I came out of the lordship salvation heresy in 2015. I had four months of peace and joy, knowing that I belonged to God. But the lordship heresy still chased me and is to this day and I've lost joy, peace, and hope. Now I'm having trouble understanding passages that seem to say we must keep believing to be saved. Since I have a preconceived idea about these passages and because no one has addressed these difficult passages, I'm in distress. I'm sorry you are struggling. Just know you're not alone.

ralph is so spot on with the true gospel, so glad i came across this channel, no church near me teaches from the king james bible so i'm glad to be watching video's from this channel.
Went to a church that for years basically preached “you’re saved by grace through faith and that not of yourselves it’s a gift of God and as long as you live godly enough you’ll go to heaven”. Lived too long in spiritual misery and insecurity and for no good reason. Thanks, Pastor Arnold for the clarity of the Gospel that you preach! Keep it up no matter what the ‘Lordship Salvation Mafia’ says! I’m also considering the ministry now!

Lordship salvation sure does make life a misery. I dated a guy who I thought believed what I believed, but something seemed off. He lacked joy. Turned out he thought that he had to “keep up his end of the bargain” or he would loose his salvation.
The relationship ended with him saying I wasn’t even saved because I didn’t live “Godly enough” and he could not date a non-christian. What a sad little man.
Glad I found Pastor Arnold though because of that situation. Salvation is by grace!!!! Hallelujah!
So many of us were trapped on the hamster wheel of Lordship Salvation but have now been set free.

*Pastor Arnold* --- I just love you in Christ, Pastor "Yankee"! You have in two days helped me through the Scriptures to see how I was "fibbed" to sort of last week. I've been struggling with laying down cigarettes and a teacher who is dear to me (though teaches truth) said that if you smoke or anything and cannot stop, then "you are not fully walking with the Lord". Well, I was doubting my salvation (of 36 years), I was a mess for days. I listened again to a few of your sermons last night and today as well as my daily Bible studies and you helped me greatly to get my security back in my Savior..I had it, but I didn't *have* it, if you know what I mean..so thank you. Reading and studying my Bible today was much more of a joy, as is hearing this sermon again. God bless and keep you. You're one of a kind, and the Christian world needs WAY more "Yankees" in these last days. Maranatha!

Praying here, too, for you. I have been in the same place as you due to false Calvinist teachings for 'way too long. Thank God I'm free from all of that now. Grateful for this dear pastor who preaches the truth. It refreshes my soul.
If only I was living over there, I'd be going to his church and listening to his teachings and sermons. Can't find any clear grace pastors here in Dublin Ireland or maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
As well as listening to Ralph Yankee Arnold, I also listen to Thomas Cucuzza, Gregg Jackson, a few other pure grace teachers that I recently subscribed to, and a few others on my Facebook who are constantly posting clear pure grace faith alone in Jesus alone scriptures to be saved, and I try fellowship online. They all have the same mind in Christ, very patient, kind loving empathetic family in Christ and I absolutely love hearing them preach teach the gospel and reminding us who we are in Christ and how that nothing and no one can pluck us from the Father God and Lord Jesus Christ and that all we have to do is BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ and we are sealed and saved eternally!

I went through a hard refining process over a couple of years . At the start I got told . Hold tight for what’s coming . Also told . You must be at one with Jesus or your die . To cut a long story short. I went through a lot of unbelievable stuff that I had never experienced before . As a lot of time has passed things have calmed down , and I didn’t die .I got told . You have a gift . . Jesus the Christ is the gift that gives us eternal life here and now and forever . Satan can not touch you .

So Right. Great Sermon!! For we are in the age of Grace Through Faith!! And yes, we are to rightly divide God’s Word(2 Timothy 2:15). For if you believe the Bible, you can’t approach it your way, but God’s Way !! God tells us how to study His Word - rightly divided = it’s all for us. but not all of us.... The Word of Truth = Genesis Through Revelation is All Truth. It’s just not all your truth. some belong to those under the law. some to those under grace !!! We in Christ Jesus are ambassadors for Him, as God appeals to the lost through us believers (2 Corinthians 5:18-20) in Grace we can eat whatever, asking no questions, but we don’t cause others to stumble for conscience sake. We who are strong should bear the shortcomings of the weak... knowing we are saved forever and can never lose that salvation !!! Thank You Brother Yankee for You have never wavered from the Truth Of Almighty God💗💞💗💕

Yes. Doctrine must be interpreted with the Gospel as the foundation. So many people lay doctrine as the foundation and create a false gospel. It's like building your house before laying the proper foundation. It will not stand. The foolish man built his house upon the sand instead of the Rock. The Rock, Jesus, is "our SURE foundation." He is the only security we have to build on. "No other foundation can any man lay..."

