Paul is right and the Bible does warn us of great deception and you believe God or this world. Science was created to decieve us and is the reason many don't believe in God. God says He made the earth fixed immovable on four pillars and that He made the earth first not any other planet then says that He made the firmament tinseparate the heavens and the earth and His throne sits on top of the firmament and that He made the sun, moon, and stars within the firmament not in outer space. Then it says they move not the earth and that the sun is the greater light and moon the lesser light. We have never been to the moon, you can't stand in it and if you notice the planets are all named after Gods and goddesses and he only mentions planet once when speaking of worshipping false gods and their false planets. The problem with the movement is that people try to use it as an evangelistic tool. It can work but it doesn't always work. Many in the movement have moved into a more exoteric way of thinking. I’m a little confused now first he says those who believe will be saved and go to heaven later he says only those who truly believe will go to heaven so in other words believing isn’t enough one has to truly believe because in other sermons he says believe and thou shalt be saved then goes on to say that some will continue to live like the devil and still be but isn’t that the same as truly not believing, he does encourage christians to serve God and mentions those that believe but never do anything for the Lord and be saved how is that truly believing, now I’m scratching my head doubting my salvation.

Dear Yankee Arnold: You've posed a good question about "Why they didn't receive houses and brethren and mothers and children..?" You are correct (they) died. And what the bible said they should get versus what actually happened were two different things. So it appeared as though the bible either didn't make sense or that it contradicted. Thank God we know that's not the truth! I am sure we agree that God cant lie. The disciples, though they walked with Jesus and heard all that is written, were not the "few chosen". As a result, there are lots of promises mentioned in the scripture which the disciples did not receive. And what we can learn from this is how there is a completely different set of opportunities that exist for those of us who "hear what the Spirit of God is saying". A good anchor for prayer and teaching is found in Hebrews 11:13. Hebrews 11 begins talking of all the great accomplishments of our faith heroes. But (the end of their conversation) is that they died! Not only that but they died "not having received the promise." So again we see not only the disciples but in fact most of the patriarchs not really operating in the fullness of God's Kingdom. They didn't understand how to. Are you beginning to see a pattern? In the absence of eternal life all faith is perished. And when this happens its sort of like would the resurrection is only partly occurring. That would be very terrible if it were true since the resurrection is where God's power comes from. Our power is not found in natural death. And mankind will never understand the kingdom by seeking from the context of a person's physical death. In that case we would all be better dying today. God forbid! I believe, with the Sons of God, that the Kingdom is revealed through the power of eternal life. And that this life is here for the few chosen, first fruits, first born from the dead, who are living in Christ as alive with authority over the grave. And just so you know, I am not concerned with whether one lives for100 or 1000 years. My concern is that we exercise the truth while we are here in earth and in our earthen vessels. , I think it would do well to search the scripture regarding (1st and 2nd resurrection) (1st and 2nd death). I am unsure as to why so few people teach on these things. we won't understand the scripture until we dedicate honest study, prayer, and lifestyle to the subjects of the word that so many will over look. So many will die, and yes they are in the faith but they physically perishing within the faith. They perish due to the second death (the natural one) and they do not receive the resurrection while they are on earth. You understand? They do not inherit the full promises even though they served God. But the scripture tells us, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power..."Revelation 20:6 I think that is enough words. I think it is better to trust God. I know that we all need one another and that with the truth as the substance of our faith, we have entered the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven.

