- Learn how to make your landscaping look the BEST it has EVER LOOKED this year. Edging landscaping beds like a true professional makes a huge difference in the overall appearance of your property. If you want to learn how to EDGE LANDSCAPING BEDS PERFECT….. watch this video carefully!!
This looks great! How do you mow around that? I always get my lawnmower wheels caught in that trench. Everyone shows how to edge, but no one shows how to mow around it.
Best thing on a yard this size i would say do a lap with a push mower…to cut down on weedwacking and get a uniform cut. Then on to rider. If your talking about push mower wheels, got to stay off tge edge, unfortunately. Btw, You can always find a used beater for next to nothing on CL or yardsale if it’s for youreelf.
I hope you bid this one right because I see a lot of extra work being performed unnecessarily
I’m at the front with my glasses and note pad, you better believe I signed up for all of Randal’s classes this semester!
That's the proper way to edge a bed; the way it used to be done before people got lazy!!!
You guys did a really good job you and your boy make it look really beautiful I like your new video today I love your video love all buddy 👊👊
Great video job brother . Your son Dawson is a great worker just like his Dad , you are blessed. You are going to have a great blessed year . Love you brother. ❤️🙏
Very Pretty! Lots of hard work ! But that's really makes it look nice!
Nice work! You can't get this kind of education at Harvard!!!
Great job! I learned a few things for sure. A skilled landscaper is hard to come by.
Spoken well Steve 🤜🤛 Have a great week and welcome to the community and family my Brother 😎❤️😎
The edge really put the frosting on the cake homie, awesome job quality over quantity. I always recommend this method to my clients the natural edge instead of any other thing, and they are always very satisfying with results, you do more work but the results are better than any metal or plastic edge. Keep up the work.
Looks good. Do you charge by the hour or by the foot?
Hi Mistur R my dad told me about this so I am watching and i am liking it
Crispy work fellows 👍🏻👍🏻
At how many inches do you install mulch. Thank You
A neighbor gave me a shovel like that and I NEVER thought of using it for that!! Just this morning I ordered a step edger and I canceled that order so fast 😂😂 wow! Can’t wait to get outside tomorrow and use this technique! Great job, and the tree looks fantastic
I love the edges but I think you should expose the root flare of those trees ! Is not healthy for them to have soil or mulch over the root flare 🙏 I just my opinion but I do love you’re work
How do you keep water from sitting in the trench after a good rain out? Just edged my flower bed and just had a good rain out today and I’m left with stagnant water.
The mulch I use soaks most of the water up and it seeps into soil within a few hours at most. Maybe a River stone/rock border or apron would be better for that area?? 🤜🤛
The bird at 2:32 approves! Looks 👍
What a beautiful video of your landscape work. It's awe inspiring. I plan to do a couple of my beds this weekend. Thanks for sharing and your humility. Bless you.
Great work
I’m a first timer
Trying to figure out the beveled look
What does heavy rain do to the trenched sections
You guys do beautiful work, I wonder why the home owners don’t have anything planted in the beds. Or have very little. If the beds were full of flowers they would be so beautiful. But what you guys do is perfect! I need to find some good mulch. My place has a bunch of edging needing to be done, somehow I end up doing the work myself. It takes me a little longer than a day I usually spend about a month getting it done. I have about an acre of flower beds. Maybe a bit more this year I added a small 60 foot by 10 food shrub and bulb bed.
That was beautiful 😱🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯
22:25 leaving a time stamp for myself 😊 gotta try this
These are so informative! I’m subscribed and looks like you all are around zone 5 like myself here in Indy.
Beds look amazing but that’s a lot of hard labor. Would you suggest a type of retaining wall/edging around beds if homeowners can’t budget to hire out and would have a hard time keeping up with this yearly or is this THE way to go in your opinion?
That is truly professional and beautiful..
Did this last summer for my new yard. Hard work, but worth the effort. Nice job.
Did I miss that part or was it not said about how deep are you going down on your edging? Thanks in advance! Looks amazing! You killing it brother!
I think 4 inches.
🤜🤛 thanks brother!!
Thanks! 🤙🏼😎
Great work. Great vid.
Great neighborhood, jeesh.
Damn, that yard's big
Fine fine edges, brother. Looking to start mulching early ( for a change ) in a coupla weeks or so....

Hi Mistur Brian
G'day Jaxon@@JaxonHayesPlays 👍😎🦘
@@JaxonHayesPlays Hello Mr Jaxon 👊👍😎......................🦘
Niiiice!!!
Nice job!
What state are they in?
Says zone 5 o. The green giants they planted for a client so I’d assume Indiana Ohio Kentucky area? I’m Indianapolis/5-b
Awesome job Really nice look. My concern is the beds close too the house iis that to deep and will retain water or is it sloping to drain. Thank you
Should a person use weed barrier under the mulch, I'm gonna do some front yard mulching?
It helps
Depends on the type of bed, do you have perennials that spread? I only use fabric when I use decorative stone in beds. Weeds usually germinate above the fabric over a short time period. Hope that helps, have fun and GOOD VIBES TO YOU ALWAYS 😎✊💪
I agree with under rocks not mulch.
Put down a healthy 3" of mulch and use Preen, my experiemce is that any weeds are minimal and on the surface.
@@unclerico4276yup. I can attest to that. It’s very manageable if there’s a thick enough layer of mulch.
Awesome job as usual 💯😏👍💚
Love that weed wacker. I can't reload the string on my current weed wacker could you tell what brand you are using question mark replace the blades / string Etc
Brother....your videos are killin' it! Can you tell me the manufacturer and type of string line you are using in your Stihl trimmer to define and start that bed edging? This homeowner would to give it a shot with that...Thanks in advance!
come to alabama and do this in teh clay and rock. ha!!!