Dear Pastor Ralph. I still believe that the last part of Hebrews 6:4-6 also teaches about the unforgivable sin. Those that have rejected Christ all together and put their fist against God that there is no more remission of sin. But I might not be right - you've studied way more than I have. I was just thinking many think they are saved in churches around the world, see the Holy Ghost working in their life, proclaim they believe (not in Jesus though but a santa kind of savior) - then turn around and spit at God when life gets tough and they were never saved and blaspheme the Holy Ghost when He convicts them. Sorry, I don't want to cause confusion or division, but I've believed that for a long time - I just want the truth as I've earlier been lead astray.
Hebrews chapter 6 verses four through six are not connected with the unforgivable sin found in Mark 3:28. They are totally different contacts, and they are totally different timelines. The unforgivable sin was only committed when the Pharisees saw all the irrefutable evidence of God, working through Jesus Christ in the attributed to an unholy source. Hebrews chapter 6 is discussing the idea of people understanding what grace is and salvation in Christ, but their idea of falling back into a legalistic non-Christian faith. They are not connected. They are not the same thing the same goes for the concept of the sin that leads to death, I answered this because I’ve researched it in depth and I hope I can be of help to you

Dispensation is good way to understand the bible but a better way is the cultural background. Dispensation help only in understanding the difference from scripture but cultural background primary focus in understanding the details in the scripture.

I’d like to add that there is a difference between “inheriting the kingdom” and “entering the kingdom”. Chuck Missler does a really good job delving into this. However, there is also a difference between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. Interesting distinctions 😊

Right Doctrine Jesus meant that the rich young ruler would have to be perfect since he wanted eternal life while everyone in that dispensation only had to keep the Law which was possible while being perfect was not.
Jesus did not tell him he is saved by grace through faith as the video speaker is teaching.
In truth Biblically there is a different method of salvation in each dispensation, a truth it does not seem this fundamental speaker is aware of.
If you doubt this then you must explain why even father Abraham did not go to Heaven upon his physical death and please explain what would have happened to an OT saint under the Law had he chose not to do the Temple sacrifices.

I would like to make a million DVD copies of this video and hand them out at the entrance to every church that teaches calvinist Doctrine!!! I'm not even kidding I seriously feel like they don't know and they won't know because they have nothing to compare it to and the people that believe falsely about salvation are actually telling other people the same lie! I find it quite interesting that John MacArthur happens to be the biggest mouth against the charismatic church he even did a series called Strange Fire and he got a bit of backlash but many of the people who spoke out against it are actually known for being a little too loosey goosey charismatic so it almost didn't matter that they said anything and it only seemed to encourage those who thought MacArthur's Strange Fire sermon was good teaching! I find it quite interesting that he insisted that he was calling out false teachers and defining the body of Christ but actually he is the false teacher and he is not part of the body because of his false gospel. I WOULD LOVE TO ATTEND YOUR SCHOOL JUST FOR LEARNING PROPER EVANGELISM. I got a scholarship from Rodney Howard Brown the river back in 2011 and I never did feel peace from God about taking them up on it because after attending services there off and on for a couple of months I just didn't feel like they were really appreciate the truth when it came to True evangelism. They have a soul-winning script I think I still have a copy of one in my Bible but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get one it's probably on their website, the script starts out by saying how much God loves the person and how he has a good plan for their life but that doesn't necessarily get to the problem which is sin! Also, and their services they seem to exaggerate quite a bit and I won't bother everyone with my personal testimony about what I witnessed but suffice it to say it was enough for me to turn down a full scholarship to their Bible school and worship School. I don't necessarily want a seminary degree I just want to learn how to properly evangelize and I also have a strong desire to write worship songs but I don't need a Bible degree for that because that just comes from my heart out of gratitude for my salvation. I wish I lived closer to the airport area but I'm all the way at the opposite end of the county almost in Plant City. I really appreciate the clarity of RALPH YANKEE ARNOLD S SERMONS! There are so many people out there desperately confused either by teaching like John MacArthur's and Calvinism or there are people desperately confused by the chaotic cultural charismatics.
Clear passages always overule vague ones. Why is this so misunderstood by the body of Christ.
Dear brother Arnold, Even I believe in eternal security and therefor I rejoice in the Lord , one question still bothers me: If we live in the church age of Laodicea, who are the ones the Lord will spit out of His mouth, if faith in Christ is enough and saves us? I know from lots of lukewarm Christians who truly believe in Jesus as their saviour. What do I get wrong?
I think the lukewarm church is not those who trust Christ and still sin (that is everyone). Instead its those who mix grace and good works as necessary for salvation. That would be the wide path whereas grace alone is the narrow and true way.

