Hey everyone... It was inevitable! I've since upped the power of my Nissan GT-R - check it out : ruclips.net/video/A7f8gQ1w3Mk/видео.html
Absolutely love the GT-R, such a distinct noise and aura around it! And at such an accessible price range too! Great video again
aura lol
@@peterwood2633 my bad
@@seandevenney1530 no probs my man! You're right though it does have that Godzilla presence
Accessible price range, what kind of job do you have?
@@nickiminaj6921 he means for like a super car
Great comment on what's important in life. If you step back and think about it, even if it's 5% driven and 95% parked... a lot of that 95% of that is spent asleep. So go for it. Superb review, I appreciate how frank you are about what you like and what you don't. Exactly what I was looking for. It's like the car is your SO!
I love that analogy "feel like a fighter pilot amongst cessnas" 😂😂 class!!
Enjoyed that, any scotsman who can pull off 'comunicative' in a video is top man!
What a fantastic Car looks good with the new decals really enjoyed the video Regards Simon
The GT-R vs R8 comparison you mentioned was key for me. Thanks for this video mate.
what is better ? @henryi9738
Another absolutely cracking video !
Thanks!
Awesome bro ! Love all your videos !
Thanks Shahzeel! I appreciate it big time.
When I’m cruising at slow speeds I often drive it semi auto & flick the paddle, it’s just 2nd nature like driving a manual.
Has yours got the latest gearbox map?
I do agree what you say about the size! They feel so big down the little lanes of Surrey where I live.
Love your videos fella, look forward to more soon.
My GTR is a CBA Litchfield Stage 3 also. Cheers
Must be said great review. Great presenting.
Love the videos mate keep them up! I watched everyone one of your R8 videos before buying my manual v8 last year (also white like yours 👌) and am currently looking to swap to a GTR so yours vids have been very helpful! Wondered why the gtr feels so wide when on paper it’s a good 10+cm narrower than the r8? Love to hear your thoughts!
A v8 R8 and a GTR are my dream cars and you've had both of them! So cool! A GTR is a little above my price point, so I'm looking to get myself a Nismo RS Juke to satisfy my GTR cravings lol. I think that would be a good car for you to make a buyers guide on. The juke is a nippy little ride with the 1.6t.
I’ve always loved the GTR the sound this thing makes is just unbelievable.
Little spoiler... it's since gotten new downpipes and a different exhaust! Video next week.
Excellent video, presentation and content, thanks!
Your welcome. Thanks for watching!
Not too shabby !
My absolute dream car and such good value for money. I’m planning to get one in around 2 years time. Can’t wait for the day I look out my window and see one of these sat on my drive
This is really insightful - I feel like it would be a fantastic weekend car. How has it been on maintenance for you? Do you work on it yourself?
Bloody love ❤️ this thing will get my self one
one of my dream cars for sure
Hey Brian. If your local to us in Scotland your welcome to a passenger ride any time! Thanks for watching 🙏
Good review, I feel exactly the same about my GT-R, the automatic mode of the transmission just sucks and I drive it all the time in manual mode. Stepping on the gas a bit while downshifting helps it so much and it feels less clunky. Don't be afraid to maintain it guys, it is literally the best car I've ever owned. Get one while you can. You can't do much wrong - beside of killing the gearbox :)
Mine seems like it's out of gas from a dead stop on acceleration but after first gear it's great. But taking out in the freeway that's a fun part 😜
Hey man nice video.
question: r35 vs R8 what would you choose? Also if you were looking to upgrade to a different car what would it be ?
For a first time owner myself, your sub 40/50 is gospel. I often feel like I'm over focusing on how to drive even though that amounts to 2 pedals. It's a weird one
What a beast 😍
Couldn’t agree more!
I've had mine for 2 months & i love driving it but not in traffic for said reasons. Actually,
not true,i do enjoy it driving anywhere, i just change to manual mode & resume loving it.
Excellent video 📹
Lucky man 👨
Thanks!
Well done thats a great review. Honestly the points made in this video are exactly how I feel about my car 🤣 i find that sometimes having the gearbox in R mode makes it a bit less lazy but still its keen to try get up the gears quickly. Also when you have it in manual mode, the gear levers attached to the steering collum instead of the steering wheel is frustrating but at least they rectified it in the EBA models
Thoughts on 911 turbo s 992 ?? Would you consider it as good as the GTR ? Why ? Asking this question cause you said RS6 RS7 not as good as GTR and i want to understand what is going on exactly.
