every chase but THIS LOOP!? The killer probably wasted 5 minutes chasing me and even blocked the window several times while my teammates successfully completed all the genes! I got 30k points on my match and that’s like the longest successful chase I’ve ever had!! So tysm for this ✨
Ayyyy LOVE hearing stories like this! Best part about this loop is it is big enough to run with a friend! Can teach it to them, bring a map offering the killer won't hate you for, and just kinda hang out near Saloon with your friend and try to get the killer to chase both of you! Call it Happy Hour! And its always happy hour in dead dawg saloon! 😂
I would watch a 30 video series on these. No creators really explain the proper way to run these loops like this.
No full story is going to be told with 2 examples, but if I cram-pack as many examples in as I can, the shorter videos end up getting too long and defeat the purpose!
right i have like 1k hrs and didnt know this smh
You are like that Gusteau guy from Ratatouille. "Anyone can cook" he said!
That's a great comparison because the sentiment is true! Literally if someone is comfortable with a controller, they can loop like a comp player! It shouldn't take no 4k hours either!
I believe it!! That's such a spot on point 😅😂
I cannot get enough of this type of content, it is accessible and filling from the newbiest to veteran level it is spot on
@@donu720 I appreciate it mate! I'll keep them rolling out!
The message of Gusteau wasn't that any person could cook, as some people are just bad chefs, but rather that a good cook could come from anywhere. Same for DBD.
@@midoriiiii34 EXACTLY! That is applicable to SO many things in life! Never expected "Ratatouille" to be so philosophical!
Legend has it that that Ghostface is still chasing Mr TatorHead around that loop to this day.
Happy hour in Saloon became the neverending story 😂
@@Mr_TatorHead You need to edit in the Benny Hill music
@@brian130 I tried using that on another video! I got a copyright notification and it scared me although it wasn't a strike 😂
At 2k and u cant run u gotta be room temp iq
@@pinkeynb I hope they go better for you! Goodluck!
dude i'd love to play with youuu.
The real pain is looping the killer for 10 minutes without a single gen being touched.
Yup that can be solo queue sometimes! The hardest part about a 5 gen chase is the gens actually getting done!
Bruh I felt this in my soul
A much better first loop to learn than the usual "run to z wall in the corner of the map, vault, lithe away"! Spectacular work as usual, brother!
and then name the video "looping killer at z wall for 5 gens" 😂
Thanks for the kind words mate! I truly appreciate them!
Im a killer main. Please take this down

Nah I got a better idea as a hunk main: learn these survivor strategies so it’ll be amazing when you outplay them. 👍 At least it’s what I believe
@@MercenaryOrangeTVa HUNK main 😂😂. Like Legion’s intimidating at all and not one of the worst killers in the game

Insanely help @@Mr_TatorHead

Otz just recommended you, this is exactly what I was searching for a long amount of time, great explanations. Thanks!
No problem! Wish I had more of these done tbh! I like having the full map guides done so they can be referenced with more examples but want to break things down into single loop videos to simplify things and make them more digestible!
Ever since you made the full guide for this map I haven't been scared to see a Dead Dawg map offering from the killer.
It also makes things on killer more tolerable so it doesn't feel like a bunch of stuff is coming out of nowhere, you already know what's happening and whether it's worth committing to or not!
im a killer main with 400 hours, and started to play as survivors too and your channel and playstile is the best to learn gg
@@Mr_TatorHeadCouldnt agree more honestly, glad i found ur channel bro.
EXACTLY!!!!! Looping is SUPER simple! Once the loops are known the mind games begin but it should not take all these thousands of hours to get here!

It’s all fun and games until the knight places down an assassin
Knight is rough but if they try to cut you off the other window, you can use the long rock between the bottom window and back stairs to turn it around and grab the flag! No guarantees that would work but there are plays still possible! That's what makes dbd fun! Theres pretty much always something one of the parties can do!