You seem to be in confusion. .those are merely disciplines and extraction from vices. It's why you can be conned by pastors like this telling you what "works" is. He conveniently leaves out that you can fall away and lose what you have. Scripture even tells you that even what some THINK they have will be taken away.

That's the very next verse following " not of works, lest anyone should boast."..So do you think someone is LYING regarding their fake interpretation of what "works" really is when you're sold the "false grace doctrine"?
The same people will say " No do! do! do!, yet you're created to DO good works.
You can choose what men may make "seem" to be true..or read for yourself and find that one can fall away to damnation too.
There is a way that SEEMS right to a man..but leads to damnation. There is a separation of the 'sheep' and 'goats' at one judgement.
Separate judgements..different comings of Jesus etc. .are all inferences from primarily not what scripture says . We are not told EXACTLY but are given a basic idea of that time.
New Jerusalem comes down to earth with the Throne of God....at the end all are judged. Scripture tells you the dead rise...those in Christ and outside Christ are 'resurrected'..Those "in Christ" to everlasting life, and others, to everlasting contempt and shame scripture says.
There are obviously different levels of things weighed by the Righteous Judge..in essence scripture only gives you a vague idea. Obviously it's not just as simple as 'we' see it...but a Righteous Judge will surely preside.
For instance. .I have friends that are not Christians, and I pray for these..because not everyone will just change. So..God has every aspect covered...and all are treated "justly".

You're caught up in doctrines made from people reading Revelation and making up "White Throne Judgement" as if it's something separate.

The dead ALL rise..to be judged. They all have a 'resurrection body'..the difference is some rise to eternal life, and others to condemnation.

Of course you may believe that you ascend into heaven to receive rewards etc..but perhaps you forget that earth is the inheritance of the meek and part of the "reward" itself..A renewed earth..new heaven. ., and scripture plainly tells you God is going to be dwelling "Among the people"...nations..even vanquished ones will be going to worship. Everyone is not just 'annihilated' because they were against Jesus , because scripture tells you plainly those left of the nations that were AGAINST JESUS all bow..and all are coming to worship. So..we have a very JUST JUDGE...or is it your contention that everyone 'non Christian' is just wiped out when Jesus comes?
So..perhaps read the scriptures carefully for yourself instead of merely repeating just doctrines created by men, that actually do NOT accord with the Word really..but most just swallow it. It's why you get many claiming souls are simply annihilated to nothingness, when scripture unambiguously tells you the condemned will be tormented in the presence of the Lamb and the Holy Angels.

