My laptop is Acer Aspire E5-575G-55GU (i5-7200U, 12GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 940MX GDDR5), what M.2 SSD is compatible? Kingston A2000 M.2 NVMe PCIe (M key, Single Notch) or Kingston A400 M.2 2280 (M and B key, Double Notch)? Thank you!
Hello sir!
Thank you for the help that you've shown in this video, I have used Adata 128gb m.2 NVMe ssd into my Acer E15-575G, I have cloned my c drive into it and went to boot my system to the new ssd, it's not booting into the new one even though I have set it as the top priority on the booting list, tried updating the bios and all the updates still now result, can you suggest something and yes what's the advanced booting option for this laptop I've mentioned.
Before moving to any advanced boot options, did you try by removing your old boot disk?
Could you please tell me your laptop's whole model number? I am confused because Acer didn't officially mention an m.2 SSD slot for my laptop which is (ACER E15 E5-575G-30UG) but it has an m.2 slot.
Yes, your laptop has an M.2 slot with M key.
See the video description for compatible and recommended M.2 NVMe SSD.
Hello, i would like to upgrade my E5-575g with a same Ssd (but 256gb) everything goes well while installing windows 10 but when it wants to reboot first after the installation the installation starts again. If i unplug the usb it says no bootable device. May you have Any idea?
Could I add 2 SATA hdd and M.2? Or is it where if we use the m.2 that it takes 1 sata hdd away?
I have a question. I bought nvme m.2 ssd . After, I setup ssd in mothercard. Its okey. I cloned hdd in ssd. But, I show ssd in bios info menu but i didnt show boot menu. I show only hdd. What is my problem ?
I have a machine from Asus ux490ua and the same drive and I get similar speeds as you, 1800 read and 1700 write. Even though it's an pcie 3 x4 slot. Which should in theory have allowed it to run at 3500/3000. Haven't been to find a cure. One claim its a CPU bottleneck. But I don't know.
Hi...I have an Acer laptop with model name Aspire E5-575G-37LF and I want to know will m.2 nvme PCIe SSD support in this model or not? my laptop has an Intel i3 6th generation processor.
Depends on the PCIe interface version and speed.
@@asatechnical Sir my laptop has PCIE express version 3x and maximum link width is 2x. And other port had PCIE version 3x and maximum link width is 4x.

Interface of Samsung 970 EVO plus is PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, but on the laptop is x2, so whether the speed will decrease or bottleneck following interfaces that are there or supported on the motherboard?
x4 is twice the speed of x2, so if that drive is capable of using the entire bandwidth of x4, then its speeds will be cut in half when it's connected to x2.
Please help me

If your laptop's motherboard has a M.2 with M-key slot and PCIe interface Gen 3 and speed x2 or x4 then no problem.
For more details you can follow the instructions that I showed up in this tutorial.
@@asatechnical how do you know this things from your pc?
Compatible in acer E14 E5 475G?
Do I need to plug in my charger into my laptop when assembling and turning it on again? Especially when you did something from that tiny hole?
No, don't plug in AC power adapter during battery removing and assembling.
After assembling you can plug in the AC power adapter and then turning it on.

Yes ,but you can not enjoy maximum performance of your nvme ssd bcz you have only one lane and pcie 3.0x4 means it has four lane which transfer 1 gb per lane so you will get 1gb as you have I lane.

Acer F15 Series (F5-573G-74FZ) i7 - 7th Gen ... Will an NVMe M.2 SSD Support for this Notebook Laptop?
(in HWinfo64, I found One PCI 3.0- 4x, One 3.0- 2x, and Two 3.0 - 1x Ports)
Yes, of course 💻👍
and what makes sense? this nmve can work only with half speeed !!! because this ssd nest cant handle more speed on this current laptop ... they cant reach their read/write 3500mbs :/ , just half speeds... it doesnt matter. Interface of Samsung 970 EVO plus is PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, but on the laptop is x2 , x4 is twice the speed of x2, so if that drive is capable of using the entire bandwidth of x4, then its speeds will be cut in half when it's connected to x2.
mean not useful this series laptop ..? better normal sata 3.2 ssd ..?
