I struggled hugely with fruit-inspecting myself to see if I was saved from 2010-2012, almost gave up Christianity out of sheer exhaustion in 2012, then continued having periods of deep spiritual depression and doubts right up to 2017. Praise God, He finally showed me the truth and simplicity of the gospel in 2017, that in Him, we are made righteous, I have been SEALED with the Holy Spirit. No longer do I look to myself to determine my state with God, but look to His SON for that assurance. He's faithful, so there's no need to fear or doubt.

@@joannecendana you really actually do have to give up. There is nothing that you can do to aid or add to your salvation. You really need to realize that Jesus did it all for you and just believe that. Being saved is not at all about behavior modification, as almost any church would have you believe. Don't be frustrated, just rest knowing how much God loves you and what he's done for you. I pray heaps of blessing upon you sister.

As far as I'm concerned, Jesus has already taken away my sin. I just rest in Him and praise Him all the day long! It's true that the Spirit is the Comforter but so we believers ought to be towards one another, too. "Therefore, comfort ONE ANOTHER with these words." Dr Ralph is a faithful son. He directs people to Jesus. I'm sure that God is delighted in Him.

Brother, you’re not kidding. I’ve gotten to the point that I have to sometimes try to steer clear and ignore comments, because it results in frustration and even anger, and then we’re potentially hurting our own testimonies.
People are going to find out the hard way, and that’s frustrating, too.
Part of our sinful nature is believing in our own power which stems from pride, the true enemy of God. Therefore, many believe they can control their own salvation when the Bible goes to lengths to explain to us we can't. Once we accept the gospel (1 Cor 15), we pass from death to life, just as Jesus said (John 5:24).

This has been on my heart, and in fact will be the subject of my teaching in a missions trip I will part of i the Philippines next month.
So many people are under the false impression that leading a sinless life will ensure salvation. I am sure you would agree that we are called to grow and get victory over sin, but that victory is not how we achieve salvation, We have been saved through the actions of Jesus on the cross. Saved by grace through faith. We then on a path to be more like Jesus and be the overcomers we a destined to be through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I do hope that you won't be splitting the church over the NIV KJV nonesense. You need to teach the difference between justification and sanctification. Salvation from the consequences of sin is justification. Once you are saved, if you truly put your faith in Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour, your eternal life is in His hands ✋ ✋. Nothing can snatch you from His hands. Sanctification, on the other hand ✋, is a process in which we learn to reduce our sinning, or rather increase our Christlikeness. Hopefully, we will continue to become more like Jesus, but if we slip we cannot lose our salvation. May God bless and keep you.

The only issue I have is that little babies die not because they sin but because they came from Adam and under that condemnation of death because of his sin but as far as being separated from God because they personally sinned they won’t because Jesus is the last Adam and took that curse of separation from God that Adam brought on the whole human race.

But we still do. First John 1:8 and first John 1:10. Only self righteous hypocrites believe they have no sin.
When we trust Jesus as the only way of salvation and receive the free gift, He Imputes His perfect righteousness to us and will no more impute sin to our account. Romans 4:6-8. What a trade. Our good works do not justify us. Remember, they are filthy rags. Only Christ and our faith in Him justify us. Else His work on the cross was pointless. The fact that we want to serve Him is grace. I always wondered if my belief was correct and I think God finally answered my years of suffering. I was doing a Bible study called Redeemed, by Angela Pharr. In it she says the only way your belief isn’t enough, is if you are pretending. I know I’m not pretending so that seemed to answer adequately my long struggle. Other than that my life changed. My desires changed. I didn’t try to stop watching worldly stuff and music etc… it just happened. Cursing started stinging my spirit, sin started hurting my spirit, and fruits began to grow.
I still sin, but I hate it. I wish I never experienced it.
I wish God could come and have a chat with me and make it all better.
God cannot lie. So the King James Bible isn't just a "good translation" it is the perfect written word of God (scripture) the kjv has no errors at all or lies at all. It is perfect

This splitting of the person leads to the error of those the preacher identified at the beginning. That of those who claim not to sin because the Bible says that those who believe in Jesus cannot continue sinning. Care must be taken to distinguish between the two natures and the difference between justification once and for all sins' consequences and sanctification, the process of growing in Christlikeness.
You are saved by grace not by works. We did not do anything to earn it. We cannot lose our salvation if we could lose it we would all lose it. If you fell into deep sin you will not lose salvation but you will not get your eternal rewards.

I thought I got saved... But I still struggle with sin. But I can say I am not the same person at all... I sin alot less and I feel real guilty when I do it...
I just want to be saved I want to obey the commandments but there's always doubt in my mind saying forget it. It's too late, you sin, you're doomed... It's unbearable.
Therefore there is NO condemnation. Listen again. Don't let the devil steal your joy. God knows your heart. We all struggle with sin. BUT the more you read the Bible the more you can grow. You won't be perfect until we go to Heaven. Ephesians 2;8,9 Keep listening to Pastor Arnold. He has made so many things clear to me. Read the Bible for yourself. The more you read the better you can understand it. Pastor Arnold is the Best preacher I have ever heard. Grow in Grace.

That doesn’t change just because we’ve been “born again.” We are born again spiritually and in that we are sinless because of what Jesus Christ did. But we don’t get a new sinless body until the rapture.

Yes! If we didn’t have all of these knock-off Bible interpretations, half of these false doctrines would probably go away. It’s difficult to try to have a conversation and be productive when people are using itchy-ear books that even completely omit verses. Others change verbiage to works-based vocabulary from faith-based.

