I had trouble at first until I realized that I should change the option to use the microphone I wanted instead of my external microphone built into my computer! Now I can hear both the youtube video audio and my voice being recorded in my microphone! There is a bit of a clipping problem but aside from that this is exactly what I needed! Thank you!

I have a new MacMini. I watched a few videos on how to use the blackhole software for audio screen recording and got confused because the MacMini does not have an internal microphone. Thank you for keeping it simple in your video. This was the best video by far and what you said actually worked. My only hack was that on a MacMini since there is no internal microphone, I had to use "NDI Audio" virtual input that comes along with the blackhole software as my internal microphone. I also had to use the "External Headphones" as the output. Everything worked as described after that. #BetOutofDebt live Sunday mornings on RUclips.

Hi, thank you fo rthe help. I am still facing issues with the recording of a Zoom meeting. Either it records the audio from the other end and my audio is blank or it records my audio and external noises captured by the Macbook mic leaving out the audio from the other end. I have to try using a headphone and see if it captures audio from both the ends and no external noises. Any suggestions?

I tried that, and it worked. I tried two different versions of the blackhole, and both have worked. However, I have a problem! In both of my recordings, after 50 minutes of recording, there are many background noises, which do not exist in the original sound! And after finishing the recording, when I check the recorded files, it appears! Do you know the reason?

I don’t think you’ll need this plugin in Mac OS Monterey, cuz I tried recoding with Quick Time and it worked without installing plugins.