Thanks! I always did it the opposite way taught to me by someone else but this def does seem way more effective. Great video!
Running up to the main window works...but this works better! And thanks mate! I appreciate it!
I forgot that window even existed, love these type of videos Tatorhead, please make more!
That's the best part about that window is a lot of people forget it exists! It might play a part in killers committing to it tbh! Like if you run right up to the strong window they might leave because they know how much time will be wasted, but if you run to the strong window theyre like PSSHHH EASY HIT...only to get caught chasing for 5 minutes 😂
Thanks for the kind words mate!
And yeah I work at a dispensary on the weekends and its pretty slow! been answering comments on my phone!... don't tell my manager 😂
ghostie going to stand in and stare at the corner after letting you go cracked me up 😂
Wish I had an item to give em! But I guess I crawled out so wouldn't have been able to give it to him 😂
Yo this type of content is SO GOOD!!
Getting you in my recommended vids now on RUclips is great. I actually have learnt so much from this alone. Thank you!
This is great to hear! Gonna be having a LOT more of these on the way!
@@Mr_TatorHead so excited for it
thank you for the shorter video!! my silly adhd always gets distracted when i watch the longer videos so this type is very helpful!
No Problem mate! Gonna basically break the longer ones down into shorter ones like this while also doing the longer ones still!
I played this map 100 times and never learned this. I always use the upper Window 🤦♂ very helpful, thank you
Ran by it myself a large number of times! Enjoy happy hour on Saloon!
Thanks to your Dead Dawg Saloon Guide, I got the chance to show a bunch of killer players that loop, too 😎 Thanks Mr Tatorhead
This game is simple if shown where to run and stop! but takes literal thousands of hours figuring it out by trial and error!
definitely subbing and will be keeping my eye out for that ultimate juicing guide, great video! :)
We could always have more people playing this game if it didn't seem like such a large commitment to play decently!
you are genuinely the goat with all these map guides, really helps with my survivor skills as I am a killer main
@@Mr_TatorHead exactly!
thank god youre finally not doing 5hr uploads lmao, always liked the content but with loops such as this one that i don't need to learn it always sucked filtering through those vids for my weaker loops.
Tator you got a shout out from otz! Finally So many people can see how amazing these guides are, and happy 6k, 7k, and 8k subs lol
I just heard! He actually came by the stream the other day! I was an idiot and thought it was an imposter at first 😂
Also THANK YOU SO MUCH!
@@Mr_TatorHead Hell yeah! Can’t wait to see the great work you keep creating man!
@@gunnah5687 Thanks for the kind words! I got LOTS more coming! Gonna keep doing the longer guides but do one of these shorter guides per week while working on those longer ones!
I’m so bad at fast vaulting!! I’m actually floored with how easy you mad it look at 1:50
Once you get the hang of it its pretty easy! I wish there was a way for survivors to walk around maps in custom games by themselves and practice them! It would help loads! Theres a few VERY difficult running vaults to get that I could literally never get enough practice on (like top of brownstone on badham, the small boat on pale rose, the green house room on disturbed ward while coming down the stairs etc)
One thing that does help, is waiting to press the vault button until you are a bit closer to the window!
Hey Tator! I've been playing for 400 hrs and still suck at loops. This one is incredibly easy and fun. Thank you for your tutorials!
Thanks for the kind words mate! Hope they help! Got LOADS more on the way!
The real question is, how to get the killer to chase you? I'm being ignored 95% of the time. I hate this game.
They don't chase anymore just pick off weak survivors and catch u on hook bleed u out or hit u on hook 20 times . Then text ez gg .
Then left on hook 😂
Literally had the exact game I am describing happen 2 days ago 😂
I hate solo q with a passion. We don't be serious meanwhile the killer's armpits are sweating whole time.
had to sub after this. super well-made video, i learned sm from that first simple loop. i don't get saloon often but it always feels like the one map i get caught off guard often on.
Thanks mate! Even thought this loop is only on this map I still think it's the best first one to learn! Just eases into the fundamentals of looping and they're very simple! also you can bring a map offering for Saloon and the killer won't hate you for it! Most killers absolutely love this map!
Cool video but these would never work on me (I'm better)
Should never take anywhere near that long but trial and error takes a while 😂
I have actually been working on full map guides!
I can't think of many other games where people with over 1000 hours still feel like beginners sometimes haha
I like the longer format too.
I believe they said "When r u gonna make shorter vids and farm subs?" 🤣
Not gonna stop making the longer ones though! They def also help me counter the "THIS WONT WORK IN REAL MATCHES" So you can have a video already made of it working 30 times! I don't blame them though for saying stuff like that tbh! There is definitely a LOT of clickbait out there.
I appreciate it though mate!
