I’ve had a b18c1 fully rebuilt and in 300 miles was leaking from valve cover and idles too high. This was at a very famous shop for JDM cars not a cheap shop. Also my paint looks like shit when I paid for that too and car has been in garage for 10 years never driven. Absolutely amazing attention to detail and thank you so much for sharing. I wish you were in SoCal I would ask you to fix up my 93 eg. It isn’t anything as bad as the one you found in a barn. Just happened to run across this video. My buddy and I built a civic like that with the Type R motor and the 5 lug conversion - car wasn't fast in a straight line, but it was almost literally a go-kart for the street. So fun. The best part of the video is watching you spend time with your son - time flies as a parent and all these little things you do with them you forget about, but they are monumental to them. God Bless from the USA!

This is the work I always wanted to do. Finding old and rusty but beautiful cars, "tearing" them apart, buying new parts and then reassembling them. I'm playing car mechanic simulator and I always go to the barn to find old Japanese "treasures" and then restoring them for free (cuz I'm on sandbox mode). When I'm older and have a lot of money I just want to buy cars in bad shape and then restore them just as a hobby, not necessarily a job :)

Man you got some great skills! Turned this wreck into a nice looking fun to drive rocket! I’ll bet that car handles on rails and is a blast to drive!

Epic build, you bring these cars back to life and enhance them along the way. By far the best in class on RUclips. Keep going with the excellent content.

I had that exact car, a 1991 Civic Hatchback 5 speed, bought for $7200 brand new, at Plaza Honda, Brooklyn, NY 1992. Passenger side mirror was a $92 option. My cousin in Glasnevin, Dublin had a Honda Integra, it was not Acura in Ireland. Too bad got rear ended upstate NY, on a ski trip, fixed and traded in for a Mazda Navajo ( 2 door Ford Explorer).

With the way you've pumped out 3 full restoration videos on your own in the last 8 months, I'm assuming this is now your job?.. Because I don't know any married man with kids who has the spare time to pull this off after work. You've got a crazy work ethic man, fair play.

if you've got the skill (and the shop + tools) you'll make way more doing this and selling them than at any stupid job, and you'll actually enjoy yourself.
