I think that many people are build for different reasons. Many people enjoy the boosted life because they experience a car that was boosted. I do see a few people who get over the ITB/Boosted set ups because they are not as reliable or they want to continue for power. The end game for now is E85AWD set ups. Some people enjoy the n/a set ups since they are simpler. Awesome content brotha. Do more live sessions.
you should always build for N/A first, then, boost. Brakes, Suspension, ECU, FBO, fuel, cams, valve springs. then, you're at the fork in the road. ITB's, or turbo kit. Leave the block stock until you have a full N/A set up, or a full boost setup. CSS block, with pistons, and rods.
OEM plus for sure will be a big trend. Especially being older and experiencing all the issues with boosted/highly modified cars. You forget the simple joys of reliability and driving pleasure that Hondas are engineered to be.
I'm unsure about my next step, I have a d series non vtec. I can put a vtec head and gain 15 hp and that would bump my compression. So that may be bad for boost. But if I boost i can make way more power. The OEM vtec head would more reliable. I have alot to think about. Thanks.
I do believe these are gradual steps that you need to take but it also depends on what your building The car to do Are you gonna do track autocross rally drag race
I think people build in stages to see their car's progression, and sometimes it can be the lack of funds, so people do as much as they can with a budget. Fuel the same thing cause you do get a bit more power. I instead would spend the money the one time with the end goal in mind. My DB8R is that OEM plus build I have in mind. I hope that clear enough and answers the question!
I think turbo e85 is excessive unless you plan on taking the car to the drag strip. We don't have a lot of stations that supply it down here. As for OEM+. I think even a lightly boosted oem+ setup is optimal, especially out here at 6000ft elevation. Being N/A up here sucks.
I doubt oem builds will catch on because the prices for parts are too high. Unless you buy a clean si or type r no other honda is going to hold its value enough to justify oem prices
People saying your paying way to much for the car....no u are buying a chance to win the car if u win u pay way less than its worth and if u lose u only lose a fraction of what its worth right?
Love you
Lol. So funny. It’s the glasses
"The Future is OEM." I think your right, that's were it's heading!

Another banger of an episode bro!
Much love to you brother!! 🙏🏾 I highly agree with you and my Crx is definitely heading to OEM+ from functional cup holders, to minty Si seats!
We are sure hoping for the OEM+ trend to continue & we're here to help! 😎

The backs used to behind the neck on the back. Haha I should put that back. Easter egg
N/A for daily car 👍🏼
I don't get the point of OEM+ unless you have other projects that you are going further with.
Def agree about oem
First and foremost my heart goes out to dana and his family

Agreed ...I have always loved the OEM look and that's what I have stuck with and made it my own.
