My ranking: 8th: Shining Falls 7th: Special World 6th: Castle Bowser 5th: Pipe-Rock Plateau 4th: Fluff-Puff Peaks 3rd: Deep Magma Bog 2nd: Sunbaked Desert 1st: Fungi Mines For this ranking: • All Petal Isles courses count as being in the worlds they precede, excluding those in Castle Bowser. • All courses surrounding the Special World count as part of the worlds their entrances are found in.
As soon as i got into world 4 i immediately new it was special, easily my favourite, and utilises the world map perfectly and proves it can have it's own purpose outside of being a link between levels, while also not being too overwhelming considering the main game is in 2d (and was exactly what i wanted from the freewalking world map when it was first introduced in sm3dw).
Fungi Mines is my favorite, it has some of my absolute FAVORITE levels like Light Switch Mansion and Beware of the Rifts (and the Taily level where the wonder effect is a trivia game, such a creative wonder effect!) and I love how you venture deeper and deeper into the mines while going through the world. I'm so happy to see it ranked so high 💗
I know its a hot take but I still love shining falls, while it was still a little dissapointing, i found all the levels (except the sugarstar one) to be very fun and unique. And I know it doesn’t add to the actual world but I love the special version of this world. My second, or even favorite course in the whole game
Here are my rankings for each world in Super Mario Bros Wonder 1. Sunbaked Desert (9/10) - For a desert world, this one’s VERY impressive with levels based off temples and ice caves. It’s no ordinary desert, unlike the New Super Mario Bros ones which are a 6 or 7. 2. Fungi Mines (9/10) - A forest made of mushroom trees, and underground slimy temples. This world was very unique, and the buildup to the end was very constructive. 3. Fluff Puff Peaks (8/10) - While the pink cloud levels are very interesting, they don’t stand out from each other too much. The main thing I like the most is the snowy and icy levels. 4. Deep Magma Bog (8/10) - As epic and interesting a volcanic world is in Mario games, this one doesn’t stand out as much as the others worlds do from other games. 5. Petal Isles (8/10) - Would’ve been a 7/10 for basic levels, but towards the end of Petal Isles, the level get more interesting and start to stand out more. Also, Bowser’s Castle was a great part of this world. 6. Pipe Rock Plateau (8/10) - For an introductory world, this one starts of very basic and gets more and more interesting overtime. This would’ve been a 7, but having a bunch of levels stand out from each other was the best first impression in a 2D Mario game. 7. Shining Falls (7/10) - While the waterfalls world was super cool, the levels hardly stood out from each other, and some of them were relatively bland. This world was still pretty good.
Light-Switch Mansion is in my opinion one of the weaker courses in the game. It reminds me of the swamp courses in the first world but way less fun. I like the Wonder Effect, but it does not make up for how boring the rest of the course is.
There are some Desert Worlds in a Mario Game that I love like World 2 from New Super Mario Bros. DS for having the sewer levels and My Favorite Level in the Game which is World 2-Castle for taking place outside the second half which makes it unique and having mummipokey who is a excellent boss, Sand Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey not just because it’s part of my Mexican Heritage but it does so many things right like having a great temple level with Eyerok 2.0 and the music feeling epic yet mariachis and so many fun challenges, and finally, Sunbaked Desert from Super Mario Bros. Wonder for having some of the best levels in the game and progressing inside a giant fortress!
You're not alone in loving Fungi Mines. It's also my second favorite world, Sunbaked Desert is 1 obviously. I love the story feeling more like a second plot rather than just another piece of the the main adventure. The final uncharted ruin might be my favorite level in the game. And the atmosphere is easily my favorite in the game. But yeah World 4 is literally too perfect to be topped!
For me its (from worst to best): W3, W2, W6, W1, W0/Hub, W5, W4 outside W3, i really loved each world i honestly didnt remember anything from W3 beside Hopycats wonder effects, until i replayed some levels again also master poplin being stupid and doesnt realise what is going on in flower kingdom
My ranking: 1. Fluff puff peaks 2. Petal isles 3. Pipe rock plateau 4. Deep magma bog 5. Sun baked desert 6. Shining falls 7. Special world 8. Fungi mines
My Ranking... 1. Special World (I just like harder Levels) 2. Petal Isles (So many Creative Unique Levels) 3. Fungi Mines (Cool Aestetic, and Creative Gymmics) 4. Shining Falls (My favourite World Design - I love the vertical Levels the unique theme and this World also has the best music, however it is really short and no bossfight) 5. Sunbaked Desert (Cool Overworld and mainly cool levels, however some of the standart Desert levels felt a bit boring and i didn't like the music that much) 6. Fluff Puff Peaks (Beautiful Aestetic, but some levels didn't felt that interesting) 7. Deep Magma Bog (Most Levels were decent but nothing crazy) 8. Pipe Rock Platau (I hate this part of the game. I dont like the aestetic and its way too easy. Also most of the wonder effects are really boring)
Theres a plains world, a lava world, a mountain, a beach, a desert, an ice world, and a poison/jungle esque world. I think too much credit is given to these worlds when they are all clearly reskins of old ideas
I disagree because most of the worlds in Wonder have several different themes or at least have a different style to similar themes that were used in the past World 4 and 6 admittedly are pretty much the one theme, but World 1,2,3,5 and the Petal Isles all have several themes/completely unique themes. I mean specifically even calling petal isles a beach level (I presume you meant the petal isles) is not really true, i mean yea there's a few beach levels and the world is located within the sea, but the vast majority of the levels have nothing to do with beach theming
"Even with the sensor badge equipped, I still couldn't find who asked."
That line has no right to go as hard as it does.
My ranking:
8th: Shining Falls
7th: Special World
6th: Castle Bowser
5th: Pipe-Rock Plateau
4th: Fluff-Puff Peaks
3rd: Deep Magma Bog
2nd: Sunbaked Desert
1st: Fungi Mines
For this ranking:
• All Petal Isles courses count as being in the worlds they precede, excluding those in Castle Bowser.
• All courses surrounding the Special World count as part of the worlds their entrances are found in.