This isn't cool, this is actually really bad, the game shouldn't have these kind of loops where the killer can't reach you
It's not as bad as that ghostface made it look!
I like how you explain these. Seems so simple but I never knew how to properly run this building.
It is super simple! Almost every tile in the game is simple and easy to run! Problem is there are like 1k tiles in the game 😂
One tile at a time!
Gonna have all the map guides done one day, then I can do like 2-3 of these per week! Until then I'm aiming for 1 vid per weekend!
Got them all in 1 playlist here for ya if you need! - ruclips.net/p/PLSeVwJ5gS6empWO8-7mw0u6JZGxfBHnTL
@@Mr_TatorHead Thank you! I’m looking forward to seeing them. This is very helpful. I like the long videos or short ones. Definitely like all the examples and explanations. Are there other places on this particular map that are great for looping? Definitely appreciate the info. Thank you for the link. I’ll check them out. Excellent info that other RUclipsrs fail to mention or explain. You’ve nailed it. The day I will love to be tunneled will be an awesome day indeed! I’ll let you know! Going to try this next time I play on this map. Wish me luck. 😊👊💗
I have over 1k hours in this game, yet videos like this are always super helpful, thank you so much!
No problem! I appreciate the kind words! So many things can pass by unnoticed! Especially if just coming home from work loading up some video games just to have fun instead of trying to improve every little thing! But learning the stuff does make it more fun in chase!
Loving these short Tutorials with examples 👌👌👌
Gotta have examples! It's the reason these shorter videos will almost always be on maps that I have a full map guide for! You can never tell the whole story in 1-2 examples, but if you pile in as many as you can, it defeats the purpose of having shorter more digestible guides!
I tried this today and it works to perfection. Thank you so much!
No problem! It's always happy hour in dead dawg saloon! 😂
An absolute gold mine for looping guides
Thanks mate! I appreciate the kind words! I wish I had them all done! 😂
insanely informative looping guide, I had to subscribe 🤯
Thanks mate! I have TONS more on the way! And about half of the full map breakdowns done! These are the shorter, more digestible versions of those longer walkthroughs!
im newish to the game (started playing december of last year) and today i learned how to loop a main building properly thank you so much
No problem! Looping is mechanically easy! Just gotta know where to run and where to stop!
By watching this video this is now the first loop I have learned as an ex killer main. Thank you for your work for the community
Thanks for helping ease one of my life worries with these videos.
No problem! 😂 I got LOADS more on the way!
You sir have earned a sub. I love gameplay breakdowns and explanations
More flashbangs and head ons would literally ALWAYS be a good thing and great for the game itself tbh!
Very informative…very entertaining…got a new sub…GL with the channel keep up the great work 👍🏻
Thanks for the kindness mate I appreciate it! And will do! Got TONS more where this came from!
781 hours in the game and I only just now learned how to loop main building on Dead Dawg. Thank you sir!
No problem! It's always happy hour in dead dawg's saloon! 😂
Hey! thank you so much for these man. You've already helped me more than any of the DBD RUclipsrs, and I've been playing for a very long time :)
I'm glad they're helping! There are lots of peeps that could get into dbd but won't because it looks like it would take too long! Gonna be using comments like this to peer pressure them into trying it 😂
Thanks for the kind words tho mate!
There's no way to practice as a survivor with a Killer bot, so these loop videos have been super helpful man!
There really should be! For months my friend YaboiMLT was running around the map while I ran my yap until dbd went on sale for the switch then I could sit afk on killer myself! I'm glad these are helping and got LOTS more on the way!
Literally no one in the comments talking about the amazing use of old school Mario music during the sped up loop
That one was such a last second decision! I can't remember which other song I was gonna use but it was too short and this one fit just perfectly!
@@Mr_TatorHead it really does fit perfectly lol and it was an amazing surprise when watching this 😂
I showed so many people this when you originally posted it in the long tutorial. Killers don't chase me here anymore.
I forgot to mention the main part about why it would be the best first loop and its because it's great to do with friends! But to be fair I should probably get some group "happy hour" efforts but you can literally have multiple people getting chase by the killer at the same time with saloon and kinda hold a new players hand through the chase while also getting chased 😂
Guess I'll just have to make another video about that one day 😂
If you get frustrated about tunneling, i can give you a good tipp too- just play killer 90% of the time youre in the game and do this for 5-6months and you will get a complete different perspective on the game, for sure.
Thanks mate! I appreciate it!
Omg I LOVE this series! It’s so helpful and easy to learn!
Subbed right away. Keep up with your great work bro!
thank's mate! I appreciate it! Gonna have a steady flow of these single loop vids and keep the longer ultimate map guides coming out in between them!

