The GTR is definitely a car that aged very well , only thing I would change or add , would be a different key fob unique to the GTR with remote start , a new speedometer with possibly hud display and finally carbon fiber bits ( hood, side panels , boot lid and more ) to reduce Weight, Also a rear seat delete and or have them fold down . Other then that the GTR is a great daily driver as well as beast
You say this, and I tend to agree. But the weight of the GTR is as is for a specific reason, for the Factory version of the car to flow perfectly with it's mechanical capability and aerodynamic components. The car was designed perfectly to comply with regulations, blame the Feds in charge of safety as to why it's not "perfect" like the designers truly wanted, and like we all want. Gotta love regulations, they ruin all the fun.
It doesn't automatically cancel someone if they make a mistake like this, come on. So what if he mistook the R33 for the R32? Does that automatically cancel someone????
I got a 20 Premium just like your 21 over the winter. Great car. Steering as you say is right on. The ride is rough and the comfort button only turns on a green LED as far as I can tell. The M5 has a far better ride selection and a true comfort mode. The six speed gets it around town and shift quickly into top gear probably for fuel economy. The transmission is in the rear for better handling. I think it really helps the ride other than just weight distribution as there are 2 drive shafts. One goes from the engine to the rear transmission and the other goes from the transmission to the front wheels. Of course 0 - 60 is where it is at and the GT-R offers 2.8 seconds (I have heard of 2.7) so that is the acceleration that has the impact. I do get tired of all the Hemis and ZL1s always crawling up to my side, reving their exhausts and then jumping ahead. Is that all you got?
Yes it’s dated but I like how it’s been refined over the years. The price is good for what it offers. All prices have gone up so it really isn’t a negative, an SUV is now averaging 50k+. Love the Utah mountains in your videos.
That sure is some beautiful scenery headed out towards those mountains around 18:20. Reminds me of heading up into to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon area of California. The Nissan GTR is one of my all time dream cars. Sure, Lambo, Ferrari, Aston, and many other super cars.......but there's just something about this "Super Nissan" that appeals to me. And it's also nice you can take it to your local Nissan dealer in just about any city around for routine maintenance that won't totally strip your wallet to empty. Of course if you can afford one of these, what does that matter anyway. As they say....."If you have to ask.........." I do have a Nissan 370Z with several upgrades which by no means is even close to the performance of this legendary beauty, but it's not a bad sports car for what it's worth to be sure. The 335 horse 6 cylinder can move that little 370z like no tomorrow. And the sound on the 370z with a performance exhaust system is actually pretty close to what the GTR sounds like here.
I can't get over the price inflation on this model. I'm no basher, I grew up on Gran Turismo and I have held reverence for the GT-R name. But as iconic as it is, I would never pay that much for so little. The GT-R was never meant to be an exotic but more on the Corvette or S trim 911 level. An attainable drivers' car. At north of 6 figures you are competing with some serious stuff. For that money I would rather drive a Mercedes AMG GT variant or Aston DBS, etc. Hell, an imported R32 would be a better investment by far.

Are you sure yours doesn't pop and snap on rev? You might have a hard time hearing it inside the car, they are well insulated. Factory tunes add just a little fuel at the end of the throttle which detonate as the exhaust valves open. It's easier to hear if you have a louder aftermarket exhaust.

i have a 2020 white gtr only 1000 miles right now pretty much the same as 2021... but my question is ... every time i start the car its makes some weird noises like something is not right...the guys at the dealer dont know nothing about these cars...is that normal?
