I'm probably going to be sticking with the Total War Series on this channel honestly. The games are great and so is the community, and honestly this is probably the most "strategy" based game I've ever played so I love it.
Thats probably true, but it doesn't matter so much when they are in melee because they're attacking from behind so they aren't facing much resistance and also once they are in close combat, all ashigaru will be forced to use their swords so it really barely makes a difference.

nice guide i think the flanking ashigaru are better in normal formation ( not loose ) because normal formation does better in melee
