Especially if you line up the the ACR and Speed12. Just throw literally everything we have in the shop at it and put it on the track. Outside of inbore suspension, the Gen 4 ACR is very much geared towards murdering the driver just after you set a fastest lap time. How I imagine it feels to drive a Speed12 at the limit.

Drivetribe, you guys and girls have made yet another amazing video. Featuring an epic piece of automotive history. I first saw/knew about the car when it appeared in Gran Turismo 2 as it was a reward car for one of the higher tier racing events. It always was a bit of a handful on the game

    Loved this.
The original Gran Turismo introduced me to TVR and a "normal" cerbera has been a dream car ever since.
I had forgotten the speed 12 was supposedly based on the cerbera but seems obvious looking at it now. Still looks great to me all these years later.

This, to me, is my ultimate driving machine/ beast. Even when we raced it in GT3, we knew how scary, yet exciting it was. Even though you had in your arsenal, it was only pulled out on special occasions. Two Dodge Vipers slammed together; my heart is racing just thinking about!

@jameswheeler5025 Doesn't need to be if all it does is disappear off into the distance. The car is stupidly fast and borderline undriveable at speed around corners. I've had it spin its rear wheels all the way through 5th gear in Forza Motorsport, and that was trying to drive in a straight line up to the first corner of the Sunset whatever oval in the game, where, with some tweaking of the rear wing, I could get it to stick just barely enough through the corners to do 380 kph around the track.

@@VishnuRajam4x4 I’ll have to check that out. I posted this before I watched the whole video. Didn’t realize he wouldn’t be driving it. I can agree that at idle and revs it’s not the best but hearing this thing take off and pound through the gears is audibly one of the best experiences you can have.

Mike, what a brilliant video, sat here in Manila on the way to work (I am not driving) in my car came across this update. Back in 2002 during my annual visit to see friends at the factory I had the pleasure of sitting in the Speed 12, the bonnet is just a sea of red and no chance of seeing the road and an awesome sound. Not a car you can just jump into though and have to be a contortionist to get through the roll cage :). Also the video has brief glimpses of three of my cars, what a pleasant surprise, My 3000S prototype one of only six cars and has no boot, my TAIMAR resto-mod a very special project. The attention to detail by Brian Hosfeild (ex race engineer TVR) and his sublime team is outstanding. The body shell (3000S) outside is for a future project (electric). I have a Griff here in Manila and keep the TVR flag flying. Thank you again super video amazing car.

Legendary! As a massive TVR fan the Speed 12 is the pinnacle for me. Loved watching its development and hearing about the testing stories and was saddened to hear of the cancellation of its production then ultimately the demise of TVR. Yet another great British car builder gone with any luck they can get the new Griffith to production but I'm not holding my breath.
