Another mindgame I picked up on, as silly as it is, is one you do when the survivor's standing there waiting to stun you as opposed to predropping: Stare at them, start your lunge standing still, then hold W just as the attack comes out. It doesn't always work, but usually, they won't expect it after a full three seconds of staring contest, and it tends to be real good at hitting through pallet validation.
I'm about 500 hours in and a Ghostface (and other M1s) main, and I needed the help from this. I've already figured out the tiny loop mindgame but I always mess up and second guess on the tiny loops. I never am sure what they will do and it ends up messing with me. I really need to practice these! Thank you for the video tips. One Mindgame i picked up on from SpookyLoopz is a really good stealth one for Ghostie in particular. If you hesitate at corners and pop shroud at the right time, sometimes you can get them to think you're gone or coming when you're there, and they will run right into you. Sometimes Survivors (and I am guilty of this) will get stuck in a habitual "I am looping" situation and you can catch them off guard that way.
Great tips I'ma great survivor but very mediocre killer. I just fell in love with the cenobite after a very rocky start I wasn't willing to give up. These will help ty
I kid you not. Many survivors expect you are constantly on their tails and will frantically move. If you just... Stand still in a tall loop, chances are they are going to run towards you and you can shorten the distance
In addition to these there's another I like to do at shack which is vaulting it multiple times. Sometimes a survivor will run right into you if you vault inside after them and immediately vault back out as they run to the outside. If they commit just a bit too much you should have enough time to catch up and hit them before they run back in to vault again.
My favourite shack mindgame i saw henz do for the first time, and it gets most people. After vaulting the window most people keep going, some wait at the door a bit, most go into the middle of shack to wait there and decide if they should vault. Instead of chasing, moonwalk to the other door and a lot of times you will catch them in the middle of shack looking to the door they came through or even they will walk into you assuming, as they dont see the red stain, that the killer is doubling back and the best thing to do is go around the long wall. Very satisfactory.
@@Kasparth a tip for this one. When hiding the red stain, look outwards at an angle and not just a simple moonwalk. By the time they realize what happened its to late.(killer shack mindgame)
Oh and once i learned not to break pallets between to very very short loops like bedham has i started using them as bait. Survivors will vault it to get away but those vaults can be so small you can lunge around them
Hi! Why don't you always break the pallet? To avoid them going into the next loop? When is it convenient to break a pallet? Thanks in advance, I'm new!
Great question! You are correct, sometimes it's better to not break it when you know you can get a hit at that loop, instead of risking the survivor getting to a new one. These are usually called "unsafe pallets." It can be more convenient to break the pallet if the loop is really strong (like certain jungle gyms) or if it's basically impossible to mindgame it (like killer shack). Knowing which pallets are safe and unsafe will come with experience, but the RUclipsr Not Otzdarva has a vid called "All Common Tiles Explained" if you want to learn more.
Killa Whale, thank you. I watched your 3 part series to a fun killer play and it's working to calm me down. This video, also amazing. Even 1 year late to its upload, it's helping me realize I just need to better learn ^^'
I learned another one ages ago that i (kind of) picked up from Red and spookyloopz. If a survivor is camping a pallet at a loop with high walls and lots of tucked in corners, Hide in the corner for a second or two, then lunge out of it and through the pallet. They're usually not expecting that and it gets you a free hit because they don't react in time for the stun.
Brilliant! Some of these mindgames I had already learned by myself, but the last 2 ones in this video, wowie that's gonna make my games much more interesting.
"Vaseline"! You have great taste in music. Your videos are interesting AF. I think you can become a famous RUclipsr because you are funny and witty and informative. Keep it up!
A mindgame ive used to great success is forcing them to commit to something. For instance i move in such a way to allow a pallet vault and stroke their ego for the stream worthy play thats about to happen. Good survivors know your lunge distance so ill twitch then as they lock into the animation im already going around. They knew what i was up to before they hit space but they cant change their mind mid animation. By the time they cross the pallet im nearly there and i either body block them or they vault back and i strike. Body blocking is wildly useful and ive only recently gotten the patience to not lunge

Hadn't considered that!
My survivors won't wait for stun, they greed or predrop.
I’ve been playing killer more often lately and there were a couple of mind games I hadn’t considered! Thanks for the tips!

1:57 The shadow uses the first person model which the survivors don't see. This is why the shadow looks really static and weird.
Man your content is so entertaining and enjoyable loving your uploads.
Thank you I think these were some very helpful tips!

Mindgame from a Huntress Main: throw hatchets

Tip 1 don’t play angry
Don’t enter a match to sweat

There are way more effective mindgames, but these are not baf
as a killer main with 1000 hours i didnt know half of these mindgames this is pure genius right there
This is the intermediatest of resources. Studying this brought my gameplay up to an intermediate level. Thank you KW!
Thanks for mindgames, I will try to get them into my killer gameplay

nice that's a good one too! I will probably make separate videos on the bigger loops in the future and will be sure to include it :)

@@KillaWhale best part of killer
if you know how to win as survivor you know how to win as killer
Nobody ever expects the tripple vault
As a noob killer, this is very helpful, thanks!
not a single fucking one of these works in my games literally every single fucking double back and moonwalk they just sense it
Once I moonwalked into the surviors as they tbagged at the gate
I downed one of them and was able to grab them before they escaped
Felt good
I like doing weird helicopter movement in short loops so they think I’m doubling back. In reality idk what I’m doing either
You didn't cover pressing W
very helpful *proceeds to uninstall and never touch DBD*
T3 Myers at window turn away then vault back quickly. As myers

Nothing beats the "Do nothing" mind game 😎

I'll let you know when I solve that one lol

these for sure going to help me with some things I struggle with. I think my mind games fail she to non fluid movement and hesitation
