Thanks so much for watching. I would love to hear your thoughts on this interview. Do you know someone struggling with kidney disease?

I have lect2 amyloidosis. It's affected the kidneys. What suppliments or antioxidants can help me?

Thank you more than words may express. This coversation would have helped me be better support for my Mom. We all focused on taking best care of her. She must have felt so out of control. In addition, she had beginning memory loss issues. Thank you very much.

Whats your daily life like after transplant? meds? what foods do you eat? What can't you eat? What things can't you do anymore.

The same foods we recommend before a transplant is what we recommend after. focusing on whole-food plant-based diet is still important. With a kidney transplant, some of the restrictions (like potassium) decrease as you have a better functioning kidney. However, making sure your blood pressure, and sugars are well controlled is more important than ever.
