- The NASCAR Cup Series takes over the streets of Chicago in a second running if the Grant Park 165. Shane Van Gisbergen looks to defend his incredible 2023 victory, but the competition is fierce in the 40 car field. 2021 Cup champion Kyle Larson leads the field off with fast Toyota drivers like Ty Gibbs, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell also fighting for supremacy. Add to all of that, Mother Nature may rear her ugly head one more time.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind just using time for road courses in the future. Just use like 135 mins (2hrs 15 mins) for all of them. Don't even worry about distance for those tracks anymore, just time.
Would make for some really interesting strategy
@@R34Rules Agreed.
SVG took “if you ain’t first you’re last” too literally
Redskins stadium is outside of DC in the livable community of gorgeous Prince George's County, MD. Living in the area it would be a great location just doesn't have the demographic. Bodymore, Murderland did have a Indy street race year ago. 😅
Stage Cautions need Eliminated entirely at every track.
I attended both days, but left early on Sunday during the race delay, cause I knew it wasn't going to go the distance. I live in chicago and been a fan of nascar for 20+ years. I hope they bring it back in 2025, cause nascar put alot of effort into the track preparations and accommodating the city. The rain definitely changed the Sunday race unfortunately, but I'm more pissed about the late start time. I don't understand why start the xfinity race @ 2:30 and it was 50laps, but start the cup race @ 3:30 with 75laps
Yes!! Thought it was a great race. Maybe consider the timing of the event. Start no later than 1 EST.
I was surprised that within 10 laps cars were going a lap down.
Hey iceberg I love your videos and wondering when the next nascar weekly podcast videos are
If it was dry it would be cool. Xfinity race was good
Imagine how exciting the race would have been if not for the rain or 14 car today
wow never thought a race would be in a city
I was hoping for another Byron win
Yes
Its not dumb for people to protest. Its our right as US citizens weather you think its dumb or not. freedom is important
If Bowman was bad driver,he wouldn't be in Hendrick cars
Yes, Eliminate the Stages at Road Courses
Agreed
Run the Chicago race on Lower Wacker Drive and rain won't be an issue...
Thanks to former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot for bringing the Chicago street race to the NASCAR fans!
Without her, all this doesn't happen...btw

I’m sooo annoyed
Without the stage cautions, need no dose to watch
Chevy sweeps Chicago...
Absolutely 💯 Chevrolet rules
Kyle Petty has 8 wins??? Seriously???
Late 80s to mid 90s kyle was legit and had some really good races. He finished top ten in points several times, and i think he even won the Coca-Cola 600 one year, but man the last 5 to 10 years of his career were pretty awful.
Curious what you said about Bubba. Dude gets the short end every time. Outdrives Bowman the entire first stage, gets dumped by him and passes pretty much more cars than anyone all day to salvage a 13th. Meanwhile, the guy who dumps him wins the race. Last week he was screwed by NASCAR scoring loop who continually kept putting guys like Busch and Reddick ahead of him after wrecks even though he got through the accidents better. Once again, a driver he has more points than (Logano) backs into a win. I mean, he has every right to be angry and he didn’t even pay Bowman back during the green which HAPPENS EVERY WEEK and everyone thinks its awesome, but how dare Bubba give the guy who cost him a chance at winning a tiny bump after the race lmfao. Anyhow, go Vikes!
