Exalts Christ and His Finished Work and perfect righteousness imputed to those who trust Him alone and nothing of themselves. The Gospel of Grace that is good news and brings peace, joy and freedom in Jesus, unlike the many corruptions and works righteousness counterfeits that abound in professing Christendom. Refreshing, pure water of life that truly satisfies the thirsty soul. If you want to be free from conviction, GIVE UP YOUR SINS. STOP CHOOSING TO SIN. You feel guilty because you are guilty. But it is not too late. Repent!! Jesus Christ died and saved you from the power of your sins. So stop choosing to be a slave to them!
Be baptized, and wash away your sins. Be raised as a new creature. And choose not to sin. Give your life to Christ.
"Whoever wishes to keep his life (of sin) will die, but whoever gives up his life (of sin) for my sake, he will have life."
"If we DELIBERATELY go on sinning after we have received the truth, no sacrifice for sins remains - only a fearful expectation of judgment that will consume the enemies of God."
Christianity is not a license to sin. It is freedom from them!!!

The Two Natures Of The Believer
We believe that every saved person possesses two natures, with provision made for victory of the new nature over the old nature through his identification with Christ and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit; and, that all claims to the eradication of the old sin nature in this life are unscriptural (Rom. 6:1-13, 8:12,13; Gal. 5:16-25; Eph. 4:22-24; Col. 3:10; I Pet. 1:14-16:1 John 3:5-9).

    Parallel CommentariesMatthew Henry's Concise Commentary
    24:4-28
The disciples had asked concerning the times, When these things should
be? Christ gave them no answer to that; but they had also asked, What
shall be the sign? This question he answers fully. The prophecy first
respects events near at hand, the destruction of Jerusalem, the end of
the Jewish church and state, the calling of the Gentiles, and the
setting up of Christ's kingdom in the world; but it also looks to the
general judgment; and toward the close, points more particularly to the
latter. What Christ here said to his disciples, tended more to promote
caution than to satisfy their curiosity; more to prepare them for the
events that should happen, than to give a distinct idea of the events.
This is that good understanding of the times which all should covet,
thence to infer what Israel ought to do. Our Saviour cautions his
disciples to stand on their guard against false teachers. And he
foretells wars and great commotions among nations. From the time that
the Jews rejected Christ, and he left their house desolate, the sword
never departed from them. See what comes of refusing the gospel. Those
who will not hear the messengers of peace, shall be made to hear the
messengers of war. But where the heart is fixed, trusting in God, it is
kept in peace, and is not afraid. It is against the mind of Christ, that
his people should have troubled hearts, even in troublous times. When
we looked forward to the eternity of misery that is before the obstinate
refusers of Christ and his gospel, we may truly say, The greatest
earthly judgments are but the beginning of sorrows. It is comforting
that some shall endure even to the end. Our Lord foretells the preaching
of the gospel in all the world. The end of the world shall not be till
the gospel has done its work. Christ foretells the ruin coming upon the
people of the Jews; and what he said here, would be of use to his
disciples, for their conduct and for their comfort. If God opens a door
of escape, we ought to make our escape, otherwise we do not trust God,
but tempt him. It becomes Christ's disciples, in times of public
trouble, to be much in prayer: that is never out of season, but in a
special manner seasonable when we are distressed on every side. Though
we must take what God sends, yet we may pray against sufferings; and it
is very trying to a good man, to be taken by any work of necessity from
the solemn service and worship of God on the sabbath day. But here is
one word of comfort, that for the elect's sake these days shall be made
shorter than their enemies designed, who would have cut all off, if God,
who used these foes to serve his own purpose, had not set bounds to
their wrath. Christ foretells the rapid spreading of the gospel in the
world. It is plainly seen as the lightning. Christ preached his gospel
openly. The Romans were like an eagle, and the ensign of their armies
was an eagle. When a people, by their sin, make themselves as loathsome
carcasses, nothing can be expected but that God should send enemies to
destroy them. It is very applicable to the day of judgment, the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ in that day, 2Th 2:1. Let us give diligence to
make our calling and election sure; then may we know that no enemy or
deceiver shall ever prevail against us.
    Pulpit Commentary
Verse 13. - He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (Matthew 10:22).
Here is a note of consolation amid the refrain of woe. Patience and
perseverance shall be crowned at the last. "The end" means primarily the
destruction of Jerusalem, and the salvation promised is safety in that
day of peril. It is believed that no Christians perished in the siege or
after it (see ver. 16). But τέλος, being
here used without the article (differently from vers. 6 and, 14), must
not be restricted to one allusion, but must be taken more generally, as
indeed a universal axiom, equivalent to "finally," as long as endurance
is needed. And the salvation must refer to the soul's sentence at the
last day, not to any mere safety of body and life. What the maxim says
is this: patient continuance in well doing, resignation under
persecutions and afflictions, holding fast the one faith even though it
lead to the martyr's death, - this shall win the crown of eternal
blessedness. The Christian must not be led astray by false teachers nor
offended by the prevalence of scandals, nor let his love be chilled, if
he would gain the reward, share in Messiah's glory, and save his soul.
Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible
    But
he that shall endure to the end,.... In the profession of faith in
Christ, notwithstanding the violent persecutions of wicked men; and in
the pure and incorrupt doctrines of the Gospel, whilst many are deceived
by the false teachers that shall arise; and in holiness of life and
conversation, amidst all the impurities of the age; and shall patiently
bear all afflictions, to the end of his life, or to the end of sorrows,
of which the above mentioned were the beginning:
    the
same shall be saved; with a temporal salvation, when Jerusalem, and the
unbelieving inhabitants of it shall be destroyed: for those that
believed in Christ, many of them, through persecution, were obliged to
remove from thence; and others, by a voice from heaven, were bid to go
out of it, as they did; and removed to Pella, a village a little beyond
Jordan (u), and so were preserved from the general calamity; and also
with an everlasting salvation, which is the case of all that persevere
to the end, as all true believers in Christ will.
    (u) Euseb. Eccl. Hist. l. 3. c. 5.

