    In todays age, guys like Pastor Mike Maki and Ralph Arnold are a needle in a haystack. The majority wants to hear the things that tickle their ears, rather than sound doctrine. God bless and keep up the great work!

      In Today's times, people like John Macarthur and John Piper give 'uncertainty' and adds too much to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is the Truth. the devil is the liar and will add so much confusion.

      @@barakoniner1644 Calvinism is a doctrine or more accurately a cohort of doctrines. Think of it as like Dispensationalism or Cessationism. Most Calvinists are Baptists, and Baptists usually split between Once Saved Always Saved (Provisionism) and Calvinism. Rarely seen an Arminiast Baptist. Its crazy to think the divisions have grown so elaborate that we have entire terminologies for it. Yet here we are.

    Dr. Ralph you are blessing to those who seek the truth. Jesus saves us and keeps us saved.
    If I had anything to do with me keeping myself saved I would have lost salvation few seconds after I was saved :-). Thank God He told us nothing will snatch us from His hand. Here is my take on preaches who preach false doctrine. They are not saved that is why they preach false gospel. Unfortunately there is only a handful of preaches who preach GOSPEL like Ralph.

    Jesus Christ made the promise in John 6:37 that He would never cast out anyone who had trusted Him as Savior for any reason. "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out." He meant exactly that. There is no circumstance or instance that would cause Christ to cast a saved person aside.

      YEP! It's an elitist doctrine. I've never met a Calvinist who also wasn't arrogant and elitist. THEY know more than you. YOU don't understand, THEY do. THEY study more. THEY are more holy. THEY are chosen, not you. They end up worshiping their own intellect and the church fathers. It's VERY Catholic in vibe. I've never once read the Bible and saw the words "Calvin" or "TULIP." NOT ONCE. You have to confound the Bible and pick scriptures here and there to build a MAN MADE narrative. They literally replace entire words, like "ALL," with "elect." It's evil and I don't know how some Christians are ok with it. Notice how they always use Latin too, like it's some holy form of language. CATHOLICISM.

    My dad suffered from sleep apnea for years but would not use his bi-pap to sleep. It caused irreversible damage to his lungs. He collapsed in a restaurant and slipped into a coma. He was a Believer and was never without his bible. After two weeks he came out of the coma. His personality had changed and he would say things that were out of character that were racist and vulgar. He was a different man than he was before the coma. A few days later his lungs filled with fluid and he passed away. I KNOW he is with The Lord not because he was a good man right to the end, but because He received Christ as his Savior and was Saved in that moment. I am a Believer as well. In 2006 I was a Trucker and had an accident that left me with a very bad Traumatic Brain Injury. Since the injury I have had issues with PBA, BiPolar disorder and impulse control. For the longest time I blamed myself and feared I was no longer saved because of how I would behave sometimes. I now know better, but with a brain injury I know that tomorrow I may forget. But GOD wont forget me.

