As per dipyourcar videos, plastidip is meant to be put with thicker coats (still trying to avoid drips) and hyperdip, a different product should be sprayed more like paint, lightly.

I have been through many cars since that one and to this day I look back and want to daily drive it. I loved everything about it except the MPGs. And now that is not a concern for me really and I would not hesitate to trade my rare Jetta for one.

@@PACKERMAN2077 It wasn't really what I said, when they wash a vehicle they tend to start from the bottom instead of washing the roof first and working their way down. I see a lot of people do this, I have seen painters do this, when they (eg) paint a wall, they will start at the floor and work their way up the wall. Doing this they are working over wet paint, the same applies with washing a vehicle.

Much rather see cars from the 70’s or 80’s, muscle cars or the old luxury cars brought back to life rather than little pootbox rally cars . Not to mention that Brent took 3 minutes of the video “for comparison” just to show off what he owns.

I think I would have just let those carpets sit in a solution of Odor Ban for a few hours just to help them smell better. I’m not a fan of those round headlights, but they look so much better after treatment.

I think I was giggling as much as the owner. What a joy! I hope he can enjoy it again. So stoked he kept it instead of selling it!

Great job as usual guys, it looked like new when you were done.
The headlights remind me of an 01 Ford Taurus.

all that detailing and then beat on it with no fluid changes :( that's one of my absolute dream cars, sad to see it like that.

the bug eye is by far the best WRX. best looking, lighter, handles better, no unnecessary electronics, drop in a late model twin scroll 2.5 engine, swap out the gear box and drive train from the STI and a booming sound system, rally blue, with Rays Wheel Ce28 n 18 wheels, carbon fiber hood scoop and rear wing risers.

You really went above and beyond for this one by painting the wipers, wheels, and refinishing the shroud below the wipers. Those details go a long way to making a car look new again.

100% right on the mods. Those cars were fun but it was so easy to break them.

Headlights made the single biggest difference to the overall appearance and took years off how it looked. Way to go guys.