15:43 hope "takes the cake" was a pun since the world map is themed like a cake
17:14, that checkpoint was synced with the song's beat drop
Glad to see this finally released! Love it when you rank Mario content, so I’m happy this video is out!

And I know it doesn’t add to the actual world but I love the special version of this world. My second, or even favorite course in the whole game
For me, the Sugarstar level was the only one I really liked in this world lol!
Boris get back to jackbox 😭 stop posting your RUclips videos in the middle of Talking Points

Respectfully disagree with Deep Magma Bog at the bottom. :)
World 6 is easily my favourite, followed by World 4, then 3 :)
i like world 6
8. Petal Isles
7. Shining Falls
6. Fluff-Puff Peaks
5. Pipe-Rock Plateau
4. Special World
3. Deep Magma Bog
2. Sunbaked Desert
1. Fungi Mines

16:51-16:54 me when a youtuber does a sponsorship segway
Albert has a crush on desert areas confirmed
Honestly, desert levels theme wise are the most slept on, it's either Egypt or the Wild West, and Mario never does the latter.
Sunbaked Desert is NSMBU’s Peach’s Castle Done Right!
Cant wait to see shining falls at the bottom
looks like your idea of ppc being called deep moray trench was heard and used for this game with deep magma bog
Sunbaked Desert proves that desert worlds in mario games can be great if done correctly.
Reason why Bowser Jr stole the water was because he was so thirty from being in the desert he stole it so he can survive out there
Was that a Quest for Glory mention?!
Erm acktually Sunbaked Desert's name is great because it alludes to the fact that it's a giant lemon bar (hence the name 'baked')
16:52
This should become a meme at some point lol
Personally deep magma bog is one of my favorites, but I honestly don’t blame you because all worlds in this game are top tier
Deep magma bog is so cool! But there’s no doubt the other worlds are not
I mean, the lava level theme is awesome.
My ranking from worst to best:
8: Desert
7: Fungi mine
6: Petal isles
5: Starting world
4: Cloud world
3: Secret world
2: Shining falls
1: Lava world
This is a joke if you couldn't tell
👑
World 2 is the best imo, but I did really enjoy World 4!
This must have been a difficult video, the worlds are very good in this game
Love Mario Wonder
Shining falls is the defenition of missed potential
I think deep magma bog is super fun and interesting to me I really enjoyed most levels
For me its (from worst to best):
W3, W2, W6, W1, W0/Hub, W5, W4
outside W3, i really loved each world
i honestly didnt remember anything from W3 beside Hopycats wonder effects, until i replayed some levels again
also master poplin being stupid and doesnt realise what is going on in flower kingdom
Never would of I thought a 2d Mario game make a desert world so good, while a volcano world so mediocre (compared to the other worlds).
I love that everyone agrees that Sunbaked Desert was the best one
My favourite is Pipe Rock Plateau
My ranking:
1. Fluff puff peaks
2. Petal isles
3. Pipe rock plateau
4. Deep magma bog
5. Sun baked desert
6. Shining falls
7. Special world
8. Fungi mines
You forgot to say MKDS is p00-p00 and **krabby**
Don't think someone didn't recognize the Somnom Woods theme Boris 😉
It's definitely got to be one of the greatest Mario songs ever for me!
Goated opinion 🤩
My Ranking...
1. Special World (I just like harder Levels)
2. Petal Isles (So many Creative Unique Levels)

Can u rank every Mario kart 8 cup next?
I'm planning on doing that video next, hopefully!
@@AlbertBoris Can’t wait! 😎
I hate fungi mines because I have a mushroom phobia
I got spoiled sadly oh well, I haven't beat the game yet
🎈 ooh aah the horror
I don't understand how people like Fungi mines I hate it so much
King boo and halloween song 🎃
