After a quick search, I've figured out that Old Wind is said to show that even a very bad situation must have some good results. Hoping and hopefulness.
Before watching this I was honestly expecting an official prototype that’s tied in with Cartoon Network Interactive. And then I saw it was an ARG… 😓 For real tho, it would’ve been so cool if there was an official Courage the Cowardly Dog video game.
When I learn how to code 3d platformers, I'm gonna make a courage fangame (Which means I'm gonna have to watch his cartoon for info and ideas.) [And I think my idea for the final boss is gonna be that apparition from that one clip he shown while talking about directions]
There is something hauntingly brilliant about this game - especially in this era of bringing back early 3D graphics and the resurgance of digital horror stories. This game really sticks with me and I feel that there is this sense of nostalgia and "lost in an era" feel to it. In a more literary manner, its as if Courage is stuck in this void where he is starting to realize that there is no where to go when his show ended; He is in limbo, only left to be remembered but never truly returned to. The game feels like a set up to an episode that never happens: the Bagges are not home, the house is creepy and empty, and there's all sorts of things awry and incomplete in this digital hellscape. This was just my brief analysis - I hope to see more of this game. I hope it goes in a great direction and doesn't fizzle out like many other haunted game stories.
I have an idea on what angle it is to spell out "Old Wind" with the chairs, do you remember the coins? They all had the symbol on it in the same angle that could mean that's the angle you have to use but I could be wrong
The show in and of it self is nostalgic, and the creators did a good job making the game as much like the show as possible. That could be why. Or…something VERY spooky is going on and you really DID play this game as a child. LOL 😂😭
Robert was probably trying to wake us up. Maybe courage was sleeping and they tried to wake him up but nothing. Robert somehow found his way into Courage's dream and come at him. Trying to wake him up from the dream.
Old Wind can be related to the old windmill the Bagges had in their backyard. Maybe... Can it be a reference to their magical windmill, that stood for "centuries" on the land of the Bagges? Remember: While it works, it makes not only electricity, but drives away the avenging spirits of the barbarians. If so: Is the windmill broken in some ways? What has become to Muriel? Where has Eustace gone? Does the windmill have some other secrets? And most of all: This game bears an eerie resemblance of the game Petscop. Both games are looking "unfinished", and nightmarish - still, "every single pixel hides a secret". My sensors keep telling me: This game is not exactly what it looks like. It may tell a story about an exact, real person in some ways. Okay. That "pentagram thing" shows the way to solve the puzzle. But it doesn't bears any resemblance to ANY SINGLE episode of Courage. And still - the coins in the level when Muriel makes an appearance, bearing exactly the same engraving. Speaking of puzzles: How many chairs are there in the semicircle? Does the number of the chairs mean something? We need to dig deeper...
I have counted the number of the chairs in the semicircle - 15 in total. If I count the entry point for another "chair", there are 16 points in the puzzle. 1-9, and A-E - entry point, where no chair is considered as 0... Can it be a hex code puzzle? I will find out.
I've noticed something about that "fair and good world". After the fragments of the sentence are some numerics if I am not mistaken. The text in hexadecimal looks like this: 44 6f 20 79 6f 75 20 72 65 6d 65 6d 62 65 72 20 61 20 74 69 6d 65 20 77 68 65 6e 20 74 68 65 20 77 6f 72 6c 64 20 77 61 73 20 67 6f 6f 64 20 61 6e 64 20 66 61 69 72 20 49 20 64 6f 6e 27 74 May it be this the key to bind the chairs together in the correct way? The way of the "Old Wind"? Remember: Null is the entry point, where no chair is.
Actually tried using hex codes to solve the puzzle. Tried different variations of OLD WIND in different patterns that matched with the hex numbers and found no solution. Really thought we had something too, the 16 chairs seemed too coincidental for it not to be an aspect.
Okay wow... I haven’t been freaked out like this in a long time, I wasn’t even freaked out from that melted fetus story Whang made a video of, but this genuinely spooked me, it doesn’t help that the photos of Muriel and Robert look like old family members
Hey dude, appreciate your coverage of this - really enjoyed the low key explaination and retelling of your experience with the game; editing was great too!
I've been on the internet for a very long time, and I've seen almost every creepy pasta and scary video to the point where they aren't scary anymore but this, this is the most scary thing I've seen in years.
This game might be dead, there hasn't been an update in almost a year and the discord link is dead. It's been a good run boys, but sadly i think this'll remain a product of missed potential
By only going by what we have seen so far it seems she followed the rules, he broke the rules, and the Old Wind was all the way to the right might be a hint to the dark room maze. She being Muriel, he being Robert, and Old Wind to the right being the hint to go right to find Roberts hidden area. Her following the rules was the intended left path while him breaking them was the right path. It was Eleanor, father wasn't home, and Mr. Wheeler was there to greet me might be Courages responses to the situations. Eleanor I'm unsure of but father wasn't home might be Courage pointing out Eustace wasn't mentioned at all during the game, and Mr. Wheeler greeting me seems to be the ending where Wheeler walks up to him in the hallway. Now if we are assuming this is all actually related to stuff "outside" the game it sounds like a person knew this Eleanor. Their father wasn't home but Robert was there to greet them instead. The fact Robert has a knife on his picture and he looks frightening in the game might imply he, or the person who put the knife there wasn't the nicest person and killed Wheeler.

