Pastor Arnold....You are a great preacher and I love to listen to you and your messages.This was the clearest message I have ever heard on how to get saved. It is so simple and some pastors and layman make it hard and tell people it has to do with how you live or your works after getting saved. It is so sad. People are misled and don't know if they are saved or not. Thank you very much for this teaching. It was also a great blessing for me and cleared up a couple of things for me too.. God Bless You

I was listening to the part where you said it's appointed unto man once to die then the judgment. Hebrews 9:27. Well this flesh is considered dead once we trust Christ. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. We are already judged bc we have already died our lives are hidden in Christ. Godbless

True repentance cannot come without godly sorrow ,godly sorrow cannot come ,with out hearing the word,and hearing the word cannot come until we hear the word, from one that is sent by God !

I also am learning to let go of the works aspect that many associate with salvation, and ever keep in mind that ALL MY SINS past, present, and future were already paid for at the cross!! The simple message of eternal security by believing in Christ is reassuring and comforting, free from continuous doubt of works-righteousness.😊

I have a problem, I can't find any churches that is not clear on the gospel. I have a conviction not to go to a church that isn't clear on the gospel, but I need the fellowship, I need to be around like minded people, people who are at least clear on God's way of salvation and clear on the gospel.
I just left my church for this reason... They are Lordship salvationists... and they are also hypicritical about it, trying to speak from both sides of the mouth...

I had the idea that repentance meant to turn. I had a license plate frame that said, God allows U turns. I think that is the same as a change of mind it is a turning in the mind.
It can mean to Turn, according to context. You may see the definition of repent in the context, in the KJB.
Modern versions changes the word repent to “relent” and repent and relent does NOT mean the same thing! Especially in all these contexts Bro.Ralph has used here.

rev 2 Jesus tells them to repent. peter tells then to repent.
Salvation is free. Good works are AFTER Salvation for rewards or loss of rewards---listen again and correctly use the word correctly- not for salvation. Change of mind.

good luck with that, we all live in sin every day, that includes you. did you know a foolish thought is sin? says so in Proverbs. Did you ever have a stupid or silly thought?

Godly sorrow produces repentance when we acknowledge we are sinners and that we are guilty before God for sinning against him and that our sin is an offense to our God and creator and we are sorrowful for what we have done and we call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness and we believe the gospel according to the scriptures we are redeemed. God Love's us so much that he sent his son Jesus who bore our sins in his body and took our punishment and when we believe on Jesus alone to save us he delivers us from eternal death and gives us his eternal life and all the glory goes to God.
How can I know I have GODLY sorrow but I know I am sinner but I don't have GODLY sorrow

