    Thank you Mr. Ralph Arnold for standing boldly for the true Gospel of Grace. I am so thankful that you have not backed down over the years of your ministry. But that you have stood for Faith Alone in Christ Alone (aka "Easy Believism") and are not ashamed. And it also is very encouraging to see you still preaching and contending for the truth even well into your good old age. We appreciate you, Sir. Keep fighting the good fight of Faith! And Godspeed.

      It always seems funny to me that people who disagree with Grace call it "Easy Believism" when it's obviously extremely difficult for them to believe...

      @@jeannine1739 good point, sister! Valid observation for sure. It is very ironic. Mr. Ralph Arnold also has pointed this out in some of his sermons where he states "If easy Believism is so easy, then why don't most people believe and accept it?"

      @@johntrevett2944 Here are some statements that you made that are wrong. They are the results of a Calvinistic belief system that is based on the TULIP. You said……
      John: Christian discipleship as proof of salvation: Yankee: This is not true, there are no guaranteed evidence of salvation
      John: True faith in Christ will always lead to a changed life. Yankee: This is not true, you may get worst.
      John: So, we see that faith, given as a gift by God, is what saves us. Yankee: You know better than that! You know that the Greek will not allow you to put the word it back to faith. You should be ashamed of yourself. Faith is not he gift!! You are in error again.
      John: If there is no evidence of growth and good works, we have reason to doubt that salvation. Yankee: If you were to honestly look at your own life to find those evidence of your salvation, it will prove you are not. A lost man can produce your evidence, but it does not save him.
      John: We embark on a journey of pre-ordained good works that are the evidence of that salvation. Yankee: The word says in verse 10 that we SHOULD walk in good works. It does not say we MUST or that we WILL. You take to much upon yourself to speak about what you think God meant to say, but he didn’t know how to make it clear.
      John: The concept of the “carnal Christian,” is completely unscriptural. Yankee: Really??? Look who Paul is writing to. 1Co 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints. It was the church, they were called sanctified, and saints. 1Co 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 1Co 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: Were not these believers carnally minded? The rest of the verse says they were living like lost men. Go study again.

    Yankee is my favorite preacher. I was struggling with Lordship Salvation/works proving I'm saved after listening to Ray Comfort witness to people, and a bad teaching at my church from Matthew chapter 7. I thought "since I cannot stop sinning, am I really saved". It is stressful trying to be good enough to be accepted by God. I asked God to give me the truth and that night I found Yankee Arnold explaining difficult passages on RUclips. I thank God for directing me to your videos Mr. Arnold. I also like your accent, haha. Lordshippers affirms Faith Alone In Christ Alone and then they add a BUT, with a long list of promises, commitments, willing commitments, stop enough, turn enough, give enough surrender, live Holy enough, produce enough fruit, and 50 other random, immeasurable things that must be fulfilled by the believer in order to "Qualify for saving faith." It's blatantly performance based. "Should" our faith grow in maturity and strive to reach perfection and completion? Of course. Will every one succeed and have an immaculate Christian walk? No. That's why we rely on Christ.

      You are twisting scripture like a typical self-righteous works trusting salvationist who has not trusted in Christ alone 100% for salvation. Here are passages to refute your deception and misunderstanding of the imputed righteousness of Christ when we believe on Him.
      1 Corinthians 3:13-15 KJV
      every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
      Acts 16
      30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
      31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house
      2 Corinthians 11
      3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
      4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
      Romans 1
      17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
      Romans 3
      22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
      23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
      24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
      25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
      26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
      27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
      28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
      Romans 4
      4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
      5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
      Romans 5
      Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
      2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
      Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      Romans 10
      9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
      Romans 11
      6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
      Ephesians 1
      13 When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. 14 He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.
      Ephesians 2
      8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
      9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
      Titus 3
      5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
      6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
      7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
      2 Timothy 1
      8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
      9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
      Galations 2
      16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
      21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
      Philippians 3
      9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
      10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
      1 John 5
      5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
      9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
      10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
      11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
      12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
      13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
      1 Peter 1
      4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
      5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
      2 Peter 3
      18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

