Maybe an insane question seeing as this laptop model is like 4-5 years old at this point but did that frame the secondary HDD was in come with the laptop? Mine definitely didn't so I've always had something jerryrigged inside to keep it from moving (because they made the space WAY too big so any HDD/SSD you put in there will be loose and potentially disconnect), but seeing this it makes me wonder if that part was supposed to be included (especially since they do include frames/brackets on the Acer 5 series now). That being said, where would I be able to get something like that? Every result for that solely returns brackets for 2.5" to 3.5" conversion.

Hi, you can use most of the 2,5" inch SATA standard SSD, in my office i used actually many of Crucial / micron SSDs like BX500 Series, or Samsung 850 860 Series.
Can this laptop work without the battery? I have one since 2017 and I think the battery is kaput. I'm trying to get a replacement, but in the meantime I want to use it without the battery if possible. Because it continues to discharge and turn off suddenly. And it just charged when it's off.
