@@36742650885 let me help you.....you are placing to much on yourself. Let me give you an example. Say I have 10 units of faith. I place 8 units of faith in Jesus and 2 units on works. But you who have very little faith are able to muster only 2 units of faith...but you place those two units on Jesus and zero in works.... well you then have saving faith and I have zero saving faith. What ever little faith you have just place it all on Jesus. He gets you to heaven, not anything you can do. God bless

its a long story but i will cut it short - most of my life has been in hell - but i am over that now - i was trying to find God - i watched lots of things on the internet and it was wrong but in the in the UK i met a man who said he believed in GOD JESUS and i said to him so do i - i then went out and got me a KJV Bible and gave my self to GOD JESUS AMEN
I know what you mean Elizabeth, Is hard to find a biblical church that preaches and practices the whole council of God.And then there are divisions and wimpy Pastors, programs that adopt heresies etc etc But we must keep looking and don't expect a perfect church, because we need to be baptized and to participate in communion, also we are needed there too for the strengthening of the weaker in the faith.And to be accountable to the hidden body of Christ.
what happens to the atheists who reject Jesus but someday accept him? had they already committed the unforgivable sin? how about the Christian who knew Jesus then rejected him but then came back was the unforgivable sin already committed?
No, unbelief can be forgiven when one turns to belief. :) Unbelief is not the unforgivable sin like Yankee is implying, at least I don't think it is. It _is_ true that if you die in unbelief, you won't be forgiven for unbelief but, today, while you are still alive, you have the chance to change your mind and believe the gospel and be forgiven for unbelief. Does that make sense? Rejection of Jesus, to me, doesn't seam to be the same thing as blasphemy of The Holy Spirit. Although The Holy Spirit is One Person in The Trinity *(1 John 5:7-8),* Jesus makes the clear distinction between blasphemy against The Father and The Son (Jesus) and blasphemy against The Holy Spirit. Two will be forgiven and one won't. Blasphemy against The Father and The Son will be forgiven but blasphemy against The Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. If someone chooses to believe the gospel before they die (accepting Jesus Christ), they will be forgiven of their unbelief because they now believe. To me, it seems blasphemy of The Holy Spirit is something *VERY* serious and more than just unbelief. The above is my opinion but I don't claim to know the answer 100%. If I'm wrong, may God forgive me. I'm certainly not trying to mislead anyone with my thoughts on the matter.
Also, I truly believe that if a believer turns to unbelief at some point due to false doctrines or something like that, it does not make null and void The Lord's salvation given to that person when they first believed. Don't let false doctrines of lordship salvation and calvinism trip you up. :)
Rolling Cottage no person can not come to Jesus Christ except by way of Holy Spirit. We all reject Jesus until the Holy Spirit convicts us. If we reject Jesus while the Holy Spirit is convicting them then that is blastfeming against the Holy Spirit. It is seeing Christ working miracles knowing theure of God, any Hebrew knows that Massiah would heal the blind which no other has done before Jesus, after seeing these Godly miracles and choosing to say they are of the devil, and also teaching others the same instead of believing unto salvation, those people will never be saved because they would never come to Christ because they choose to refuse to believe.
I think you just said what the blaspheme of the holy spirit is in that verse in Matthew 12 Jesus casted out the Devils by the spirit when someone says it is by the devil and it's really by the spirit that is blasphemy against the spirit
This pastor like all other pastors, will tell you that the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is this or that, but can not actually can they give what the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit really is ? In the book of Mark 13 Christ Jesus gives what the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is and when it can happen and who can commit it.
I don't think Yankee correctly interpreted the passage, either. Unbelief can be forgiven when one changes their mind _from_ unbelief _to_ belief. Overall, I love Yankee's messages and think he's on target most of the time but not so sure about this one. I read Mark 13 but don't see what you're talking about, either.

The gospel is the power for salvation. I know what you mean Elizabeth, Is hard to find a biblical church that preaches and practices the whole council of God.And then there are divisions and wimpy Pastors, programs that adopt heresies etc etc But we must keep looking and don't expect a perfect church, because we need to be baptized and to participate in communion, also we are needed there too for the strengthening of the weaker in the faith.And to be accountable to the hidden body of Christ.

No, unbelief can be forgiven when one turns to belief. :) Unbelief is not the unforgivable sin like Yankee is implying, at least I don't think it is.
It _is_ true that if you die in unbelief, you won't be forgiven for unbelief but, today, while you are still alive, you have the chance to change your mind and believe the gospel and be forgiven for unbelief. Does that make sense?
Rejection of Jesus, to me, doesn't seam to be the same thing as blasphemy of The Holy Spirit. Although The Holy Spirit is One Person in The Trinity *(1 John 5:7-8),* Jesus makes the clear distinction between blasphemy against The Father and The Son (Jesus) and blasphemy against The Holy Spirit. Two will be forgiven and one won't. Blasphemy against The Father and The Son will be forgiven but blasphemy against The Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
If someone chooses to believe the gospel before they die (accepting Jesus Christ), they will be forgiven of their unbelief because they now believe.
To me, it seems blasphemy of The Holy Spirit is something *VERY* serious and more than just unbelief. The above is my opinion but I don't claim to know the answer 100%. If I'm wrong, may God forgive me. I'm certainly not trying to mislead anyone with my thoughts on the matter.
Also, I truly believe that if a believer turns to unbelief at some point due to false doctrines or something like that,
it does not make null and void The Lord's salvation given to that person when they first believed. Don't let false doctrines of lordship salvation and calvinism trip you up. :)

If we reject Jesus while the Holy Spirit is convicting them then that is blastfeming against the Holy Spirit. In the book of Mark 13 Christ Jesus gives what the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is and when it can happen and who can commit it.
I don't think Yankee correctly interpreted the passage, either. Unbelief can be forgiven when one changes their mind _from_ unbelief _to_ belief. Overall, I love Yankee's messages and think he's on target most of the time but not so sure about this one.

That sounds like an interpretation of man. *Mark 13* isn't talking about blasphemy of The Holy Spirit, and you'd see that if you read in context. If *Mark **13:11* was speaking about blaspheming The Holy Spirit, Jesus would have said so clearly, as He did in *Matthew **12:31**-32.*
That passage also doesn't say blasphemy of The Holy Spirit "only happens during the tribulation." Seems you're reading into that.

The gospel is the power for salvation. When we understand our indelible sinful condition before God and also His Holiness and grace towards us we turn away from ourselves and towards Him, calling upon His name and picking up our crosses following Him by His Word. I believe many have made a doctrine out of the word repentance which to me also mean to feel sorrow either before or after our conversion, both.

My salvation is assured.