A saw an theory where it said that after Muriel dies, courage enters a deep depression that he starts to forget all his memories with Muriel because she was the only one who treat him well The circle with chairs represent courage mind. When Muriel appears as a player 2, that represent ghost Muriel, watching us. eustace decides to sell the house to a man named “Robert wheeler” (that’s why the pennies appears, they represent the money of the selling) and Robert decides to remodel the house. Eustace decides to give courage to Robert but courage is too sad that he can’t see Robert as a normal person, he sees him as a monster (just like the series) At the end when Robert gets closer to courage, he doesn’t want to hurt courage, he just want to pet him and give him love, but courage is too frightened and sad that he can’t realize that.
your channel just started 2 months ago ?? lordy, i know you'll go far! you made it very interesting to listen to the story in some way, like, instead of being the typical ' spooky top 15 ' person, you're like this detective that is actually fun to listen to you made this ARG a lot more engaging, so thank you! cant wait to hear the next part of this
10:15 I noticed that the square dots / chairs look different. The 8 of the chairs are normally red, And 7 of them are darker. But notice that there’s 1 gap on the left, and if you look at the bottom of the symbol, there appears that 2 to 4 chairs are missing. It could be a clue or it could be just the picture. “Why didn't superhorrorbro, the matpat or pixels after dark thought of it?”
In the game folder there is a read me that's says " if you find a dead end just erase time" maybe deleting the word time from the save files might do something
While there is no definite reason for this, the community has accepted that this explains what to do when reaching a DATA MISSING screen. As once you reach those, the game just reloads the same DATA MISSING screen until you erase the save file. Although no possibilities are closed as anything could potentially reach the hidden ending if its currently accessible.

Maybe Learn the way of the Old Wind and The Old Wind was all the way to the right mean that you have to go to the right on some point, maybe when the clock chimes. And also, there is a theory about that the creators of the tv show based the characters on a real life crime, and that the assasin is representated as Eustace, and the victim as Muriel or something (I don't remember on where I learnt that). Probably mr. Wheeler is the real life assasin (Eustace) and Muriel on both the game and the tv show are the victim.
I feel a big part as to why it’s so unnerving is the empty/liminal spaces. Something about the constant feeling that someone is around with no relief keeps us waiting for… something
I don't know why, but for some reason the phrase "Learn the way of the Old Wind" was connected to a new phrase. This one is connected to The Insolence, This actually makes sense since the new phrase is "Learn the way of the Old Wind. Idk but i hope we get more info soon since it's been too long and i get the feeling that it needs to be like Catastrophe Crow 64 and how we got more info but no answer so far: Search around the coding, files, textures and everything else in between Or it could also be that maybe this was all a "bogie-bogus trick" and we were overthinking it and the cameo of the spirit of the harvest moon in the game is literally just Robert, I mean it's similar somewhat with the faces and the tone and aura around both and with RW's weird long-limbed look could just possibly be what TSOTHM would look like if he had a body so in this second theory: Robert and The Spirit Of The Harvest Moon are either related or are indeed the same person

The fact that the story that Courage the Cowardly Dog was based off of the old couple seeing weird things and suddenly disappearing makes it even more eerie.

Old wind is probably referencing Eustace. Can't think of an older windbag.
Wouldn't 'Father wasn't home' be referring to Eustace instead? Since he hasn't been mentioned at all during the whole game.
Before watching this I was honestly expecting an official prototype that’s tied in with Cartoon Network Interactive. And then I saw it was an ARG… 😓
For real tho, it would’ve been so cool if there was an official Courage the Cowardly Dog video game.