U see that's how U can see someone .. who wants to bring U back into slavery but he seeing the freedom that U have " it seems that U can't have your freedom but only the only freedom U have is his way ... Can i have the freedom to have a good relationship with God or fellowship with him .. if U don't want to do these things .. well that's the freedom U have it's your choice .. that's why Ralph U need to let the people have there liberty .. not to take there liberties away from them .. remember that those people that sit under U they are not your people but they are God's people .. your just a tenant who is working in the vineyard 🤔

Of course, once we are born again we no longer have the old nature. The Bible says in 11 Corinthians 17:5 that if any man is in Christ he is a new creation and old things have passed away, and behold all things have become new. The old man dies with Christ who became sin that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. But we do have a mind that has to be renewed to this. Check out Romans 12:1-2. It now becomes a matter of renewing our minds to become conformed to the image of Christ. God does the renewing as we submit to Him. We begin to think like God thinks.

On 2 Corinthians 5:17, your Bible should have the words "he is" in italics, which means it's added by the translators as an attempt to clarify the passage. Sometimes though, the clarification can lead to confusion. Some bibles have it as _there is_. Literally, it says "that if any man is in Christ new creation" in the Greek. So the context dictates what is new.
And the context is as follows:
_18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation_
So what this is saying is that we are new _according to_ the imputed righteousness that Christ has given us (Romans 4), not according to the flesh that people see. This does not deny the two natures, it reinforces it.

I agree. We are new creations if we are in Christ.

That's not what it's saying. It's not saying that we no longer have the old nature. It's actually talking about witness and how Christians should regard one another_ (see verses 16 and 20)

Of course that is what it is saying. Anything with two natures is a freak. Verse 21 says we are the righteousness of Christ. Look at Romans 6 we are new creations. How can we carry on the mission of reconciliation if we are like the world with it's nature?

Now go read Romans 7:14-8:1, and then read Galatians 5:16-26. Notice Paul promotes the idea of two natures. That's what it means to be "born again". If your flesh had no sin after faith in Christ, how does it pass on sin to our children? Please read 1 Corinthians 15:44-50 also. Or you could actually watch the video.

It is sad at how wrong Yankee is on this subject. There is no such thing as a sin nature or christians having two natures. Yankee is real good at building a straw man then preaching not the Bible but preaching his sermon based on that straw man that Yankee invented. Sad, sad, sad indeed.

Debra I have listen to many of Yankee's sermons. I shared a platform with him. I preached first then he preached. He butchered the book of Romans. Nothing he preaches is in context. Yankee builds a straw man then uses it as a backdrop for his sermons. His messages are all out of context and are not scriptural. There is no scripture that teaches we have two natures. He has made it up!