    I have a question. Is Colossians 2:11 talking about when we die, our spirit and soul are finally separated from our flesh, that is, we should think of ourselves as dead to sin and circumcised from the flesh through Christ once we believe, but our actual death is when the the circumcision takes place? "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:9)
      True *_believers_* as those who (like Abraham) ACT on their faith and obey God. Otherwise their faith is dead. James used Abraham's example to illustrate this in James 2:20-24.
      Like Ephesians 2:8 says, we come to saving grace *_"through"_* faith . . . not just because we *_have_* faith. Whatever faith we have is DEAD unless we act on it and obey God.
      Who gets saved? Jesus is
      "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:9)'
      ===========================================
      We are commanded to repent. (Acts 17:30)
      Follow directions, confessing and forsaking sin, and we'll receive God's promised mercy (Proverbs 28:13) and
      Our past sins will be "blotted out" (Acts 3:19, Romans 3:25, 2 Peter 1:9) and
      We'll enter "the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19) by receiving the gift of the holy spirit, which God gives "to them that obey Him" (Acts 5:32).
      Through the holy spirit Jesus will guide us, helping us grow up spiritually, leading us out of slavery to sin (Revelation 3:19).
      While we abide in Jesus in repentance, following the holy spirit, we remain in *justification* -not under condemnation. (Romans 8:1)
      While we abide in Jesus in repentance, following the holy spirit, we remain "in His goodness" or grace (Romans 11:22).
      While we abide in Jesus in repentance, following the holy spirit, He advocates for us with the Father (1 John 2:1) and
      Jesus covers - present tense - any new sin by His blood (1 John 1:7).
      While we abide in Jesus in repentance, following the holy spirit, we have "the hope of salvation" (1 Thessalonians 5:8,9);
      While we abide in Jesus in repentance, following the holy spirit, we have the "promise" of the gift of eternal life (1 John 2:25).
      If we "endure to the end" we'll be saved (Matthew 10:22).
      If we endure to the end we'll receive the gift of eternal life at Jesus' "revelation" -His return (1 Peter 1:13, 1 Cor 15:50-54, 1 Thess 4:13-17).
      ==============================================
      Outside of obedience, outside of repentance, we received none of the promised mercy (Prov 28:13) and our sins remain, not blotted out (Acts 3:19). Therefore we will perish, as Jesus and Peter warned:
      "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Jesus, in Luke 13:5)
      "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
      ==============================================
      What did Jesus tell His disciples to preach? "Faith alone"??? "Just trust Jesus"??? No.
      "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
      And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
      And that *repentance and remission of sins* should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:45-47)

      8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
      According to the apostle Peter, it's possible for "genuine" believers to become "barren" or "unfruitful" and could possibly even forget they were "purged" of their sins. Doesn't sound like they would be "crucifying" their flesh to me. Take the focus off of yourself and put it on Christ where it belongs. Then your understanding can be from the Spirit of God rather than man's teaching.

You have to not just think it in your head in a general sense for humanity itself. The question is what is sin? They may be committing sins that we consider *more* sinful, but even if they weren't they still sin and are sinning deeply whether it is unforgiveness, or anger, or doubt, or self-will etc - they still sin and that is what the Lordshipper, "religious" person believes. They are depending and trusting in themselves. They think they can earn their salvation and are good people, believing they are good enough. They do not understand that they are looking at the external and that God says our righteousness is as filthy rags. Or, that they can never be perfect as a holy God demands, which is why Christ came to Earth to die on the cross for us. He only could pay that sinless, perfect, one-time sacrifice for all who would believe in him. They do not understand the gospel of grace that the apostle Paul taught. He wasn't saying be perfect or else - he was saying perfection is in Christ.

    Only Jesus Christ knows if a person is truly saved. When a person hears the gospel and with a repentant heart asks Jesus Christ to save them, Jesus Christ immediately indwels them with the Holy Spirit and they are spiritually born again and they know it because they immediately have joy and peace in their heart. Assurance of salvation is putting your faith in Jesus Christ and his Word. A true Christian now has the freewill to yield to the Holy Spirit and access the fruits of the Spirit and allow Christ to work in and through them thus honoring and glorifying God or they can of a freewill yield to their freshly desires and sin against God and loose their fellowship with Jesus Christ but they can never loose their relationship as sons of God through Jesus Christ their redeemed. When a true Christian sins the Holy Spirit convicts their heart and they don't have joy and peace until they ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness and have their fellowship restored. We should with brotherly love encourage such a person to turn away from that sin and to be restored in Christ.

