I really hope Simagic makes the rumble motors compatible with the P2000 at some point. Also totally off topic of the P1000's but I noticed when you did the comparison with the P2000's your spring configuration for the brake green(Hard spring) at the top and red(soft spring) at the bottom. I have mine switched around. Do I have it setup wrong. Which spring gets compressed first the bottom one or the top? Thanks. love your review videos you were one of the first channels I subscribed to when I got into sim racing and I ended up by Simagic because of it.

I'll be holding off on pedal upgrade, but like you said these pedals definitely have potential. Turning up the preload on throttle, changing spring on clutch and installing the P-HYS hydraulic kit on brake will put these way above the P2000 I think. @@LaurenceDusoswa
At low pressure, during the initial stage of tapping the brake, measuring angle might yield more consistent results than measuring pressure.
The brake in that early phase is more like the clutch and throttle, where people tend to have a better feel for angle than pressure, when the latter is low to begin with.
Therefore a hybrid, angle sensor and pressure/force sensor, method doesn’t seem weird, to give the most consistent performance through all phases of braking.

These pedals look great. I'm personally not a fan of the pedals being mounted all together on a tray. I have Fanatec V3s currently. and my biggest gripe is that i cant easily adjust them laterally. Time could be taken to possibly make some new spacers for them, maybe even 3D print some. For now I've settled with just adjusting the pedal faces. in this case with the p1000, I understand it with the way the made it so easy to plug in the haptic motors. Still would be nice to have more adjustability of individual pedal position. Interesting pedals for sure. the LED's are cool but not really needed IMO. Nice to have the options available when shopping around. As i have only been into sim in the last couple of years, the market has exploded in just this short amount of time. Thanks for the vid LD!

Hi Laurence, nice to see your channel has grown so quickly since you hit the 10k subs. Don't know exactly why they choose to have a loadcell and angle sensor, but Race beyound Matter made a video about the fundamental flaw in the decision of sim pedal manufacturers to place elastomers between the input force and the loadcell censor. When elastomers are put under load it will initially resist and then relax. The input drops 10%. He has the P1000 also and tested the accuracy of the input of the loadcell and angle sensor, and he claims the angle sensor was more accurat. Maybe you should watch the video ( and follow Race Beyound Matter), because it's kind a hard to explaine.

But I had such great feeling on the brake that I think these motors reported tyre slip for locked tyres etc, they come out in 2 weeks, maybe you can get a review sample, would be very interesting
Oh by the way, the founders of these P1 pedals also made a video explaining (in French, but there are subtitles) the pedals and they also have both a loadcell and a hallsensor measurement and they said it's there so that you can better set up individual curves in the software for specific cars. So it's not meant for the driving measurement but rather so that you can match travel and pressure in the software

The sim-3D settings? You found them weak even at 100%? I had them turned way way down and they were still plenty for me. I like subtle feedback. Tbh see are definitely more powerful and seem to have 0 latency too. They’re a lot more like buttkickers than vibration motors. Are they worth it? All depends how much money you have floating around. These pedals get expensive by the time you add all the bells and whistles

I'm asking because I have p1000 and I would like to add haptics motors, but I don't know how loud they are. Thx for your answer

Good video, but one feedback - please level your audio. Sometimes you're a bit quiet and then you launch ACC and the game audio is WAYYYYYY too high and I can barely hear you.

I don’t know why it was so loud, to be honest. Like my settings were wiped or something. I’m no audio engineer though :)

Had mine for a month and never even noticed what the writing was on the footboard, just had to go and have a look. That aside, Simhub now supports these pedals and you can assign wheel lock to non-abs cars, as well as a boat load of other affects that might not make any sense. But certainly a level of configuration that far exceeds the simagic software.

this is why i use fanatec for long 918 wheel that have vibrations and clubsport v3 also have them if you use it once there is no coming back it's another layer of information about tires lock/slip or abs systems if you setup it well it's amazing. If i upgrade my simrig in future it's gonna be with haptic/ruble motors 100% im happy other brands also started include this kind of hardware