The New Jerusalem comes down with the names of the 12 apostles. .because the gospel is of ONE ACCORD. All preached the ONE GOSPEL.
None had any special secret mysteries etc..but the same 'sources' you'll mention, tell you such things. "Behold I tell you a mystery" is simply Paul mentioning a 'part' of Revelation. Revelation is really a cryptic synopsis of the ONE GOSPEL...telling you the entire "Mystery of God is accomplished in the DAYS OF the 7th Trumpet. So that is a "period of time"...
As I said. .you are only given a little concept of the " The Judgement" but it entails multiple layers of things no human can conceive. It's beyond your mental grasp how countless bodies from the beginning will all stand before Jesus ...yet they shall.
It seems everyone is overlooking what these verses are saying: Stay in FAITH to stay in CHRIST to STAY saved. PLEASE read Romans 11: 17-22. This is NOT just to the Jews or to Israel. These passages, especially v22 speaks to EVERY Christian. You can't sin your way out of SALVATION. Believing is not a work. It's the ONLY way in: and turning to not BELIEVING is the ONLY way out. It's not about performance. It's not about rewards. It's about BELIEVING in what Christ has done unto the END: which the scripture constantly exhorts us to do. (i.e, 1 John 2: 22-24, Colossians 1: 22-23, Heb 6, Heb 10, Romans 11: 17-22) Pastor is CORRECT: you can't sin your way out. You can't perform your way in. You can't perform your way to stay, ya just gotta' keep BELIEVING. There can't be a drip of works, the offer of salvation is come as you are, let Christ do the circumcision; He's the ONLY One Who can! Just from what you said the Holy Spirit has already been speaking to you and guiding you to the answer. Are you listening though? Romans chapters 6 to 8, Galatians 5 on walking in the Spirit, and a number of other passages give the answer. "Sin shall not have dominion ( literally to rule or exercise lordship) over you" Romans 6:14. That simply means sin does not have the authority to rule your life. The old flesh nature does not have the legal right to control your life and tell you what to do. If sin is ruling your life it is because you are yielding to the influence of the flesh and not walking in dependence on the Spirit for victory. God wants to bring you to a place of total dependence on Him for victory!!! If the flesh has power over you it is because you've gotten into a habit of yielding to it since you were saved. This happens to MANY believers. Known sins must be confessed and cleansed when you fail and resubmit to the Holy Spirit. ( First John 1:7 to chapter 2:2 and Proverbs 28:13) God promises that once sins are confessed and forsaken that He will forgive and cleanse them. We are told to self examine ourselves and "cleanse your hands you sinners and purify your hearts you double mined". ( James 4:8) This is examining things in your life you know are against the will of God. Confess them and forsake them. Yield in obedience to the Holy Spirit and walk with dependence upon Him for victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. You WILL NEVER get the victory w/o dependence on Him. You will continue to fail until you die. Trust me, I know VERY, VERY well what I'm talking about.
@@randyd9805 Well I think you said it because I am deeply rooted in self reliance and it is deceptive. I have had few victories through humility and dependence but I also fight against the pride of self reliance and it is a survival instinct born out of a violent childhood where both parents could not be trusted. Words like love, trust, faith, feelings, heart etc were not understood.

Matthew 7:23 is one of the most misquoted scriptures. This verse talks about self professed Christians who trusted in their works instead of the finished atonement of Jesus on the cross.

Notice how not ONE single person in Matthew 23 tells God that they believed in the finished work of cross, instead; they all boasted about their works to get into heaven.

If a person professed to be a believer but believes that he/she can keep on sinning and think that it's okay in the sight of God. I would question their salvation because their heart is not in the right place. I have never met a grave believer ever telling me it's okay to sin and God would be okay with it. If a person doesn't have conviction of sin, how would that person know what they are being saved from?
Any disobedient believer will be severely punished by God in this world, even to the destruction of his flesh, resulting in death.
Let me ask you this, God says that Eternal Life is a gift. Have you ever met someone that gave you a gift, and then 20 years down the line, they told you, "Hey, do you remember that gift I gave you 20 years ago? I want it back." When someone give you a birthday gift, do they ever ask for it back?

He was thrown out of the church for two reasons: 1) so that other church members will not also stumble in sin because of that one person - basically to save the purity of the church; and 2) if he was to continue to sin, he will be disciplined by the Holy Spirit even if he was "given to Satan" - he will have a really bad life just like the prodigal son. It turned out he came back in 2 Corintians. He definitely could not take a life with Satan. 🤪😉 if he continued sinning, he will still be saved by Jesus as indicated in 1 Corinthians 5:5.

Correction: Some new testament books were written to Jews and some books were written to Gentiles. The church is composed of both. James, Hebrews, I, and II Peter was no doubt written to believing Jews (who are part of the church) but also for the whole church. Most of Paul's writings were to the Gentiles who are in the church but also for all the church. It is simple when you realize that their were about 14 books written to the church while some focused on believing Jews in the church and some on Believing Gentiles in the church. Friends, a bare assertion of belief is not saving faith. This is why Jesus explains to Nicodemus that a man must be born again. Nicodemus is the example of the casual believer who has not been born of the Spirit.
It is wrong to believe that the new birth is Spirit only, and wholly separate from the flesh. This is because it is the man that is born again, not just the spirit of man. Genuine faith will always bring genuine repentance. As Hebrews 12:2 says, Christ is both the author and PERFECTER of our faith.
Don't be fooled into thinking you are converted simply because you've stated that you believe. If you truly believe the Holy Spirit will cause you to become more sanctified.
