- This was a long and tedious process that took many hours to achieve the look I was going for and although it took forever to finally start laying down some paint, I feel like it was well worth the outcome. Enjoy.

8:48 looks good
Thanks. Much appreciated
That black diamond you have there is the medium grit(black blue bag) they have a fine bag which is red. would have probably not been as rough. Great job none the less, waiting on the finished setup.
Thats honestly good news to hear because it worked great. But was just too rough. But now I know. Thanks a ton.
i wish you had a video for the hardest part; which is the prepping / paint stripping process
Sorry for the late reply but I wished I was able to capture that process for the video as well. Just that when it got down to it, it was too much a tedious process to stop and record or try to get the right angles and lighting. If I happen to do another one in the future, I'll be sure to include it in.
aye boss what color is that, and where did you get it? I’ve been looking all over for some
The color is bronze by duplicolor and I just ordered it off of Amazon.
After the sand blast they looked pretty good. These hold up well?
Held up until I went and got it chemically dipped to remove all the paint off and now it's just bare.
Nice job bro, what that kit you used to spray out the material. Thanks in advance
I started out with the blue diamond but the grit I bought was too harsh so I switched over to play sand from home depot.
Looks great, what colour code pain is it?
thanks! i am not sure of the paint code but the color is bronze from dupli-color.
Hey bud ,they came out great . Have you mounted tires on them ? Did the paint hold up?
I haven't yet, but I'll be sure to do a video once I get the tires mounted and probably do some cinematic with t before asking.
what the color code for that i know they make different color in bronze
I'm not too sure then, I just Amazon the bronze can and it's what I used. Wasn't aware that there was more.
hey what the color code of that ik they have a few different bronze color
Not too sure which because I thought it was just the one, lol. But I got it off Amazon if that helps?
How's the paint holding up?
Still the same from when I sprayed. Clear coat doing it justice.
How did it hold up?
It held up pretty good, up until I decided to take them to go get chemically dipped to remove everything and start fresh. My best advice when doing this, take your time on the clear coat and be greedy with it, clear will help protect and hold the base color altogether.
How many cans did it take to do the bronze?
A can was able to do 2 wheels but I did 3 cans just in case for more coverage. But i wouldn't do anymore than 3 coats just to allow the coats to cure over time.
@Steve Moua Thanks for the info. I am ordering the paint online and I needed to know how much to get. This color is really hard to find right now and I want to make sure to get enough. I don't want to get half way through the job and realize I need more because it takes like 2 weeks to get.
@Frank Smythe yeah I think 3 would be perfect for you, these are 19 inch wheels too. If you're afraid it won't be enough, 4 wouldn't hurt.
@Steve Moua Yeah mine are only 18s and I'm only doing the spokes and leaving the lip black. I ordered 4 and if I end up with an extra can I can use it for touch ups later. Thanks for your help bro.
It’s been 8 months, how they holding up??
They still look the same honestly.
Really eh! Sweet ima grab some and paint my truck rims the same colour bronze. Thanks bro, good work!
@@ianwilton1701 anytime. You'll be happy with it, just take your time on prep and paint. Painful but worth it.
Hi! How quantity i need of dupli color per weel? Thanks
I was able to do two per wheel but I'd grab 3 just in case you need more coverage.
@@stevemoua2580 okay thanks bro
