100%-relate to all of those mentioned 4:04 extremely good review (as an owner), you summed up all our thoughts. seems like the car makes you have same ideas/thoughs, you went thru almost all of mine. gj
Thanks for another great, informative video. I’m currently running a Clio V6 phase 1 as my weekend toy, and I’m looking for a change. I first thought about going the usual BMW route, and going for a Z4 M Coupe. But I’d like to sample something different, and an R35 GTR must be the way to go. Your recent videos have convinced me....
I'm glad to see you like the GTR I also have an 09 that was built by Switzer performance here in America It was built to 1400 horsepower but I'm running pump fuel 93 octane at right around a 1000 horse this car would drive you crazy I've had everything done I put a stage 3 race transmission in much bigger breaks and this thing is just ready to go all the time you would have an absolute ball on this car good luck to whatever you're doing Hope to hear more from you..
I agree the gearbox, its like a tank. I agree 100% on the gearbox settings it shifts too early and its super low RPMs. The car is meant to be driven fast, that's its happy place. My GTR when I am down a drive always helps clear my head and cheer me up. Note on the transmission. Once anyone gets up beyond stock HP and big bump will require the clutch to have a harsher engadgment to it doesn't slip. You will need a tool like ECUtek to tune it.
Great review this! I had a very similar spec one to you, dreamt I’d own one from 13 finally got one in 2020 sold it in late 21 to fund a house project - haven’t replaced it haven’t a clue what would fill the GTR sized hole!! 😢
You deserve many more subs. Great work, good luck keeping it up. If I was swapping my GT-R, I would look for manual R8, manual 997.2 or the AMG GT. Or even the F-Type 5.0, which is great for tall dudes.
@@ViralRivers in your opinion and I understand that, being in Japan I've lost the wow factor of seeing a GTR. A Viper is more special than a GTR or C8 in my opinion.
Have you tried a 911 Turbo? I've always loved my nissans, but considering a 991 Turbo S now, to replace an R32 gtr, 350Z and VR6 Corrado, as I don't have time to be using all of them. R35 is the other car that would tick a lot of boxes for me, as it can be used for family day out, same as a 911.
Always wondered; how does one manage to drive such a beast and not write it off every week? 🤔 I can relate to having a ice car that makes you smile when your chips are down 🙏🏾👍🏾
Great video mate. Know exactly how you feel when you mentioned becoming attached to the car. Are you selling soon or perhaps in a year to two? I think I know which car you should get next ... TTRS ;)
What are the new wheels.. they look awesome 😎👌 most aftermarket wheels for the r35 tend to look absolutely 💩 I’m currently looking at letting my T6.1 2020 Vw transporter LWB camper go and putting that cash into a Gtr.. always loved the Gtr and since I owned a R33 Gtr v-spec some years back I’m looking to rekindle my love affair again with the Gtr albeit with the R35.
Congratulations on 13k subscribers. Very well deserved. Great channel keep up the good work!
Love this review..I'm coming up to my first full year of owning my R35. I absolutely love it

It's amazing what going for a spirited drive can do to clear a man's head. Nothing like loving your car.

This was a great review friend!
excellent well balanced review mate
Thank you mate 😁🙌🏼
Love your videos 🤟🏻
Seeing as you have owned both, what would you recommend from an audi R8 or a R35 GTR? As a weekend and summer fun toy 😎
I'd buy a C8, but to fair I'm in the states, I believe the the C8 is the best bang for buck car in the states.
Im from Australia . Can I ask why you Americans are hoarding all the jdm imports when you have local cars better value for money like the c8
@@uwish135 because some Americans spite domestic motors believe it or not 😅
Owning both the c8 and gtr be the c8 doesn't compare to the gtr in any category!!!!!!
Nothing special about owning a corvette, just a Chevy

what year is this model btw?
I’ve heard apparently the GTR is coming back in 2023
Yeah… I heard this too! Very interesting. I do wonder if it’s just rumours 🤔

@@ScottishCarClan confirmed mate, pics have been released have you seen them yet of the new gtr?
thx
a lot of power to for you just to drive to Lidl and Aldi ...
daily drive it, its better
The wheels look terrible
🥲
@@ScottishCarClan I would have chosen an all-black rim of the same if not similar design, BUT other than that your tire wheel set up is VERY Nice.