Those modifications you've mentions are NOT Stage 3.
That's 2. Stage 3 includes forged pistons, rods, camshaft, larger turbo... etc. Basically rebuilding the engine
It does the same thing in the c43 I feel like it’s a thing with 6 cylinder twin turbos
Everything in R and always in manual then its great 👍
This is probably the most realistic GTR review ive watched. So true about power, how much is enough for the street? 600+ awhp is amples. I have my 2021 STI tuned to 400awhp & il never use it on the street. Awesome review mate I really enjoyed listening to a realist.👍👍
Cheers from AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺
Cheers Mate! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Why don't you drive in manual mode? Seems like it would eliminate alot of those transmission gripes.
3:10 You cant choose your gear in the GTR? What are those paddles behind the steering wheel for?
All I know is that I want one!
You should try and get a shot of a earlier gtr
I was wanting to buy a r35 gtr to replace my R32 gtr but after driving a friend's car I did not want to my friend wanted to buy a r32 after driving my car
I didn't like not having a manual gearbox the sense of speed on the r35 gtr also put me off 100mph felt like it was doing 60
The r35 handled a lot better than my r32 gtr but the steering feel and connection to the car was no where near as good
straight line performance It didn't feel any faster I think my R32 pulled harder at high rpms
My R32 gtr is running 420whp 512fly it has tomei cams -5 turbos it's mapped on 95 Ron running just under 1.2 bar
Well I had a R33 GT-R and my friend a R32 GT-R. We both sold our cars and bought DBA's. His was a track edition. After a while he sold his 35 and i kept mine. He went back to buy his old 32 again. Same car. After the test drive after many years he was disappointed. He is searching for a new r35 again. I remember when i had my 33, I went and rented a 600hp r35. It blew my mind back then and i decided to sell my R33 and get one. Never going to sell this car. Might be my age (almost 40) but to me this is a much better car as a whole. Nissan nailed it back in 2008-9
Basically need a manual to be that more precise because me jumping from a 5 and 6 speed Multiple cars I can’t have that I need to throw the rpm’s and the wheels where I need them rather than that figuring for me and be not very responsive
You probably know this but in manual mode, there really is no lag, or being lazy.
Lot of the early UK models are starting to rust in quite a few places now.
Yep, under mirrors, boot lid, wheel arches seem to be the common spots. Not to mention rear subframe
That first issue of laziness I notice on my 370z. Especially when slowing down from 40mph to 20mph and then accelerating again. I have to give it more gas its weird.
Oh Yeah? Interesting to hear that you find similar on the 370z! I'll need to borrow one from a friend to compare.
@@ScottishCarClan Sounds good I would love to see a video if you find anything!
Are u paying a lot for insurance with all that power?
get many looks?
Been sitting on the fence about getting one currently looking at a 2019 with 8k miles are they good as a daily?
Model Year 2017 onwards are certainly a lot more refined than the earlier ones as a daily. So long as you don’t need to carry more than 1 passenger frequently and don’t lug tons of stuff around then I’d say go for it!
Oh and watch the buyers guide before you buy! ruclips.net/video/ugKeGvL4JFY/видео.html
@@ScottishCarClan thanks for replying 🙏 I'll definitely look into it
Own gtr best car ever black one
Turbo lagged maybe??
Where do you go for servicing?
JM Imports in Newcastle
Drive it in 2 when your putting it around..you’ll be in more control.
*Interior Space* - Jaguar XJS and the Gaydon era Aston Martin's are the worst I've ever experienced!
Good calls on the exterior to interior worst ratio offenders.
That’s camelon Main Street
Well spotted Stevie 😎
I get all those gear change comments but I never drive it in auto, manual is much more fun
Same Paul... its just a bit too lazy in auto! Thanks for the comment. Do you use the 'R' setting out of interest?
You should maybe get a gearbox map
That’s with a litchfield gearbox remap
@@ScottishCarClan that’s annoying it acts like that
Yo mate yr in camelon
Just drive it in manual mode. Auto's just there so people who can't drive can drive it as well lol.
Beyond jealous😂
Love a GTR, driven a couple on driving experience days and I much preferred a GTR to a Lambo and a Porsche I also had drives for.
Excellent video as always.
Thanks mate! Really appreciate you watching the vids
I can’t believe Nissan pulled it off as the rest of the cars are junk
There's barely a Nissan badge on it too!
