Edie Sedgwick - Very Romantic Purple Velvet Edition

This is in memory of a wonderful girl who shared this little planet with us once, far away in the 1960s and who deserved a much better life. I think Lou Reed intended this song as a romantic tribute to Edie, because though there are some pretty hard words there, you can hear the lyrical burning love in every single note, and there is no way to hide or deny it.

im very certain that this recording of femme fatal can be found on the bootleg series vol.1: the quin tapes. i remember buying it a few years ago on cd. the whole album was really good
