"important steps" all lawncare channels mention this alot but None of them ever put out a video on the steps needed to actually create the business. Townhall, Licenses in each city or county you work in..what type of insurance is best..LLC etc. A vid on the real important steps to stay legal and tax ready is what would break the mold. Cheers

Yeah, I'm looking to get a few semi regular people on the team this year. Tired of trying to do 95% of it by myself, or scrambling to train new people in the middle of a mad season where grass is going crazy, and lawns AND mulxh jobs are overdue 🤯 Time to breathe some and make room For The Lord to do more with my business than I ever could.

I learned my mulching and edging techniques from your videos, and by doing so I am now able to charge much more for mulch. In my area we don't have hard wood mulch, unless its bought in bags. We use triple shred douglas fir and hemlock bark for brown mulch, and black compost for black mulch. The bed Edging and throwing the mulch instead of dumping it leaves such a good product! Love to see the videos back, and good luck on the 2024 season!

I had to learn the hard way that bark mulch is not the way to go, because of how light they are. They will float all over the place. Triple shredded is the way to go for areas with slopes. Bark mulch can be good in some specific applications, the bonus of it is it takes forever to break down, so if you have a flat area, that you just want mulched, and aren't really concerned with a fresh mulched look you get with colored triple shredded, bark is good.

There's pluses and minuses to everything....He's got huge property which is basically lawn and beds which will forever require tons of maintenance. people who buy big property for the wow factor need to be aware of this. Either tons of labor or tons of landscaper bills, and the work only gets harder as you age. The property is not useful as farmland, nor a woodlot. It's the last type of property I would personally choose. However, as in all things, it's up to you, whatever you prefer. If I were getting big property myself, there better be a farm tractor and crops involved😉

First, weed seeds land on to of mulch and typically can’t germinate successfully unless they can reach the soil, so flipping mulch could make seeds contact soil. Second, he uses colored mulch and that coloring is what looks good.
