Thanks for your informative video. I don’t have a Mustang, but I have a 1984 Porsche 944. I have been thinking about making it a drag car, but it is a non-turbo car so it is slow. I like the idea of staging things and some of the ideas that you mentioned could be applicable. Many people go all in and put in an LS and make it a traditional solid axle car, but spend years before they can take it down the strip. I will definitely look at ways to improve performance incrementally before I get to needing to go to the extreme to build a full on race car. Thanks for sharing your insight.
PS. I am Canadian also and Luskville, QC is my closest track. I went there on Friday to watch some pro and semi-pro racers. It seems like deep pockets are needed to take it seriously. It would only be a hobby for me.

@@robturner7853 Thanks Rob, appreciate the reply back and I agree with different approaches to a build. I created the video in Stages for people to enjoy their car and also for budget purposes, so I hope it helps out some!
As far as the subframe connectors, the through the floor are a pain in the butt and those are on my coupe in the background. I personally prefer the square full length subframe connector in particular the Steeda Full Lenght. I have those currently on my Terminator Cobra and have used them on several coupes so those are my go too. They fit great and I like that they come with a torque box reinforcement plate as well. Great tip on the A/C....I haven't seen a specific street car night in our area for awhile. Our TNT's are a mixed from mild to wild, but they do run a street class no prep! 🏁

One of the best mods you can do is the "driver mod" learn your car, learn to drive and be consistant. Personally I've dropped over a full second learning to launch and shift better.

That's exactly what occurred to me but I was much younger at the time and didn't plan ahead. I was running a slick with the stock rearend and boom; I snapped an axle. That was an expensive tow home from Cayuga which is an 1.5 hours away for me. Thanks for watching, have a great day!! 🤙🏁