The word Repent also means(according to context), “to stay” God’s judgement, to stay His hand, in other words, it seems that He changed His mind, but He stayed His hand of judgement, at that time, considering the context and Israel’s repentance of sin..as God has repented, but yet later on, did commit the judgement He said He would do.
In other words in some context, it means God pitied or had compassion, and chose to stay His hand, ect..
Anyone happen to have a list of the scripture references from this sermon. I was following along, but I think I'd messed up a margin note I made and can't recall which scripture it may have been. try focusing on the subject matter, at hand...
Repent DOES mean turn from your sin, but the word should NEVER be used in the Bible. New testament Metanoia/Metanoeo means 'Change your mind' and old testament Nacham/Shuv mean to turn.
The word repent should simply not be used as the translation because the actual word 'Repent' itself does mean to turn or feel sorrow for ones sins.
And it's clear that the original languages did NOT intend them that way!
Does the bible actually say the words "repent from your sins"?
To anyone still having trouble with the doctrine of biblical repentance for salvation, I encourage you to look at this from a point of reason (Isaiah 1:18):
1. Turning from sin is works
(P1) To turn from sin is to keep the law
• This should be a fairly obvious point but I’ll go ahead and provide scriptural basis:
• (1 John 3:4, 1 John 5:17, James 2:9-11)
(P2) Keeping the law is works
• (Romans 9:32, Galatians 2:16, Galatians 3:2, Galatians 3:5, Galatians 3:10)
(C) Turning from sin is works
2. We are saved by grace, not works
(P1) Salvation is by grace through faith
• Throughout the Bible we find examples of this but here’s a short list:
• (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, John 6:47, Philippians 3:9, Acts 16:31, Romans 3:24, Acts 10:43)
(P2) Faith does not include the works of the law, they are not attached
• This should also be obvious but we also need to provide scriptural basis for this:
• (Romans 4:5, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 11:6, Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16)
(C) Salvation is by faith through grace and excludes works
3. Salvation does not involve a turning from sin
(P1) Turning from sin is works
(P2) Salvation excludes works
(C) Turning from sin is not a requirement for salvation
4. Evidence is not required for salvation
(P1) If “true” salvation will always result in good works, then those who do not produce works after salvation were not really saved
• This premise must be true in and of itself. If salvation always produces works afterward then if works are not produced after salvation, the person was never really saved. The law of non-contradiction (a cannot be equal to not-a) proves this premise.
(P2) If the ones who were “truly saved” were the ones that produced works, then salvation depends ultimately on works
• This follows clearly from the first premise. If only the people producing works after salvation are saved, then the ones who do not produce works are not saved even though they both believed the same thing.
• Therefore both believe the same thing and works produced are the only differentiating quality between the saved and unsaved, salvation ultimately would depend on works.
(P3) Salvation does not depend on works
• This premise is proved thoroughly by arguments 1-3
(C) Saving faith does not always produce good works after salvation
5. The law of non-contradiction
• The law of non-contradiction states that “a cannot be equal to not-a” (this is not an argument this is simply a philosophical rule)
• From here there are two options:
a. The Bible can contradict itself
b. The Bible cannot contradict itself
a. If the Bible can contradict itself, then ultimately we are each left to our own individual interpretation and ultimately there is really no way of being certain what the message of salvation truly is.
b. If the Bible cannot contradict itself then we have to interpret verses seeming to require works for salvation in light of what we’ve established above from clear verses saying salvation does not involve works.
The arguments above are sound so long as:
1. The premises are true
2. The conclusion follows the premises
1. I proved the premises mostly scripturally (since we are talking about theological ideas which we’re getting from the same book which we consider to be the word of God). Now, though various scriptures are interpreted in many ways by many people It’s important to remember from the law non contradiction that any interpretation of verses which seem to contradict the verses above and the sound arguments made by them cannot be true.
2. I also made the arguments pretty straightforward and short so that it’s easy to see the conclusions do in fact follow the premises
YOU ARE FALSE IN EVERY ASPECT!!!!!!!!!
Luke 3:1 (John the Bapist's words by the Holy Spirit given)
1 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar [...] 2 during the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of GOD came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness. 3 He went into all the region around the Jordan, PREACHING A BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, 7 Then John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 PRODUCE FRUIT, then, IN KEEPING OF REPENTANCE. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones GOD can raise up children for Abraham. 9 THE AXE LIES READY AT THE ROOT OF THE TREES, AND EVERY TREE THAT DOES NOT PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT WILL BE CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE.”
Matthew 7:17-20 (Jesus' words by the Holy Spirit given, cf. John 7:16)
17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A GOOD TREE CANNOT BEAR BAD FRUIT, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 EVERY TREE THAT DOES NOT BEAR GOOD FRUIT IS CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE. 20 So then, by their fruit you will recognize them.
I only had to give you these two bible segments to crush your whole theology. Your house is built on sand.
The preacher here, Dr. Ralph Yankee Arnold, is nothing more than a wolf in sheep's clothing. Wolves couldn't manipulate the sheeps if they would appear as wolves. So they have to appear as good sheeps to deceive the sheeps. And being deceived means you don't know you are deceived, but you are thinking you are correct in your understanding. That's why all Christians thinking they go to heaven but only a minority will arrive at the Kingdom of Heaven. They don't test the spirits but if it sounds good, it must be good. FALSE. FALSE. FALSE.
There is also a big problem with the English translations in some places, that's why alot of Christians get the wrong turn on the salvation things. For example Romans 10:4. They have written “Christ is the end of the Law” which is false when compared to Romans 3:31 "Do we then make void the law THROUGH FAITH? GOD forbid: yea, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW." The only English bibles which wrote Romans 10:4 the correct way are the ISV (International Standard Version) & NIV (New International Version). ISV “For the Messiah is the culmination of the Law as far as righteousness is concerned for everyone who believes [/obeys].”; NIV “Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes [/obeys].” All other English bibles, I know of, are false in this verse!!!
Repentance means to turn away from a sinful lifestyle and to obey (in spirit and deed) GOD's (and therefore Christ's) commandments.
I wanna show your this truth in some more verses:
In Proverbs 28:13 it is written “He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whosoever confesses and FORSAKES THEM shall have mercy.” IF YOU ARE REALLY BELIEVING YOU ONLY HAVE TO MAKE A PRAYER TO GET SAVED THEN I GUARANTEE YOU: YOU ARE LOST! If you only use the NT to promote your theology then you get beaten by James, the brother of Yeshua and by Yohanan (John) in his epistles; also by Paul in Romans 2:29 & Galatians 5:9 “A little leaven leavens the whole lump“. You must be morally perfect, not knowingly! No willful & thoughtless sin should rule over you - you should rule over sin (Genesis 4:7). Do you really believe the way you propose is the small way Yeshua had proposed? It is written in Luke 13:23-25.27 “23 ’Lord,’ someone asked Him, ‘will only a few people be saved?’ Jesus answered, 24 ‘>>STRIVE

There will be people who reject the free gift of eternal life. They will spend an eternity in Hell, forever separated from God. This channel exists to help bring as many people to the light of the Gospel. We intend to reach the world for Christ but also recognize that there will be people who reject this message. They will have to give an account for their decision.
