I love this podcast, that's why I would like to suggest better microphones, these ones are picking up a little bit too much room noise. Clip mics should do the trick. And then a bit of equalization and compression, to hear the loud parts as well as the lower volume ones. Just to hear these legendary stories, a bit better.

And kudos to the one-kid idea...the world is already overpopulated and you really don't need two if you are content with your family life. Your little girl looks super happy and you look like a beautiful family, and you have every right to enjoy your relationship with your partner and your free time as much as you enjoy being a dad. had the same thing with my son being good for me but not so much for Mum ....my theory is Mum is trying to do lots of other things plus look after the kids ....whereas when its Dads turn he's often more focused on having fun with the kids as its his day/s off work .....plus Dads tire kids out more
