What would be the features of such a collaboration Chris? Would it have a Bourbon bezel? Titanium or bronze case and rawhide leather strap? So many ideas, so little time 😁 Hey Jack Mason it's time to do this amazing collaboration.
Happy Father's Day and I live in the Dallas area and I've met Peter and he's a great guy with some great design ideas. I own a Hydrotimer and it's one of the nicest watches in my collection and the Jack Mason brand is really on track to be a major microbrand player.
love how you hang on the lume shot as you close out the videos. most youtubers dont even bother to turn the lights all the way off when they do a lume shot!
The black tie version is killer. Might have to get one of these down the road. Met Peter at a Watch Time event in DC earlier this year. Very nice guy.

The price needs to come down way more …bulova sells Wilton gmt with the same movement for $600ish …Chris you’ve convinced me to check out the bulova yellow Marine Star!
Totally agree this is WAY too expensive, when you look at what you can get from cw and even San Martin and phiobus cronos, also I got a spb 297blue birch from Seiko for 600pounds. There is àlot of other brands out there
It's great to see the brand refining an already solid product, especially with the same price. I plan on getting one at some point in the next year, but I need to pick a color. That green is cool, but I would probably wear the blue/black more frequently. I've tried these on (including the ones in the video) and they're really nice. The only improvement I could think of would be to make the 12 o'clock lume pip a different color for easy orientation in the dark. I think a WatchChris collab version would be cool. As somebody else mentioned, they did do a WatchCrunch Strat-o-timer limited edition, so there is precedent. The Dr Pepper one is really cool and it would have been cool to have that as a regular production version. They literally have no colorway I would not wear. They're all great!

I really like these and they look even better in person. Really awesome. I just can’t get on board for that price. I’m not shelling out $1k for a Miyota.
That's a shame. You know they're regulated to +/- 5spd, have sapphire front and back, 200m, on-the-fly adjust with quick release (their seven link jubilee is on par with the crown's - it's actually finished better than the crown's). The entire watch screams quality. I bought the dark night Strat-o-timer a while ago and absolutely love it - no regrets, brother.
I would have purchased one or a couple other Jack Masons (handled a few at watch shows) but not with the date window at 3 o'clock though they do seem to be terrific pieces otherwise.

As a Texan, I wanna go all in on this gorgeous watch. But I prefer smaller cases these days...hope they get around to something smaller.
Fellow Texan here, too. Go for it, brother. It's only 40mm; that's a sweet spot for most. I love my Strat-o-timer - it wears beautifully and very comfortably on my 6.5 inch wrist. Hope that helps. You have to experience their fantastic seven link jubilee; it's finished better than the crown's, quite frankly.

The addition of a hardness coating is great!! The white looks phenomenal, just wish the GMT hand was more red. It looks way more orange in the vid (which make it too explorer-y imo). Expensive for sure, but a VERY nice watch.
Wish they’d offer the other colorways with the upgrades. I’d buy a new version of their “Batman” right now!
No idea why the Dr Pepper was a limited edition. It killed the want for me as none of their offerings match it, in my opinion. P.S. the Magnolia version is pretty sweet!
just got my red rose dial manual wind with jubilee from MERKUR excellent !!!!!
I picked up the Americana in 2023 and liked it so much that I decided to get the green dial magenta. I love the lume.
I own the candy corn coloration, orange / black bezel, silver face. I love it, get compliments every time I wear it. Great quality!
wish it was bigger. luckily it's not so I saved some money. lol.

OK. First off, I was One of The Purchasers of the limited Edition "Dr. Pepper". So as I'm Looking at these "New" Releases, I'm Not At All impressed. It's just New Dial Colors....with those same Ugly hr Markers.
I read there is really no 24 hours in a day but it's about 23 hours and 56 minutes. That's why watch manufacturers do not put the 24th hour on the bezel. The Rolex GMT Master for example has an inverted triangle instead of 24. So does the Seiko 5 GMT.
Idk why people who decide to start a watch brand and name the company their first and last name. It’s a for sure way to stop people from buying it regardless how they look.

Named after the 4 year old son of a business partner. Not the same thing. But then this "discussion " is silly. The watches are popular in spite of anyone's opinion of the company name.
