Great racer. I have a signed poster of him racing Billy from SRC in the Falcon at Da Pad. He's also the reason I gave the oil-less turbos from Comp Turbos a try and I've never been happier. Being able to position a turbo in any orientation is a total game changer when it comes to packaging.
Hearing of beater bomb about a year and a half ago makes me a proud owner of an 1982 4 eye fox with the 5.0 302 with the 4 speed manual. My dad bought it when I was 1 year old off his best friend and handed me the keys on my 16th birthday. Still rust free (we live in Ontario canada) and has been off the road since 08 because of dads growing family. Started and ran every year so it wouldn’t go bad. Needs a nice restoration but still has 96,000 original kms on it. Loveeeee that car that’s why I’m a gear head today
People that aren’t from Ontario can’t understand how big of a feat that is man. Our climate is bad enough and then add all the road salt and 3 year old vehicles have rust.

That’s why that cars never seen the road past October until April as long as it’s been in the family and it never ever will😅🤣 the restoration is getting started in the next year or so by dad and I and it’s getting completely blacked out with a nice B303 cam🤙🏻

Joey you're the man and a fine example of sportsmanship to follow. Friend of mine who is very successful in racing also preaches that 90% of what it takes to win is done before you arrive at the track.

Joey is what a true sportsman and top shelf dude looks like. Brings out the very best in everyone around him, they need it to beat him. He is on top because he not only mastered the car he mastered being a good person. Look at who is on top with him and you will see similar character.

I enjoy this content. I didn't grow up in racing. I didn't have a dad that shared the hobby with me. I've grown into the tiny knowledge I possess and learning the history of such a huge player in the motorsports community is rad.

I've been following this channel since Cleetus was still in 1320 crew. That was a great interview on SRC with him and Billy after that race! Straight up good dude, Billy needed a part for the finals and Joey gave it to him without hesitation costing him the win... He even admitted years ago he wouldn't have done it... Mad respect for that... He and Billy go 100% every race but in the end they understand racing sportsmanship.... They are the future of this sport.

Lucky to have one. Here in Nova Scotia I see a foxbody on the streets once in a blue moon and it always puts a smile on my face.