You want to say to them, "Jesus, is that you???" I've started singing to them, "holy, holy, holy..... YOU are almighty!" lol! They get so mad, but it's needed to humble them. I want to live as holy as I can.... not to enter heaven, but because I love my Lord and I appreciate so much what He did for me. I've listened to this sermon at least 3 times to help me. Over the past week or so, I've come across passages that have frightened me. Can anyone explain what these mean, if it doesn't mean we must keep believing?
    Colossians 1:21-23 21And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
    When we believe, I thought we were seen as unblameable? What does this passage mean?
    2 Timothy 2:10 10Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
    If they are elect, does that not mean they are believers? This verse sounds like salvation is a process.
    This next one, I know he touched on briefly in the sermon but I saw someone comment on another video I watched with two passages they say parallel this one. I'll list them, too.
    2 Timothy 2:11-14 11It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 14Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the LORD that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
    People are saying the passage in 2 Timothy a.) means we will be denied reigning with Christ. But I know that isnt what it's saying because all believers will be with Christ forever and those believers who are raptured will return with Him when He comes back to earth.
    b.) They said it parallels:
    Matthew 10:32-33 32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
    Revelation 3:5 5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
    We know that those who overcome are those who believe because:
    1 John 5:4-5 4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
    So, it sounds like if we ever get to a time in our lives where we deny Christ and walk away from the faith, that He will deny knowing us and that He wont confess our names before His Father and His angels. I'm having a difficult time understanding how these arent related to one another. If Jesus hadnt prayed for Peter's faith not to fail, would Peter's denying of Christ before men resulted in Jesus denying Peter or not confessing his name before His Father and His angels?
    Hebrews 3:6 6But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
    Hebrews 3:14 14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
    I thought the moment we believe, we were made partakers? This sounds like we arent made partakers or part of Christ's house unless we keep believing.
    2 Timothy 2:17-19 17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The LORD knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
    Is this saying that Hymenaeus and Philetus, and those they overthrew their faith were not the Lord's? Because they didnt continue believing?
    1 John 2:18-19 18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
    Is this saying if they truly believed they would have continued with them?
    My last one is about the parable of the soils. I've seen where people say the only saved one was the 4th one. That the stony one was already hard and it took no root, which meant they didnt have saving faith. And that the third soil didnt take root and was choked out so they didnt have saving faith.
    I know this is a lot. I'm just a bit concerned and cant understand these passages.
    If faith is the vehicle which Christ gives eternal life and it is not a work, if we cut off faith, how does He give us eternal life?

    A Bridge Too Far... I LOVE your faithful teaching on the simplicity saving faith. Clearly communicating the simplicity of the gospel is highest calling. You serve it (Him) well! Lordship salvation as taught by men like John MacArthur is a wrecking ball to assurance. Years ago I read "The Gospel According to Jesus" and had to throw it away half way through because of the spiritual oppression and doubt it created. Fortunately it caused me to search the scriptures to determine the truth. My salvation depended upon knowing the truth. Did I merely have a "head faith" and was a counterfeit or was I really saved by faith alone regardless my behavior. Your teaching on the subject echoes my conclusion. God bless you brother! But...are you saying that a person can actually die in a state of UNBELIEF and still be saved? I view saving faith as the byproduct of revelation and something that cannot become "unseen" once it has been revealed. Is there an example of someone in scripture who believed and then rejected the gospel message and was still saved? Since faith is not a work, to say one must believe continually is not on par with saying one must behave continually to be saved. I liken it to knowing my name. There will never be a time when I dont know my name. You gave the example of sleeping and disease whereby one may stop believing. I'm not satisfied with the analogy. Unconsciousness/incapacitation is not synonymous with conscious rejection of gospel truth once professed. As a teen, Carl Marx wrote an outstanding essay on Chritianity.

      @@doitlikethebereans1690 Actually that verse is taken out of context. The first half of the verse follows up with “he cannot deny himself”. There is a colon that directly links the “believe not” with Christ not denying himself. What did Peter do three times? He denied Jesus three times, but Christ could not deny himself. Peter was still saved afterwards, he still believed, he couldn’t stop believing because you can’t lose salvation.
      2 Timothy 2:13 is about doubt and denying the Lord. This is a grave sin, but as Paul reminds Timothy, Christ “abideth faithful”. The verse is about being faithful to the Lord. We should exhort one another to always remain faithful to the ministry and serving God. Thomas doubted when Christ resurrected and John the Baptist awfully stated, “should we look for another?” when he doubted Jesus was the Christ. Did John become an unbeliever? No, he was saved and made straightway the path for the Lord’s arrival. He believed on Jesus Christ.
      Matthew 11:2-4 “Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:”

    The bible is clear that if you do not believe then you do not have eternal life. 2 Timothy 2:13 is the only verse that seems to contradict. Anything that is required from you do to be SAVED is works, if you are required to feel uncomfortable when sinning or after sinning as a sign that you are TRULY saved then it is by works buddy!!!.
      So lets say I am eternally saved by grace and today I feel uncomfortable about engaging in X or Y type of sin but tomorrow I engage in it and feel comfortable doing it and without any remorse, WAS I SAVED yesterday but NOT today based on how I feel about that sin based on comfort and complacency?.
