And also this video will help you to changing or replacing your laptop’s DVD optical drive.

No but another model laptop does have one, look for the Acer aspire e15/e5-575-72n3, it doesn't matter if the CPU is an Intel core i3, core i5, core i7, etc. All of them have an M.2 connector.

I don't know why Acer made it so hard to change internals but be careful when pulling away the keyboard. Don't force anything and you'll be fine.

Holy shit man thanks. I'm gonna build a PC in a couple of months and my laptop was running really bad and really hot. I opened it up, cleaned out all of the dust, took off the heatsink and replaced the thermal compound with good deepcool z3 and the idle temperature dropped by 10°C!!! Thanks so much!

ik im late but unscrew it all, take like an old credit card, find the biggest gap avalible, stick it in but dont force too much or put too much of the card in or you might damage the internals, now go along the sides and pry until it comes loose. itll take 15 mins if youre good at it

It suddenly stopped working while switching on by a beep sound.
Now if I put on the charger light turns on ,but when i connect it to laptop the light goes off and laptop does not power on.

Did you clean it properly? try to see where is touching during spinning the fan blade.

Fun Time for the amount of time it would take and do whatever y’all need to be done and you’re not too sure if it is just buy another one for it. I had some high-end gaming fans $79 each. Also check around the vent a screw may have come loose but you would never know until it was turned on. Always hated it when I had a screw loose always so hard to find you know. Lol

It’s the strip tapes, honey. When you take out the little strips out of the slots you have to make sure it’s back in all the way. If these strips aren’t properly put back the keyboard will give you issues as it is what operates the keyboard keys and mouse.

How do you remove the optical drive so easily? Mine is connected with a cable which seems to be pretty hard to disconnect and reconnect.

When laptops became less modular hard to open clam shells is when i decided to nope myself out of doing repairs. I do not have the patience for bullshit. What is the point of the claim shell clips on the plastic when its held together with screws. Then make it 100 times harder to get to any components.
