- An Edie clip that I found somewhere on one of teh internets and I stole it. I did not make this particular one and I will of course remove it if anyone asks me to. Let us hope that the Andy Warhol Foundation will release everything soon.
This was part of an event called "Times Square Arts: Screen Tests 1964-66" and was shown there May 1, 2015 - May 31, 2015. The ful clip is 4 to 5 minutes in length.
See this page: www.timessquarenyc.org/times-s...
It's called "Screen Test: Edie Sedgwick [ST309]" and you can read about it in "Andy Warhol Screen Tests - The Films of Andy Warhol Catalogue Raisonne" by Callie Angell. You get it at the library.
For some reason this the most beautiful of ALL of Andy's screen tests is never or very rarely shown.
I bet she would get a kick out of all these years later being so thought of so often by so many people who adore her from around the world
A kick, but no mental health. I think that sums up alot of her problems. Thinking that attension and fame would make her content. In reality it`s just another addiction for people who are fameous, but has zero real life skills other than beeing sexy/cool
we spend a moment in time together...and came back to california together...she was intoxicating
Art is long, life is short.
It really is true..you never get tired of looking at her. Wish i had a time machine to go back in time to save her from leaving this world at such a young age
The footage from 1:16 - 2:00 is stunning!
She reminds me of a little, woodland fairy, with a delicate, innocence and a sweet kind of beauty. Until the real world crushed her spirit. Sad little puppet. Tragic 😔💙
Beauty and grace at it's best
her eye's and soft lips just pull you in like a magnet
She is fresh and timeless sweet & unique cool & classy
soft & sensual One of a kind indeed..Then now and forever our lovely Edie
epic style: Very well said...there will never be another Edie
Luv Edie. Thanks for putting this up.
I could look at her forever. :)
+jt20042 Me too. She is very addictive.
+joce sta If I could get photos that we have never seen before, believe me, I would definitely post them!

I absolutely love this and Edie !xx
Thanks! I posted this but it was shot by a friend, someone else on RUclips. (Where did you go?)
Pretty neat.
+desertshore Thanx! I don't think there has ever been anyone like Edie and there never will be.
I think, that when the collective public focuses their collective, destructive, hunger on another living being, they then therefore sacrifice the right to be shocked at the (any), outcome. RIP Edie, and Marilyn, and Jean Seberg, and, and, and....
Who is profiting from this young ladies tragic life and WHY?
The Cult ,they made a lot of money from Ciao baby.
For all the girls that I like b/4..
The Cult got it so rite. Ciao Baby
Cool chicks always dig Edie it's in the blood! The rest of the lame ones don't even know who she is!
Why all this fuss for a silly little dime a dozen drug addict? Are your lives that empty?
@@eyelavendarshine461 My legacy will be seeing her and you for the pretentious lost souls you are darling.
While this is controversial you have a point. If Edie had been ugly, or plain looking, or pretty but just poor so that no one could exploit her financially, very few people would have cared then or remembered her now. That’s how superficial the world was in the 1960s and still is today.