Never played this game, yet it makes me feel weirdly nostalgic.
The show in and of it self is nostalgic, and the creators did a good job making the game as much like the show as possible. That could be why. Or…something VERY spooky is going on and you really DID play this game as a child. LOL 😂😭

@@dragonfye1Nah, I was born around 2010. I didn't even exist when this game would have been "cancelled."
I was about to be like "actually, that's not just a scary face, that's the Spirit of the Harvest Moon," but you MENTIONED it! Good on ya!
The chad Muriel: doesn't attack you, even tries to play with you.
The virgin "Robert": attacks you, crashes your emulation
Robert was probably trying to wake us up. Maybe courage was sleeping and they tried to wake him up but nothing. Robert somehow found his way into Courage's dream and come at him. Trying to wake him up from the dream.
little theory here
the episode's actually called 'House of Discontent', the apparition is called the Spirit of the Harvest Moon.
The text in hexadecimal looks like this:
44 6f 20 79 6f 75 20 72 65 6d 65 6d 62 65 72 20 61 20 74 69 6d 65 20 77 68 65 6e 20 74 68 65 20 77 6f 72 6c 64 20 77 61 73 20 67 6f 6f 64 20 61 6e 64 20 66 61 69 72 20 49 20 64 6f 6e 27 74
May it be this the key to bind the chairs together in the correct way? The way of the "Old Wind"? Remember: Null is the entry point, where no chair is.
Actually tried using hex codes to solve the puzzle. Tried different variations of OLD WIND in different patterns that matched with the hex numbers and found no solution. Really thought we had something too, the 16 chairs seemed too coincidental for it not to be an aspect.

This game might be dead, there hasn't been an update in almost a year and the discord link is dead. It's been a good run boys, but sadly i think this'll remain a product of missed potential
That Robert Wheeler ending legit spooked me, considering it’s like 1am here
By only going by what we have seen so far it seems she followed the rules, he broke the rules, and the Old Wind was all the way to the right might be a hint to the dark room maze.

It's nearly been a year, and multiple people have offered to help with the files but to no avail. Seems like a dead end for hits :( I really hope they also ask the person who hosted the yard sale if they had anything to do with making it
A saw an theory where it said that after Muriel dies, courage enters a deep depression that he starts to forget all his memories with Muriel because she was the only one who treat him well
The circle with chairs represent courage mind.
When Muriel appears as a player 2, that represent ghost Muriel, watching us.
eustace decides to sell the house to a man named “Robert wheeler” (that’s why the pennies appears, they represent the money of the selling) and Robert decides to remodel the house.
Eustace decides to give courage to Robert but courage is too sad that he can’t see Robert as a normal person, he sees him as a monster (just like the series)
At the end when Robert gets closer to courage, he doesn’t want to hurt courage, he just want to pet him and give him love, but courage is too frightened and sad that he can’t realize that.
Well it's been 2 years, the project was likely abandoned

I noticed that the square dots / chairs look different.
The 8 of the chairs are normally red,
And 7 of them are darker.
Although no possibilities are closed as anything could potentially reach the hidden ending if its currently accessible.
how do you erase the save file though?

Maybe Learn the way of the Old Wind and The Old Wind was all the way to the right mean that you have to go to the right on some point, maybe when the clock chimes.
And also, there is a theory about that the creators of the tv show based the characters on a real life crime, and that the assasin is representated as Eustace, and the victim as Muriel or something (I don't remember on where I learnt that). Probably mr. Wheeler is the real life assasin (Eustace) and Muriel on both the game and the tv show are the victim.
I always wanted a Courage The Cowardly Dog game I feel like the series had everything perfect for a horror game.
"Old Wind" Is a reference of one of the early Courage The Cowardly Dog episode where he
this... this actually unnerved me, i don't know why, but it just feels so... off...
This is your Time to save us from this prison, try your best to beat this, and we can be with you forever. But, do you remember a time, where the world was good and fair, I don't, but, I know who you are, try to save us. And we can be together again forever."
How about typing "old wind" or "wheeler" or something along those lines in the game.
I come from a small Hispanic community and I have to tell you that you did a very good job
I realized using the missing chairs when spelling old wind at the circled chairs can help guide which direction to spell it at
What i like about this is that its still pretty in line with the show.

Maybe a change of identity due to legal authorities and he was forced to change and make the world think he's passed away? Maybe that's why he had a change of name from "Winthrop" to "Wheeler" and also has a funeral placing?
Idk but i hope we get more info soon since it's been too long and i get the feeling that it needs to be like Catastrophe Crow 64 and how we got more info but no answer so far: Search around the coding, files, textures and everything else in between
Or it could also be that maybe this was all a "bogie-bogus trick" and we were overthinking it and the cameo of the spirit of the harvest moon in the game is literally just Robert, I mean it's similar somewhat with the faces and the tone and aura around both and with RW's weird long-limbed look could just possibly be what TSOTHM would look like if he had a body so in this second theory: Robert and The Spirit Of The Harvest Moon are either related or are indeed the same person
IMO,this is one of the best looking creepypasta/arg thingy I've seen.Like it actually looks like a PS1 game, and I feel like it is because it had a 'starting point' in terms of designs, with Courage existing prior to the arg, like,in Crow 64,the idea of it all looking retro was there in the beggining which made the character look too blocky
The ways of the old wind might reference the episode with the ghost vikings and the windmill hidden engravings

1. start with the O
2. then form the L