Amazing content! For more educational creators like this! Thank you so much for the video
Thanks mate! I appreciate it! got LOADS more on the way! Anyone can do anything I can, and it shouldn't take 9k hours neither!
Excellent refresher! Thank you!!!
No problem! I want to start not only giving updates to things, but also break down all those super long guides into shorter versions like this so they can be easily digestible! That way its not like "I want to learn that map but don't have 6 effing hours to do so" 😂
Thank you. This really helped. I think the killer had watched this video because they dropped chase every time I entered the main building.
That's a good thing if you didn't want to be tunneled or chased! It's a bad thing if you just wanted to have fun looping the Saloon! 😂
I'm glad it's helped!

Most main buildings have things like this although may not be as strong, but on a bigger map to compensate, or more complex with different possible setups and rng!
Thanks for the kind words mate! I have LOTS more on the way!
this is so damn good, can you do a video like this for all the main buidings and safe tiles?
I have actually been going map by map and doing the whole map like this but more in detail! I have over half of the maps done! Although I want to re-do the Saloon guide and the Lerys guide since they were earlier ones I made and while the info still holds true, the guides have gotten much more in depth and I have more examples and a better understanding of some of the rng! Those guides are seriously long (Midwich guide is 6 hours!) but broken into chapters where the individual chapters work kind of like this shortened version but with MANY more examples of chases afterwards! I wanted to break those down into more digestible guides that people would actually have time to watch!

Thank you so much, I'm really struggling as a survivor and this helps me immensely❤
@@lingling4891 No problem! Got WAY more on the way!
Just started playing dbd & this is super helpful. Thanks
If you play solo queue sometimes you loop the killer until you grow gray hair and the team still don't finish the gens.
That's sort of the fun of it! You can't get like 10 minute chases if all the gens get done in 4!
TatorHead why are ur videos so damn awsome... this is gold. Def needed this tbh i hated dead dawg up until this vid
I appreciate it mate! I do put as much work as I can into them! If I could edit every single chase to make them funnier I would! 😂
Dead Dawg is still my fav map on survivor! It's always happy hour there! The town has a lot of fun tiles too!
@@Mr_TatorHead 😆 Hell yea bro, love the vids. Please do more of these map specific ones they are super helpful
@@Mike_402 Hell yeah! Gonna keep making the single loop tips to go with the full map looping guides! Working on the ormond full map guide right now!
@@Mr_TatorHead Cant wait 🥳
This was so helpful! Subscribed, please do more of these 👍
Glad to hear its helping! I have LOADS more on the way! Anyone can do any loops I can do and it shouldn't take 9k hours to figure it out neither!
Never heard of this guy before but this was a terrific video 👍