I cannot find in scripture where God has ever elected gentiles. Do you believe Gentiles are elect, and if so is election required for Salvation? Ray
Scripture speaks on the Jews as the elect from my understanding. "For the elects sake those days shall be shortened" speaks on the time of Jacobs trouble, or the time leading up to it, and if God didn't shorten it, no Jews would remain.
There are several similar verses in the Scriptures with the same truth. Bro Arnold mentioned Romans 3: 22 which basically says the same thing as 1Timothy 4: 10. I pray this answers your question. :)
Those that are not chosen, is because they are not righteous. They are those who rejected repenting of their sin despite what Jesus taught. Mark 1:15 The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. REPENT and BELIEVE the good news!” Notice Jesus said Repent first then Believe. There are many being decieved today into thinking that all you have to do is say "I believed" at one point in my life and that is it. According to Jesus how can you believe in me, and yet reject repenting of your sin. Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one SINNER WHO REPENTS than over ninety-nine RIGHTEOUS persons who do not need to REPENT. Luke 24:47 And REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. These are some of the scriptures Jesus taught. Notice they do not say Believe only. Jesus clearly taught repenting of sin..
Gift is the key word. God repents in scripture and is no sinner. He changes his mind in every instance where it says "It repented the Lord" or "God repented of the evil he thought to do" If we are to be sinnless and perfect then nobody enters in, not you, not i. Righteousness is IMPUTED to us, it is not in our flesh to accomplish this, which is why we are given new and glorified bodies. Also key is that "no man may boast" we are not allowed to boast of our sinnless perfection. That's what you do when you act like you're perfect in your own right. "Repent from your unbelief, and BELIEVE" "And REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS" this does not read REPENT OF YOUR SINS, it reads REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS" don't put things into it... it does not say what you say. Repentance is the action of turning from unbelief to belief in Christ. From thinking "nothing is wrong with me" to "i'm a sinner and i need Jesus" "Over one sinner who repents" again... you are imposing "Repents of sin" then you take that to mean total cessation of sin in EVERY instance... it doesn't say that... you put that there. Do you see how you KEEP putting that in there and it's not there? Scripture never says "Repent of your sins" it reads "REPENT, that your sins may be blotted out"... you still sin, Jesus' blood BLOTS out sins. Do you understand brother? I hope so, because that's what SAVES YOU. Many figures in the bible sinned, they had incest, they got hammered, they went into brothels etc... etc... and these men were saved, not by their own deeds, but by their faith. King David MURDERED a guy and took his wife... he paid for this, but he is not lost brother! Another mistake i often see is you think i'm telling you, you have license to sin. We still suffer when we sin, and we still can lose rewards. “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. True repentance leads a person to acknowledge and change their mind (renounce sin,) to God and prove it with a 180-degree change of their lifes direction. Your life was going in one direction (sin) and you make a decision of the heart and mind to take your life in the opposite direction with His help. Repentance requires true brokenness. Romans 11 explains how God has made a plan for the Jews and Gentiles alike to get into heaven of GRACE, and not of works. People were salty over the Jews, and Paul had to explain that their being graffed back in, is the fullness of grace.

I’m a little confused now first he says those who believe will be saved and go to heaven later he says only those who truly believe will go to heaven so in other words believing isn’t enough one has to truly believe because in other sermons he says believe and thou shalt be saved then goes on to say that some will continue to live like the devil and still be but isn’t that the same as truly not believing, he does encourage christians to serve God and mentions those that believe but never do anything for the Lord and be saved how is that truly believing, now I’m scratching my head doubting my salvation.
Folks, "Many are called but few are chosen" This is a basic bibical fact that is, many hear the gospel call but most do not do nothing only those that God has chosen from the foundation of the world read, Eph. 1:3-6.

in John 15 Jesus is talking to the disciples, it is about service that they were chosen, the context is not referencing salvation

Dear Yankee Arnold: You've posed a good question about "Why they didn't receive houses and brethren and mothers and children..?" You are correct (they) died. And what the bible said they should get versus what actually happened were two different things. So it appeared as though the bible either didn't make sense or that it contradicted. Thank God we know that's not the truth! I am sure we agree that God cant lie. The disciples, though they walked with Jesus and heard all that is written, were not the "few chosen". As a result, there are lots of promises mentioned in the scripture which the disciples did not receive. And what we can learn from this is how there is a completely different set of opportunities that exist for those of us who "hear what the Spirit of God is saying".
A good anchor for prayer and teaching is found in Hebrews 11:13. Hebrews 11 begins talking of all the great accomplishments of our faith heroes. But (the end of their conversation) is that they died! Not only that but they died "not having received the promise." So again we see not only the disciples but in fact most of the patriarchs not really operating in the fullness of God's Kingdom. They didn't understand how to. Are you beginning to see a pattern? In the absence of eternal life all faith is perished. And when this happens its sort of like would the resurrection is only partly occurring. That would be very terrible if it were true since the resurrection is where God's power comes from. Our power is not found in natural death. And mankind will never understand the kingdom by seeking from the context of a person's physical death. In that case we would all be better dying today. God forbid! I believe, with the Sons of God, that the Kingdom is revealed through the power of eternal life. And that this life is here for the few chosen, first fruits, first born from the dead, who are living in Christ as alive with authority over the grave. And just so you know, I am not concerned with whether one lives for100 or 1000 years. My concern is that we exercise the truth while we are here in earth and in our earthen vessels.
, I think it would do well to search the scripture regarding (1st and 2nd resurrection) (1st and 2nd death). I am unsure as to why so few people teach on these things. we won't understand the scripture until we dedicate honest study, prayer, and lifestyle to the subjects of the word that so many will over look. So many will die, and yes they are in the faith but they physically perishing within the faith. They perish due to the second death (the natural one) and they do not receive the resurrection while they are on earth. You understand? They do not inherit the full promises even though they served God. I think that is enough words. I think it is better to trust God. I know that we all need one another and that with the truth as the substance of our faith, we have entered the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven.