Romans 11:21-24 'For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off." This sure sounds like you can lose your salvation. Can someone please help me to understand this? I do not believe you can lose your salvation once you have trusted Christ, but there are verses like this that really challenge my understanding of once saved always saved. Mathew 7:16-20 "16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Is He saying fruit is doctrine or sinful deeds?

We as Christians have the Holy Spirit within us, but we also have what remains of the evil that's within us that can cause us to sin.
This was very helpful for me thank you. I do not understand one thing though; what does "received christ mean"? I ask this because I have rejected Yeshua many times and this makes me worried about this statement. Am I still born again even though I have rejected him many times? Thank you.
If you believe the gospel, you believe He was the atonement for your sins, was buried and resurrected, and is seated at the right hand of the Father - you have eternal life. You can confess it to Him, pray it, all He ask is to believe it.
You may feel a world of wonders different or you may wonder if anything is different at all. As you read of Jesus, and Paul's Epistles - you will sow the seed into your new heart and bear fruit.

We as humans should love our enemies because we are no better than they are. To hate them would be hypocrisy. God who is perfect has the righteous standing to judge his creation with justice, which a human cannot do. See Matthew 18:21-35 for the illustration of this point. It is only by God's kindness that anyone is saved when all we humans deserve punishment. The question should not be, "why will God punish his enemies" but, "why will God not punish all of us for being his enemies". Everyone was once an enemy of God (Romans 5:8), and only by his grace is anyone rescued.

Can anyone help me understand Galatians 5:24 “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” It sounds like if you are in Christ or saved then you have overcome lusts and affections otherwise you are not saved?
Your understanding is correct. What do you think The Master meant when He told us to take up our cross and follow Him? Where was He going? To be crucified. If we are His followers, we must crucify our fleshly nature daily and die to ourselves in surrender to Him as Lord. Jesus said to count the cost before you come to Him, He also said anyone who puts the hand to the plow and looks back is unfit to be one of His. Meaning if you decide to follow Him, but look back on your old ways in longing, you cannot be a follower of His because your heart is not with Him.

Independent fundimental bible beleiving BAPTIST churches. So far that's all I've found there could be other churches though , I just haven't found any others

This is what I've learned...All of the four Gospels are NOT written TO, or FOR, neither do they PERTAIN to, the body of Christ which is His church in the Heavenlies.
The same is true from Hebrews through Revelation. These books pertain to the Kingdom of God on the Earth to which they (the "little flock", the small remnant of Jewish believers) will inherit; and the Holy One of Israel will make Isreal a Governing Nation over the whole Earth and make them "kings and priests to reign on the earth." Revelation 5:9-10.
Once again, the books from Hebrews thru Revelation are NOT written TO, and are NOT FOR, nor do they PERTAIN to "the members of the body of Christ, His Church of which He is the Head and we are His body.
We, His Believeing Church are removed before this time, when the Lord God Almighty will completely focus His attention BACK to the Nation (Jewish people) of Israel.
Romans 11:25-27, the Apostle Paul tells us,
25. "For I would not have you brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, UNTIL THE FULLNESS OF THE GENTILES BE COME IN ("rapture" of His Church, all who are members of the body of Christ).

Our Apostle is Paul and he NEVER taught the Born Again Gospel message. Paul taught the mystery Gospel of Grace by which we are SAVED; and given was to Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, by revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ after He was crucified died and gone to heaven 1 year later, after the stoning of Stephen.

I have a weird question after watching this. Let me say this though I do believe everything pastor Arnold said here, I still have one question. Ok here goes. Satan was in Heaven along with many other fallen angels. They were in Heaven? How did Satan and the fallen angels get kicked out of Heaven if you can’t sin in Heaven? Like you literally cannot sin. How did Satan and the fallen angels sin? Just a weird thought I had. If nothing can take away your salvation how did that happen to Satan and all of the fallen angels?
One must have faith that Your old man has died with Christ. Get rid of Your old wine skin. How can anyone who has died to the flesh, sin any longer...unless of course, You still walking by sight and defending that which is dead...ouch.
So if the Flesh triumphs in a Christian's life does this mean loss of Salvation or still Saved but loss of Rewards...
Salvation can never be lost, but yes it will cost him rewards that he could have earned. Read Heb 12 for a message on God chastening his children. Yankee
No you are safe completely unsealed until the day of redemption when you're born again.. even the Corinthian Church lived in carnality and In the flesh and Paul still called them Brothers and sisters in Christ!

It is no longer I who do it but sin that lives in me Rom 7:17,20. The old man is crucified with Christ. He condemned sin in the flesh. Rom 8:3. Sin is the problem not sin nature.

I dont believe we need to study greek to know what the scriptures say.
The concordances come from the corrupt greek manuscripts.
I used to be all for studying the greek until I found out the history behind how we got these so-called greek concordances. When you use those concordances, you're taking a gamble on what may or may not be accurate. If you look up "repent" in strongs concordance, not only does it say the word is metanoia, which is a change of mind, but it adds a definition to it, saying that repentance means to view with abhorrence one's sins.
But we know that repent has nothing to do with turning from sins to be saved or that feeling sorry for sinning saves.
The truth is, whatever the TRUE greek text was, it will convey in the KJV, which is God's word in the English language.
The corrupt versions which use corrupt manuscripts will convey the corruption in English.
For example,
(KJV) 1 John 3:9 9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
(Niv) 1 John 3:9 9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.
The KJV makes it abundantly clear in english that it means the man born of God cannot commit ONE SINGLE SIN.
The niv says the man born of God cant continue to sin and go on sinning. Therefore, this corrupt version teaches the new birth sins. That is false.
We dont learn anything new by going to the greek because the
_true_ greek reveals itself in the English language in the KJV. We dont have the original manuscripts but we believe that God preserved His word and always will.