      Preparing the Way of the Lord,
      You quoted v 9-10 but you NEGLECTED v 11!
      1 Corinthians 6: 11. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
      WE, BELIEVERS are NOT among those in v9-10 which we WERE before we believed. BUT we are now washed, sanctified and justified!
      You also quoted Ephesians 5 v 5-6, AND you also CONVENIENTLY LEFT OUT v 7-8.
      Ephesians 5: 7. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
      Paul told us believers NOT to be partakers BECAUSE we are light in the Lord, so, we should walk in light NOT in darkness which we WERE once upon a time BEFORE we believed!
      We are commanded to tell the WHOLE TRUTH not HALF-TRUTH like what the snake did in the garden of Eden. Use the word of God in totality and in context.
      We as children of light, should of course walk in light BECAUSE we are children of light. Titus 2: 11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
      However, the sad truth is some believers may not walk appropriately.
      An unbeliever can also do good works but he is still an unbeliever. A believer is defined by what he believes NOT what he does.
      A believer who minds the world will definitely follows the course of the world. But he is still a believer.

They still go to heaven but the worker of inequity never took it to heart. That’s chaff the first son the one who never believed and had the seed ripped. Your students seem to have horrible judgement. So let’s hear it you judges of the earth how are you somehow more justified than one who took it to heart and do you really think it is faith to deny His will?
    Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.-Mathew 7:21
    And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.-John 6:35-40

    Now last I checked He is the authority and it seems very clear to me as written in John that all might believe and be saved means ALL. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. The measure you use shall be measured unto you that is also what He said.
    And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.-John 12:23-24
    And there is the measure of a true disciple. How many of you will deny Him right now?
    For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
      3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
      4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
      5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
      6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
      7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
      8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
      9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
      10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
      11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
      12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
      13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
      They deny the power to live holy.
      2 Timothy 3
      This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
      2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
      3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
      4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
      5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

    A believer cannot live like the devil, the devil is actively trying to turn people away from God and blasphemes God. He is in constant rebellion. When you turn to Christ you receive a gift of the Holy Spirit. Read 1 John, it even states someone who is of God cannot practice sin or sin continually. That is backloading the gospel message with works, talking out of both sides of your mouth.
      Yes, in as much as salvation is absolutely free, yes, you could live like the devil and still go to Heaven.
      However, God chastiseth every son He recieveth, avoid chastisement, live Godly.
      Remember Ananais and Sapphira, they went to Heaven earlier than expected.
      A changed life is not automatic, that takes complete cooperation with the Holy Spirit.
      The entire book of Corinthians was written to disobedient, carnal, Christians who had to be told how to live, apparently a changed life is not inevitable.
      A fruit inspecting backloader such as yourself would say that they were not saved.
      Works don't prove your salvation anymore than having red blood cells proves you're human.
      All works can prove in an already saved person is their level of Christian maturity, nothing else!

      Everyone thinks living like the devil is being out there sinning up a storm. But, he's also sitting in a pew in a church.
      The passage is not saying that we do not practice sin or continually sin. The point is that we are sinners who sin, because we have that sin nature, the flesh, that sins whether in thought, word, or deed. We can never be perfect (sinless) until we have been redeemed by Christ and we no longer have a corruptible body, but have an incorruptible body at the resurrection/rapture. We are not denying that we sin, because those that say they don't sin do not know Christ. It is that in this body we will sin, but in our glorified body we will not sin. Positionally, we are in Christ and do not sin (spiritually, the 'new man'). In this sinful flesh we are in we do sin. We all sin to one degree or another and no one can be perfectly not sinning. The point is that we acknowledge that we sin and do not deny that we are a sinner.

      @@jk11222 I agree with you, we are all sinners. I’m not sure you really read what I commented. There is a difference between being a sinner and practicing sin after one is already saved… not before. We are saved by faith through Grace and not of works… but we receive the Holy Spirit after we are saved. We are then declared righteous because of our faith in Jesus, the righteous do not want to sin, so they attempt to live according to God’s will and the Holy Spirit helps out… of course we don’t stop sinning. But the one who practices sin instead of righteousness does not care about his or her sin, and do it continually. The Bible makes it clear that those who practice sin and sin continually aren’t of God.