I hope you read this Pastor Yankee. I've been in debate with a few Calvinist recently who all claim election for them selves. For my self I do not believe I'm elect. I cannot find in scripture where God has ever elected gentiles. Do you believe Gentiles are elect, and if so is election required for Salvation?

Scripture speaks on the Jews as the elect from my understanding. "For the elects sake those days shall be shortened" speaks on the time of Jacobs trouble, or the time leading up to it, and if God didn't shorten it, no Jews would remain.

Those that are not chosen, is because they are not righteous. They are those who rejected repenting of their sin despite what Jesus taught.

Notice Jesus said Repent first then Believe.
There are many being decieved today into thinking that all you have to do is say "I believed" at one point in my life and that is it.

Jesus clearly taught repenting of sin..
Gift is the key word. God repents in scripture and is no sinner. He changes his mind in every instance where it says "It repented the Lord" or "God repented of the evil he thought to do" If we are to be sinnless and perfect then nobody enters in, not you, not i. Righteousness is IMPUTED to us, it is not in our flesh to accomplish this, which is why we are given new and glorified bodies.
Also key is that "no man may boast" we are not allowed to boast of our sinnless perfection. That's what you do when you act like you're perfect in your own right.

Repentance is the action of turning from unbelief to belief in Christ. From thinking "nothing is wrong with me" to "i'm a sinner and i need Jesus"
"Over one sinner who repents" again... you are imposing "Repents of sin" then you take that to mean total cessation of sin in EVERY instance... it doesn't say that... you put that there. Do you see how you KEEP putting that in there and it's not there?
Scripture never says "Repent of your sins" it reads "REPENT, that your sins may be blotted out"... you still sin, Jesus' blood BLOTS out sins. Do you understand brother? I hope so, because that's what SAVES YOU.
Many figures in the bible sinned, they had incest, they got hammered, they went into brothels etc... etc... and these men were saved, not by their own deeds, but by their faith. King David MURDERED a guy and took his wife... he paid for this, but he is not lost brother!

God repented only in the Old Testament which was written in Hebrew. In Hebrew Repent means turn around from. So in Jonah 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; (They REPENTED) and God repented(TURNED FROM) of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
They repented of sin to avoid judgment.

I'm not saying we have to be sinless.
The blood of Jesus washes aways sin but to receive it one first must repent (change their mind) about their sinfulled life.
True repentance leads a person to acknowledge and change their mind (renounce sin,) to God and prove it with a 180-degree change of their lifes direction.
Your life was going in one direction (sin) and you make a decision of the heart and mind to take your life in the opposite direction with His help.
Repentance requires true brokenness.
Repentance is not asking the Lord for forgiveness with the intent to go back to the sin(s) again.
Repentance is an honest, regretful acknowledgement of sin with a heartfelt desire to change.
Just as Saul of Tarsus did when he repented and became the Apostle Paul.
Next believe that Jesus died on the cross was buried and rose again for the punishment of our sins.

What God wants is for all people to produce fruit to demonstrate genuine repentance by a change in your life from sin. Many are predestinated, and yes Jeremiah God knew before he was ever born. How is that possible? Did you know that you must be born again has been misinterpreted. What it really says is that you must be born from ABOVE. It also says that you must be born of blood and water, or Flesh, and water. What is the first thing that happens when a woman has a baby? Her water breaks. Simple. Many were not only predestinated but were also justified. What does that mean? It means that they were justified in the first age, and stood with God in the first age.
