Four Strong Winds - I'm blown away! This is brilliant - I love it when 'senior' musos get together and have fun. They have nothing to prove - they have all the fame and fortune they need and now are looking for the peace. This is fabulous - play it from the rooftops, all over the World and maybe we can leave a better place for our kids.

Yes, she died of a brain tumor, New Years Day, 2018, right after Neil married Daryl. Pegi’s heart was so broken, she did her last album, all about her heartbreak 💔
+SuperCapsfan101 What amazes me is the number of young people who listen to the great musicians of the past generation (like Neil Young) because their music 'sucks'.
Emmylou Harris is absolutely in this, she is the "blonde singer" on the left. The other "blonde singer" on the right is Pegi, his wife at the time. They got divorced in 2015. This performance is from 2005. I can't think of any other performance where he was flanked by Emmylou and Pegi, this was kind of a one off for the film "Neil Young: Heart of Gold", so no, he hasn't been with them forever.
This music Is a costant echo in my mind and in my soul,i am helping my son Sebastian to be ready for school...tomorrow starts a new year for him,i try to do my best for his future,...Your music Is One of the best way to Honour my adorate Wife,..She ,fortunately, changed Her mind and followed me among many strong winds ❤.., Thank You for Your music ,Its One of the best way for me to feel really alive🙏🤗

It is thrilling and almost overwhelming to see and hear all these EXCELLENT musicians, a "Tour de Force," gracing one stage. The beautiful, moving song they perform, "4 Strong Winds," really touches the heart, and every musician is 100% into the song and the perfect performance of it.

Well, that is how I feel, I must listen to this beautiful song often, it grabs at the soul. Keep singing, Neil Young. You are great IIII Sincerely, Carol Ann Wood
Yes one of my all time great songs l met Canadian cowboy from Alberta back in the 80s living in Saratoga Australia next door to me and he had this record and it brang back memories from the 60s as it now does via utube
In the sixties my fav the Searchers playd it....!
my father and i used to sing this years ago, but it never felt like this, you've outdone yourself Neil, thank you, for such a wonderful way, to play this song.
Great things that never change..Neil, Pegi, Emmylou and all on stage with them..Goosebumps throughout!
Is that his former wife Peg to the left of him?
Yes, she died of a brain tumor, New Years Day, 2018, right after Neil married Daryl. Pegi’s heart was so broken, she did her last album, all about her heartbreak 💔
Are you able to tell me the whole front line of performers? XxX
A sad but soothing song, performed so well by Neil.
I'm like Eddie Vedder Uncle Neal deserves respect.!!
My dads favorite song,,, hes gone now so I had the song tattooed on my arm for him xoxo beautiful song for a beautiful man
Omg mine too! This was the first song he played on his new 12 string Takamine guitar. It rang like a bell. I am flat out bawling. 😭
Dang. I understand. My Dad is gone too, and I used to listen to Neil young with him in my car taking a cruise! Positive vibes ✌
Well done... I'm sure he 💘 s it...
Like the whole song or just bits?
So sweet .
I like this song. I remember my late husband sang this song.
Freakin' beautiful song, Neil nails it. And I could watch and listen to Emmylou all night. Old dudes rule!
SuperCapsfan101 Words fail to describe her beauty.
+SuperCapsfan101 What amazes me is the number of young people who listen to the great musicians of the past generation (like Neil Young) because their music 'sucks'.
EmmyLou is not in video, he’s been with those blonde singers like forever..
Southern man likes his music ! Rebels forever
A supremely beautiful song ...played by,an it doesn't get any better group of musicians...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am only 61,... widowed,with a kid 11 years old,...from that age i am still adoring this music ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍

No singer can sing this song better than Neil Young, so heart warming and full of emotion, and just like old wine, time will make it better. My love for it grows stronger day by day.
Heart opening, piercingly beautiful... used to sing with my best friend when we were young girls.. can't stop watching this one..
You are still young
"I think you know this guy...eh?" RIP the great Ian Tyson..this masterpiece ranks up there with the timeless classics, & like Stephen Foster's best will be sung 200 years from now...
Stephen Foster. Some one to never be forgotten.
Eh buddy
Ian and Sylvia's Four Strong Winds seems more personal, a deeply felt lost love
I love Four Strong Winds very much. Foster’s HARD TIMES, COME AGAIN NO MORE, is a classic too.
Hard to play anything more beautiful. Thanks, Neil and your friends, for having made my life a little brighter in all those years.
It is thrilling and almost overwhelming to see and hear all these EXCELLENT musicians, a "Tour de Force," gracing one stage. The beautiful, moving song they perform, "4 Strong Winds," really touches the heart, and every musician is 100% into the song and the perfect performance of it.
Hello, how are you doing today? It's nice to meet you on here.
Heard it for the first time when I was a little kid and for some reason It stuck.. Still love it and It brings me back to a simpler time.. I Love Neil for all the beautiful songs and lyrics he brought us! The version I heard in the late 60` or early 70` I really cant remember who made it..
Having lived in Alberta for 10 years this song always takes me back there... Neil is the man !
3 days in a row, wind blowing hard on the ocean, keeping me from my fishing holes. It blows so lonely in the North Pacific. Cold and lonely, way out there. Thank you, Neil; The good times are not all gone yet.
Neil singing freaking Ian Tyson....doesn’t get more Canadian
Yeah, I don’t know about that. There’s this guy from Orillia, Ontario, Canada named Gordon Lightfoot too.
@@DonnSeib Absolutely!!!!
Let's not forget that his parents were both Scots,
.
Great song, great lineup. Life surprises me every now again by providing beauty to light the greyness. Superlatives fail me.
Im 70 listening to Neil, have listened to him since my teens. I know this is a cover but he makes it his!!!!
Neil always sings to my soul. I saw him live in Madison, WI, January 2019. His voice is as good as ever and his new song, "Green is Blue," haunts me.
Simply love love it! Listen to it every night before going to bed! Just like when I was young!

Absolutely love this version! Neil Young’s voice is so distinctive, his music is amazing. I have been a fan since the 1970’s and got to see him in concert in Glasgow only once - what an experience. Now aged 72 and play my CDs full volume and singalong 😁
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song.

Hello, how are you today? Nice meeting you here.
I am an American 85 living in the Philippines with my beautiful Filipino wife of 21 years. She is 45 and we have a 14 year old son. A hundred times or more occurred in my life a time or two before I set shore here. Never give up I say, lovelier days are ahead. Ian's song by Neil tells it all.
Astonishingly brilliant music..!!!!!!!
Neil Young...genius.....listen to his early BBC concert. Wowww.
A wonderful journey to find this version. From the Chad Mitchell Trio, to John Denver, to this masterful guitars and autoharp. Just sat smiling and singing along.
Hi Karen💐💐
I listen to this song regularly. Seems to help me feel better when down. I first heard this by the Journeymen but this version is the best… so heartfelt ❤️
