Yes, this bootleg recording of a Velvet Underground gig is from Dallas or possibly San Francisco in the summer of 1969. The film footage of Edie in Panna Grady's apartment in the Dakota Building in NYC is from 1966.
MowgliX I don't know you, but I love you lol. I am so grateful for anything edie I can get my hands on. people don't give her enough credit for her brains. thanks again for posting
Gina, why don't you create some stuff yourself? This is the footage, this is what you get. I am always happy and grateful for what I get. This is the hand of cards I was given, and so I played it as best I could. That's exactly what happens in life, every hour and every single day. A distant friend shot this at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I am so happy she gave it to me. I think the camera movements are great! She had to do that because there was a guard nearby. Edie died on this day, November 16, 1971, exactly 45 years ago, in Santa Barbara. This film is for her.
People here in Philadelphia love you.
Thank you SO much for sharing!
I still Perform this Song for Edie. I Love Her Pure, Fragile Soul That Was So Kind. 'Femme Fatale' is what I am referring to.
Lou Reed At The Tower Theatre.
