Washington Reagan (DCA) Runway 33 Departure on a Delta Boeing 757

  • You read it right. On an extremely windy day in February 2009, I was on a Delta Air Lines 757-200 (DCA-ATL) which took off Washington-Reagan's Runway 33, which measures in at just 5,204 feet.
    The quality's not great from the scramble to get my camera started, the camera itself, and the bumpiness, but it's worth a look.

    how do tjhat happen on a short runway? I miss the 757 to DCA

      No idea, but it took off in less than a mile and that's what I love about it.
